I work in a local hardware store. You've got me looking at just about everything in the store to see if I can put it to use on my leatherwork😂😂😂 Thanks for your videos!!
Hello Troy! 😂 I totally get it I always scan every aisle for potentials Love a good hardware store🙌 Thanks for your continued support my friend
I'm new to leatherworking and have scoured CZcams for information, tips and examples. From my journeys down the rabbit hole, I can say your site is by far the most comprehensive I've found. The detailed examples and instructions you provide are easy to understand and complete. Not every expert can teach or explain the subject they are proficient at and make it understandable by beginners. Your ability at leathercraft is evident but your ability at instruction and demonstration of the craft is what sets you apart from the myriad of other excellent leather crafters I've found on CZcams. Some people have either the ability to do or the ability to teach. You've got both which is a rare gift.
What an absolutely wonderful note to end my day with. You are very kind and I sincerely appreciate the time you took to say so. Thanks again
Love the "out of the box" ideas
Thanks David!! Some are definitely “out there” 😂
Great tips. I never would have thought about using nails. Or the patterns. Thank you.
Thank you!! I’m glad these helped fuel some creativity!! Also appreciate you taking the time to comment 🙌
At first I was not sure if I was going to stay subscribed to your channel there are so many and I try to keep my subs to the ones I find the most interesting or useful. After this video I have found your stuff to be both interesting and useful keep up the good work the random things you have found to use as patterns has opened my eyes to a whole new world to look for things. Keep up the great work!!!
That means a lot James!! Thanks for the vote of confidence and I hope to continue these videos with good content. Your kind words are encouraging
I'm loving these tips. All fresh ideas. Keep 'em coming. :)
Thanks Morrow. I appreciate the positive comments🙌
Thank you for keeping the videos short and to the point. Your attitude of "help people learn, not push products" is greatly appreciated. I just hope some the new -addicts- crafters can benefit from your down to earth tips and humble demeanor.
Thank you very much for the kind words Mike Very nice of you to take the time to share your appreciation in writing. 🤙
I think you just gave me an idea for a solution I have been looking for. I’m going to make a small box out of Cherry to hold my cordless Makita multitool and I will sew magnets into a leather strap to hold spare blades for the tool. I want to permanently attach the strap to the lid of the box and contact cement will probably be strong enough, I will use your last tip of the decorative brass upholstery tacks to add decoration and strength.
Hey Lex! I’m glad something sparked an idea for ya and your kind words are appreciated. Would love to see your project when it’s done👏🏻
I just finished watching all 6 tips videos. Really awesome stuff! I have hobbied with leather for years and learned some really neat tricks and tips. Thanks for such great info! Looking forward to more videos. You are doing great with the videos also.
Thanks so much Fred! I’m glad you’ve enjoyed them and this type of positive feedback is appreciated!!
@@viktorgeorge9144 Thank you for all your service as well. I recently retired from LE after 33 years. Glad to be retired with the state of the world nowadays !

I am new to leather craft and really appreciate you sharing your experience. I have finished all your tips and tricks videos and have an idea for your next video. I noticed your plate anvil on the stump and was wondering if you would consider doing a shop tour video? I look forward to your next video and thanks again for sharing journeyman your experience.
Thanks Bob for your kind words! It’s truly appreciated. I like your suggestion about a shop tour and I will do that soon. Episode 7 should be up sometime tomorrow afternoon. 🤙

I’m glad you could gain something out of all this hodgepodge 😂 Appreciate your support
Thanks for introducing me to silver soldier I’ll contact my brother about that he makes jewelry, but I would love to see your buffing wheels video setup in your shop!
Thank you Mike. I’m happy that this video gave you something to ponder. Sure makes it nice to have a great source in your brother for silver soldering 🙌🙌
I forgot to ask if you were referring to my metal buffing set up or my line finisher with the horse hair brushes for leatherwork? Thanks again for your interest
Great tips & ideas George…❤
Thanks Harley. I appreciate your kind words, but all you have to do is drive 7/10ths of a mile and tell me in person😂😂😂
@@viktorgeorge9144 True George but I like for others to know how much I am great full….!!
Thanks for sharing your skills !
Thanks John Hopefully something will help you in your future projects
A tip I use with my side cutters/nips is to fill the cutter with silicone. Then take a razor hlade and cut down the middle. Now when you snip off the end of whatever you are cutting, gets caught in the silicone and doesn't fly into your eye or across the shop.
What a great idea!! It’s this kind of banter I appreciate. Thanks for that!!
@@viktorgeorge9144lol you're welcome!
Neat tricks...Excellent
Thank you Anthony!! Glad you like them
@@viktorgeorge9144 Just found your channel Viktor.....Love it, am now subscribed
