Y’all. The reason they’re shooting on such steep hill is because it’s field archery. It’s supposed to mimic archery in the field rather than than the perfect, set up environment.

These are custom compound bows with their own data books for every possible variable. If the temperature changes or they make a change to the sights or arrow length they just have to change some numbers in the formulas to get the new tables for adjustments and holds.
Also, most of these bows have VERY little resistance at full draw so they can wait for most stable sight picture...but the targets are also alot smaller compared to shooting trad bow or barebow.

Well, truly Paige doesn't deserve to win. Let them take their times and shoot one by one.. or give them a negative score when they withdraw and hold again. Why? It's simple when both players stand to shoot in parallel time, they both have equal pressure and equal probability of losing focus. In this game, Paige used to show as she was ready in parallel, giving the pressure to opponent but if other girl shoots first, Paige always preferred to withdraw and shoot alone with a clear mind... That helped her a lot with her focus but it seems a flaw in rules.

For how many more years will we see women called by their first names while men are respectfully called by their last names? It most certainly is coherent with referring to them as girls and men.
