I love your store Don and everything you have done for the Cougar community. I just can't thank you enough. From all of the hard to find, quality products, to the priceless information I got from your videos, you made it so much easier to restore my car. You even called me when I ordered all of the chrome parts for my car!!!. Who does that? I really hope you stay a part of the store after selling it. Thanks Don.

Recently, when I started bringing my '70 Mach 1 back from being abandoned, I started ordering from you guys because of your videos and your obvious knowledge and experience. That your pricing was competitive just made it all the easier. Wherever you go, whatever you do, whoever takes over, etc., I'll hope I'll be able continue to rely on the confidence you instilled in me that I was buying the right stuff from the right people. Good luck and happy travels!

Good luck with your plans! Just make sure that you sell it to someone who knows what they’re doing. I worked for a major Mustang parts retailer who was bought by a “corporate” genius who ultimately ran a 30+ year successful business into bankruptcy in less than 4 years. All this was pre-COVID too.

We are all getting older. It is good that you can financially make the decision to sell the business. The timing is good as Cougars and their parts are now worth more money. I hope the transition goes well and that the company stays intact as I would sorely miss the ability to buy from your business. I have learned much from your videos and website too!

The fact that Oregon has no sales tax and is a very popular vacation destination makes it the perfect place for this kind of business. Everyone knows the best parts come from the "West Coast". Pack up the Suburban, hook up the trailer, bring your cores and take the family to the great NW for your next vacation.

I would not recommend selling. I am a plant manager of a company that is Fourth generation. Two brothers in their 70's both retired and they have good GM's to run things. Not many have the vision you have. I've known you for about 30 years. Not done much business, but still remember you telling me not to sell that set of NOS wheelwell moldings. You are right your website is a treasure of information. Having been focused on 67-68 Cougars for the last 40 years I now have a basket case 70 Convertible 1 of 1 car and is amazing how much is different. Your site has been invaluable in sorting out the details. Just need to find one of us Cougar nuts who you mesh with and can run the day to day. You built something really special and there would be a lot less repro parts if it wasn't for you. Keep it, just find the person to handle the day to day and report to you. Down the road maybe one of your kids may want to get involved. If there is anything to pass down to your kids a business like that set up where you have people to run it I'd say be pretty cool. Best Regards, Steve
