      Beena Thomas one way to get less wrinkles is to apply cling film over the napkin and then smooth it out with a larger art soft brush. The cling film stops it from tearing x

    Hi love your bottles! I've painted a bottle with frenchic paint using 2 coverings. I then decoupaged a small robin using frenchic fc. I put a bottle light in and it shows up the brush Mark's and makes it look not as good. Help🙈 and do you put anything else over your bottles to protect them once you've finished?😊

    What paint and glue do you use and do you put a primer on the bottle? I just love the look of these. I have a large family and would love to make them. I haven't been very successful. Let me know. I love your channel!

    • @FairyChicPaintCo
      @FairyChicPaintCo  Před 4 lety +1

      Brenda Timmerman hiya... thank you very much. I used a chalk paint on the bottle... chalk paint sticks to anything without the need for priming generally. Any brand will do but do match the colour to the background of your napkin... I used Matt finish to decoupage with and to seal over the top.. I sell both products on my website, but you could use modge podge too.. that works just as well. Happy playing 😊

    Hello, great video. I have been trying unsuccessfully to paint glass bottles. I have used Zinsser as a base (recommended on youtube) and annie sloan chalk paint. However, when i start to paint the primer and paint slide off and crack showing the bottle underneath. Can you please give me advice i'm going to give up at this rate haha? I have also tried with a bristle brush and just a roller but the same thing occurs. pease help :)

    • @FairyChicPaintCo
      @FairyChicPaintCo  Před 6 lety

      debbie weir hiya... the chalk paint should go straight on ( no need for primer) as you say the glass is slippery.. I use a small sponge to “dab” it on ( like a makeup sponge) it seems to make the coming off less! Dry thoroughly in between coats xx

    I like the idea. I have made some for my friend. You could turn music down a bit or change it. And camera person gave me headache from all the moving.
    Thank you. God bless.

    Loved the concept & the finished items but found the videoing very hard to watch. Too much moving around made it blurred.

    When taking video let the subject move around. Zoom in if necessary otherwise just keep track of the lady and her work. Can't watch this I was getting dizzy and the sped up portion along with the moving camera made it impossible to use this video.
