Kudos to you man....
Interesting build, just bought a Golf R , and it will be good to see where this project goes..
Definitely a fun build that's for sure lol! Just a good powerful reliable build to race the piss out of! I'm more excited for a built head more then anything later in life lol, being able to rev to 8k and run less boost and make the same power excites the shit out of me!
Well I wanna thank you for the video it help me out for most of the install I got mine done in about 2 hrs taking my time
Heck yeah! Now time for that retune 😝🤘 glad I could be of some help!
Probably the most heavily modded R on youtube. cool content, keep it up
Lol thanks man! Once sleepydubvrt is done building his motor with the APR big turbo, I'll think he'll be the boss manual R on CZcams lol. But nevertheless, I'm tryin!
Have you see the HumbleMechanice(s) Mk8 Golf R complete Audi RS3 engine swap Ottinger Body kit bagged RS3 interior too much to list Also has port injection. I'd say it IS the most heavily modded "R" He just finished it a few days ago.
I'm in this boat now looking to upgrade my Pump for A2B motorsport RS3 Brushless pump kit it cost more but its full replacement system with Plug and play connectors. Haven't seen much on it, but EQT carries it. I'm sure cause they have used it on there cars I hope. And hope it works out for my future Tune.
Stupid question... Shouldn't you have done the fuel line while doing the fuel pump after draining the lines so fuel doesn't spill out? Asking because if I go to do this I want to make sure I do everything in order as efficiently as possible :) I supposed you could just uplug the fuel pump and run the car until it runs out of gas pretty easily though. 🤔Thanks!
Also, what blue silicone hose is that on the back of your intake? Looks nice 👍🏻
Brown is ground! Good rule of thumb on VW's.
I sure won't forget now lol! Wiring is definitely not my strong side. I like wrenches and bolts 🤣
Thanks man your videos are very help full
Glad I could help!
Bryce Jordan Productions I’m right behind you in mods I don’t know any other Gti in my are as modded
@@efrainvega6614 hell yeah that's whats up! Do ya race much?
Bryce Jordan Productions I don’t race much only hit the track once
Was the purple fuse wire for the e85 sensor, mine came with 2 fuse wires 1 red for power. 1 purple which the instruction don't even mention.
I do believe so(my memory is bad)! Shoot an email to PR, but also check their site I think they've updated their install instructions
We should have looked at this footage in the process lol 😂
I also shouldn't have drank the night before 😅
Hey! I know my bf needs mpi kit like this to run an ethanol tune but I want to be sure I'm getting the right thing. I've been checking it out online and wanted to see if you had the link to get this at? I'm kinda just getting the hang of the support mods he needs. Xmas gift:) Thanks!
Hell yeah that's pretty dope of you!! This is the link for the MPI kit alone (I went 925cc, that's plenty for 550whp), the second link will be for the fuel kit. I went with the stage 3 kit & now they offer it to be pre installed into a new bucket which saves a ton of time!

was it hard to fit the intake manifold after installing the fuel rail? Did it go in with the fuel rail attached or did you have to install the manifold first and then the fuel rail? Great video content man!
Manifold then rail, it's not hard at all once you see what you're working with!
Big questions what do u have to tap.into the ecu ive been sittin on my 925
Just a few wires nothing really crazy. They have a full PDF for the install on their website it walks you through everything
Excited to see this thing running with the new tune! I'm planning to get a Walbro 305/450 somewhere down the road and this install video might come in handy. (ps: what song was playing in the back @7:23 ?)
Let me know if you need guidance! There's a few DIYs and such out there as well! I'm excited too, should be starting tuning any minute here today! Song is: black bear - I miss the old u
@@BryceJordanProductions 😍
Good ass song! Dig me some black bear 😁
Don't waste your time with the walbro 305, go with either the 450 or 525.
Went with the 450 😉
How long did you run the big fuel pump and injectors before you put the eqt turbo in? I ask because I have the hellcat pump sitting in the box and now I need new injector so I figured I would just get the precision raceworks. I plan on getting the big turbo eventually. Did it run ok? Crazy mpg loss?
I didn't run it beforehand really. But you could be fine to do so. The injectors won't fire till you're tuned and the ECU says to do so. MPGs I don't event pay attention to, it's a given that it won't ever be the same. You won't be able to resist much anyways lol
Yeah just curious i have a gti. Just had to replace the hpfp after it went after me changing to the auto tech piston I changed failed (definitely get the tool) went with hpa pump. Was tuning when it failed and with 5 percent e85 mix it was at 400 whp with is38. So I know its hard to resist
And for the record I love watching your videos. Keep it up and welcome back
Hey do you can run the car out of the tune when it's installed the PR kit? I'll buy PR kit but I thinking to install by myself but need to drive to the tuner guy. Thanks
Yeah you can drive fine, it won't be active until the ECU tells it to work. But if you're doing a fuel pump as well, that's where things get sketchy. I wouldn't go too fast and definitely stay out of boost
Ok..... so I can connect the ECU cables everything just the fuel pump it's the only problem for more gas ⛽ hehe thanks man for the info.
