- MotoeXotica's Scott Brandt and Mark Karpinski traveled to Gas Monkey Garage in Dallas, Texas to make a Mega Deal. Richard Rawlings contacted Scott because he knew MotoeXotica could find buyers. A deal was made and Gas Monkey Garage was left empty and seventeen cars made their way to St. Louis, Missouri.

Richard is a businessman who has been very successful at it. I began watching F&L more for Aaron's fantastic fabrication skills and his strive for perfection which often cost money that was not available. When Jason Aker came into the picture as a so- called Camaro guru he couldn't perform basic electrical installations which AK took seconds to rectify. I noticed him trying to manoeuvre himself into number one spot for some time and it was totally dishonourable and underhanded. It was just a matter of time before AK left to explore his own dreams- Aker now does what he does and I bear him no ill will. It was great for a long time but people and circumstances change so let's enjoy all that happened and try to understand and accept that is now gone. I hope all are having fun and my own admiration is for both Aaron and Richard- he has had to make financial decisions with his money that we commoners can only watch and be glad we are not the ones losing our shirts with the responsibilities for everyone he employs and cares for. It's his personal car he built along time ago when he was a teen or in his twenties I believe. I'm not sure he wants to sell it yet. I could be wrong
@@sostrucking I'd more want to build it myself then buy it. Plus I could save more money doing it that way and put some extras lol. Im actually right now toying with the idea of putting a turbo diesel in a '85 Pontiac Fiero because all I ever see done in them are LS1 and LS2 V8 swaps which are cool no doubt but I figured using a turbo diesel would get people to turn their heads even more what do you think?.

Also that would be pretax, pre expense , etc etc. I make 100k a year and have for over 12 years .I'm not even close to being a millionaire. In fact I'm basically just middle class. I'm not into "clones"..but That 71' Cuda is sweet, that and the Shelby didn't last long.
I followed that Shelby to buy, but it was gone quick, they washed it got it running and by the time the next person put it up 4 sale they wanted like 120k for it.
I said screw it.
