“Racist Country That Doesn’t Like Black Players” | England Advance To Euro Semi Finals

  • England have booked their place in the Euro 2024 semi-finals after a dramatic penalty shootout win against Switzerland.
The nail-biting match ended 1-1 after extra time, with neither team able to clinch a winner during the additional 30 minutes.
Despite missing their captain and usual penalty maestro, Harry Kane, who was substituted for Ivan Toney in the second half of extra time, England kept their cool.
Gareth Southgate's men proved their mettle, slotting home all five of their penalties to secure the win and send the fans into raptures.
Julia Hartley-Brewer speaks with sports writer for The Telegraph, Jim White.

England was racist, just like most Western European countries which were involved in slavery and colonialism. But England was also the first country to outlaw slavery because so many white English people were horrified by it. Now we’ve invited many Africans and Asians to become citizens of this country and even had an Indian pm and you can see so much diversity in all sectors. I’d say the UK is now the least racist country in the world, or most anti-racist country in the world.

If not for immigration, how do you think the black players ended up in England? I think a lot of...not by any way the majority....but a sizeable number of people watching in E gland would have a problem with the players being black, just as they had a issue with Rishi Sunaks colour

England do get better as a tournament goes on, they always have a disaster in the group stages, much improved against Switzerland, but still need work, the one's who keep bringing up race when there is no need like Abbott should just be completely ignored, and we should be able to say that her retric is this, and this that without the fear of the cancel culture going to swoop down on you.....

It's a poor argument...immigration is one thing, illegal immigration is a completely different one,you can be in favour of one and against the latter. Race is not the key here. How many citizens are against a black NASA engineer who comes to research? How many,on the other hand, are against a black illegal who can not legally work and is going to commit felonies or even crimes? Both are black,so that's not the key factor here.

      And that's the difference .
If going to say something about them , that's one thing
but when you add racial slurs into the mix , then that's the problem .
If you still can't see it ,
then there's no point in anyone explaining it to you any further
and being a racist is best for you .
For me there's no problem with being racist , it what you do with your racism .
And the reason I have no problem with White people disliking B people is because this hatred fuels Black people to thrive , and this seems to be something White people don't know or seem not to get .
The more you hate , the more Black people want to succeed .