@@BryceJordanProductions thanks for answering. I was wondering the same if I can drive to my tuner installed and wired and ready for activation.
I am also debating if I do the drop in LPFP at the same time then drive to my dealer then later get the BT in or do it all at the same time. 🤦🏻♂️
How is the multi port different than stock? Yeah you get bigger injectors, are you changing their positions as well
Well physically you're adding 4 more injectors that spray on the valves (direct Injectors go directly into the cylinder), a fuel rail, pressure sensor, and all the wiring to accommodate that. So you end up with 8 Injectors working together. Power wise it all depends on your turbo setup and such but now you have alot more room for fueling and boost, assuming you did a fuel pump to go with the port injection. Hopefully this helps! If you want more specifics feel free to ask!
you mentioned Denver. i am in Colorado springs. who do you recommend in CO
Bluewater for a shop!
@@BryceJordanProductions thanks sorry i didnt say what reccomendation i was looking for but you nailed it. currently doing a new engine and turbo on a mk7 GLI
I've been running this kit for a few months now. Keep an eye on that fuel line, especially the bend from the rail to the HPFP. The sheathing on mine has already cracked there, fire hazard. It looks nice when new, but I'll be changing the fuel line soon, the fuel line from precision is crap in my opinion.
We're you running the engine cover? Any chance that could have done some rubbing? I'll definitely keep an eye out!
@@BryceJordanProductions sorry I was under my daughter's account lol. Yes I run the engine cover. The split in the fuel line started near the rail, not by rubbing on the cover but near the tight bend there near the rail. Just keep an eye out...
I didn't even notice the screen name till you said something 😂😂 but will do! I'm in there every other day checking oil/coolant/catch can 🤘
Hey Bro!
Thanks again for the help with the turbo install...finally got the big turbo in and now it is time to do the port injection. Im in the process of removal but I see some people remove the throttle body from the manifold before removing it.....is it necessary or can I just leave it on the manifold?
Thanks again and be safe !
Absolutely not. I think it would be almost impossible actually. Leave that sucker on there!
@@BryceJordanProductions yeah I figured that some other guys showed in his video that you need to remove it before you take the manifold off ......now I know I should have watched your video from the get go 😂
Btw what state are you located at?
Im in new Mexico. I have another video that shows this better too I'll try and find it
@@BryceJordanProductions I got the manifold on ...luckily I found a euro spec with pre drilled injector holes and mounts already in..but my problem now is when I tightened the bolts I snapped two of the ....I was able to remove them but am I doing something wrong......should I replace all the bolts with new??
The long ass bolts? Geez are you a giant?? Lol! I've re used them several times with no issues!
Did you upgrade your FPCM? at what point would you?
What is a FCPM? Like fuel controller? You should do it with a 450 if running ethanol or any other larger pump. I didn’t here cause I was on 91 octane. Once I went E I got a controller
@@BryceJordanProductions What controller did you end up getting?
Great vid 👍🏻. Ya, that is a decent amount of carbon buildup, but I've seen worse. You probably took care of a good amount of it through the Italian tune up. 😂
So you can drive the car around after you installed the fuel rail and injectors with no fuel hooked up to it yet, correct?
Also, I take it with the port injection you have negated the need for a HPFP?
Looks like a LOT of work! I would be scared AF to modify and install that fuel pump myself. Then again all the modifications I've done to my R have been nerve racking. 😂
Yup no need for the HPFP due to port injection! I was thinking the same thing, with as hard as I drive the car at events I'm sure that helped negate some buildup over time, I'm just real curious to see if the port injection will actually clean up the valves or just prevent additional buildup.. guess we'll see in a few months lol. It was alot of work.. but once it's done it's done.. hopefully won't ever touch that stuff again lol
@@BryceJordanProductions Cool, man, thanks. Sorry, so you CAN drive it around with the port injector installed but NOT yet hooked up to fuel right?
Yes, I did but babied it.. gotta be careful especially if you do a fuel pump because the computer isnt calibrated for it
@@BryceJordanProductions Makes sense, thanks 👍🏻
With the new injectors you are eliminating the oem injectors but leaving them in place ?
Nope, I utilize all 8! The top four kick in at like 3200rpm or so
Bryce Jordan Productions awesome content bro ! I had my mk6 build tuned with frank mabo and now I’m looking forward to tuning my R with him!
Oh hell yeah that's awesome! Frank is the man! What color R did you get?
Bryce Jordan Productions 6 speed limestone gray !
My man! Hell to the yeah. I loveeeee LSG! #savethemanuals 🤘
You have the euro manifold and rail now right?
i do! definitely recommend!
Bryce Jordan Productions where did you source it? Part number? 🤓

What hpfp?
Stock. I don’t suggest doing hpfp. Mpi gives you all the fuel you’ll ever need. Hpfp is just a bandaid and a lot of them go bad
@@BryceJordanProductions thought so.
Hi, where pdf file?
Should be in the Description
@@BryceJordanProductions Hey man, can you help us with the PDF link? thank you
I’m doing a MPI injector kit like yours on my 2015 A3 so I then can have my IS38 turbo running wayyyy better🤙
Heck yeah man!! You’re gonna love it!
