Carrie Fisher was my favorite in this movie. I met her a few years ago. "You'll have to spend the rest of your life knowing that somebody else is married to your husband." AND "He's never gonna leave her." Those 2 sentences define my existence. Carrie is like my wise old aunt.
This movie never gets old, I love this cause so many reasons, perfect cast, perfect story, no melodrama or cliches. Ending is so wholesome, even this fight scene is so realistic, this is how a healthy fight should be.
Norah Ephron and her sister wrote rhe perfect New York love story The cast, the dialogue, settings, walking in Central Park that fall day. Her tribute to the Althorp was another gem.
I was looking for a new house seven years ago and in one of them the prior owners had left several things including a wagon wheel coffee table. I immediately thought of this.
The entire scene is a setup for Carrie Fisher's punchline, "I want you to know..." I honestly think this was her best role and, in many ways, she steals the movie.
Actors make movies great just as much as directing and writing. When Harry Met Sally works because all four primary characters are portrayed by actors with unique personalities.
This has got to be one of my favourite movies ever, I have watched it many many times, so many great scenes and this is one of my favourite. Love the lines and quotes. Brillant, they don't make them like this anymore.
I feel bad for Harry in this scene because he saw his ex-wife with someone else. And it really hurts him. God bless Billy crystal for this role of Harry burns. We all feel like Harry in this situation.
Luckily, I had zero problems keeping all my country/western paraphernalia... All I had to do was pull-up in front of my the home stolen from me, before the trash-service arrived there...
There was a bar(defence services) where the bar stools (designed by (a ) man/men were leather saddles! That ends all debates about what men are and what women aren't!😑😊
I’ve had many friends over my lifetime collective….most of them enjoyed hanging out with me as much as they enjoyed putting me down and telling me what my place was in my own life. Many friends just passively listen to my stories….not actually listening 👂 they are sitting 🪑 their bitting there tongues,, getting frustrated with my stories because they want to here another story from my life that’s more interesting than what lessons I’m trying to teach them. If you are actually thinking about what your response is and passively listening 👂 are you really listening 👂? Dose that resonate?…yes.?…no…? Even if I’m telling a very long interesting story,…with many different parts and hidden lessons…people who cannot listen 👂 actively…will become frustrated with not seeing themselves in the story you are telling them. Because you apparently when telling these kinds of people actually don’t respect you enough to actively listen quietly. If you cannot actually listen to people attentively then you are showing disrespect and your hubris of your own ego..will force yourself to project your own insecurities on the other person. I can ask them if they remember the lessons and can repeat 🔁 it back to me. The giant egoistical person will always..because of a fragile ego tell you that they absolutely can. But when and if you actually ask them to repeat it back to you the story teller they will become angry and hostile. Acting 🎭 in contempt and disgust at your suggestion that the somehow need to prove the lies they know to be true. They will then gaslight in any way shape or form to shift that Blame of the self…of the EGO somewhere else. Literally in any direction other than themselves. This unfortunately is a very common problem with everyone’s fragile ego. A strong man or woman with some degree of emotional intelligence will quickly observe this behavior In themselves as it happens or shortly afterwards. Someone who has no moral compassion or compass will of course not do so. They will sit in there fragile world 🌎 going back and forth without them ever committing to communicating their own flaws and insecurities. This following clip shows both these types of behaviors and what someone who has emotional intelligence will do once they realize they have errored in emotions and projections. It’s not about always being in the right all the time…it’s about making it right when you’ve realized that you’ve been in the wrong. Do your shadow work and self reflection. None of you have actually finished this process because none of you have properly been excepted into the physical school. If you haven’t figured out that I’ll know when you are ready or not … I’m really wasting my time on you… live your life in your own ego and let me live without mine. Stop projecting your insecurities on me. Watch and learn collective….this is a lesson
how silly to fight over THINGS. i never would cuz when i left my ex, i knew which things belonged to him and which were mine.not to mention he cared more about his THINGS than me , our 2 daughters , or even us.
I think all East coast Italians go to the same school to learn how to talk. 😂😂 My cousin talks like that but she is from Chicago but went to NY for college and picked up the accent and has been talking like Marisa Tomei in My Cousin Vinny ever since.
"I want you to know...that I will never want that wagon wheel coffee table."
My favorite line from this scene! XD
Yes because it appears she's going to say that they will never argue like that or break up
Me neither 😅
"are you finish now?
can i say something?
i'm sorry"
my fave scene ever 💛
Dont say a Word :)
Yes so real

"I was being NICE!"
"From the law firm of "THAT'S MINE, THIS IS YOUR'S!!!" freaking hilarious
I love how Sally tells him off! and to his credit he handles it very gracefully.
I appreciate that she'll stand there and argue back.
Soon after my brother was married, he referred to a piece of their furniture as "the wagon wheel coffee table" of their marriage. Hehe.
I love Billy Crystal in this movie, he's so great.
It's a great movie.

3:36 ... when you can't stand the fact that you've hurt the other one.... I'm not a rom-com guy but I love this movie so much :)

I was looking for a new house seven years ago and in one of them the prior owners had left several things including a wagon wheel coffee table. I immediately thought of this.

Best film ever. Great great dialogues.

Quijote Web TV This is one of the films I watched for a paper in my last years contemporary film history class at PCC. I loved it.
Actors make movies great just as much as directing and writing. When Harry Met Sally works because all four primary characters are portrayed by actors with unique personalities.
I want you to know....I will never want that wagon wheel coffee table.
This fight is my favorite scene.
Yes because it shows forth their friendship actually growing
This has got to be one of my favourite movies ever, I have watched it many many times, so many great scenes and this is one of my favourite. Love the lines and quotes. Brillant, they don't make them like this anymore.
RIP Carrie Fisher.
The wagon wheel would make a great chandelier.
I WAS BEING NICE!!!
Movies today are totally devoid of this type of dialogue, acting, and wit.
God I forgot how good this movie is.
Haha. :) "Don't say a word."
The other guy sounds exactly like Joe Pesci
Taureg if you don't know who Bruno Kirby is you are missing out on life
1:16 - 1:17 “If that’s mine, this is your’s” XD
"Don't say a word.." 😆👍🏿
RIP Bruno Kirby

When Harry Met Sally?
Heaven help me, but it was such a turn-on when Meg Ryan said the f-word, lol
After 4 years do you still want to be her proof that she is over Joe?
