Wade Barrett is a man’s man. This guy, so respectful really said “I know he doesn’t like me, and he knows I don’t like him. We’re just not friends” just straight up, no sob story, no bitching about how he treats him unfairly. He just said straight facts. He knows Cena gets a lot of both praise and boos. Except for Wade Barrett, all of those "enemies" sound like bitter whiny people, who were simply jealous of John Cena. If people like Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Triple H (who admitted himself, that he first disliked Cena, but then he earned his respect over time), Brock Lesnar and Undertaker (who is the most respected wrestler in the industry himself) admire you and even newer talent, such as Rollins, Reigns, Cesaro, Joe, Balor and Owens not only like, but admire you, you can't be that bad.
Remember: Nobody is loved by everyone, there will always be haters. I mean, even Punk respects Cena, eventhough he disagrees of his position as the golden boy of WWE.
Barrett is actually the only one of those wrestlers who has a legit reason to dislike Cena, because he should've put him over during the Nexus-Era. But according to Edge and Jericho, Cena himself admitted being wrong on this regard and Barrett took it like a man and continued his work, withouot bitching around that he didn't get what he deserved. I actually have no respect for any of those people, especially Chavo thinks that he's entitled to greatness, simply because of his heritage. He might be superior inside of the ring, but he couldn't cut a promo to save his life. And mic-skills are far more important than fancy in-ring-accrobatics, which is proven by people like Austin, Rock, The Miz and Cena himself.

it's WWE's fault for losing all these guys. everyone in this video was incredibly talented but got shafted bc of back stage politics. Vince will gladly get rid of anyone who Cena doesn't like by forcing them into shitty situations and ultimately making them leave or stay to be a joke. Cena brings in the most money and attention outside of wrestling fans, so it makes sense from that perspective, but it's ultimately bad for the sport. I don't care for cena personally aside from him being a meme but i'm certainly not someone who hates him. It's obvious to me still what this is. cena sees new and upcoming talent as a threat and does his best to stay on top by any means. it's only natural for someone as competitive as him and at the top of the WWE to be this way but by no means does that mean the guys that dislike him aren't as good and are "jealous". just something to think about.
Not sure how you can use Stone Cold as an example there. Stone Cold was brilliant in the ring as well as on the mic. His previous gimmick before being stone cold was the ringmaster as he had such good wrestling skills. The Rock was pretty useful in the ring aswell.
Cena does lack abit of finesse in the ring, but he has got better over the years, he’s knowhere near as limited as he was when he won his first world title
I watched Tyson Kidd vs Rey mysterio and I never realized how skilled Kidd is. He definitely should’ve gotten a push as a heel. Like a Gregory helms

there likely isn't anything worth talking about because Riley and Ryback are full of themselves. If everyone was on their side then guys like Taker, Jericho, Show, Henry, HHH, HBK or even Orton would've called Cena out for having heat with Riley. My guess is he couldn't take being third or even fourth wheel in Cena's feud with Miz and to a greater extent the rock. Riley was never that great to begin with.

Whether you love him or not, you can't deny the impact John Cena's had on WWE fans over the last 17 years. I understand he's stepped on a few toes over the years, but then again, who hasn't done that? I agree that the five men who hate John could've been main event players, namely Ryback and Wade Barrett, but they each had their own different fighting styles, I. E. Barrett being a former bare knuckle champion, and Ryback, with his uncontrollable power, but that stuff has no place in the WWE.

I met The Big Show, when he was The Giant, with WCW. He even held my son (when he was 3 months old.) I'm glad to know that he and Cena are good friends.
The Nexus was a stupid idea that should have lasted a month or two at most. The team should have quickly begun squabbling about Barrett getting all the attention, and then eventually broken up. Meanwhile Barrett could have gotten a legit push against Cena on his own.

Exactly. I'm one of the LAST people to defend Cena, since WWE shoved him down our throats at the time, but you can't deny how hard he works to keep WWE and himself as a star afloat. All 4 of the guys who hate him (excluding Wade Barrett, due to him being professional towards Cena) are extremely butthurt because they can't innovate anything for themselves to be legit in the business. Riley and Rexs got their feelings hurt because they're snowflakes, and Chavo thinks he can beat Cena and try to get over with his in-ring ability (hence why Eddie got more over than him because of his character and charisma). And Ryback, well, he's an idiot...
