What a great opportunity it must have been for Vinny to be able to voice a character in Arzette.
Really fits with the aesthetic of the game.

I think it's great that Vinny's getting these VA opportunities. When you take away the cursed context of his various voices, he has some legitimate talent as a VA and amazing range.
Those Mario and Luigi impressions still get me to this day.
I think all VAs make cursed jokes in character. All my VA-inclined friends do.

The focus on inflections in the voice acting is way more refined, maybe that's just the quality mic, but that just goes to show Vinny knows what he's doing. He's really good at manipulating his thrussy

This feels like a less exaggerated version of his Picard. I think that's why people didn't notice.

We're so used to his ridiculous voices that a more subdued one is unrecognizable.
I love how he says "Fine Dining", but the way he nonchalantly says "Thats not me, chat, I voiced a uh hippopotamus" gets me too

2:25 cements vinny as a true voice actor, forgetting things he's been in.
The long pause at the end of the cutscene like it’s loading the scene is such a beautiful addition.
It's amazing how... on point these cutscenes are regarding the feel of these infamous CDi games. The face close ups, the sudden weird expressions at fertain points, the emphasis on certain words. Even the way the whole thing is said.
I like how it's a variant of the voice Vinny has for Frog in Chrono Trigger.

The first part, I can definitely hear Vinny. I even thought he was just doing a random voice at the start of it, and then it progressed into something I didn't recognize

Vinny voicing a CD-I type character for an actual game to be immortalized for YTPs is something I never thought would've happened 10 or so years ago, yet here we are. He should be very proud.
Arzette even says 'Indubitably' lol. Reminds me of when Vinny said that word in the RE2 Vinesauce mod stream

Funny thing is he does voice a hippopotamus in the game, this isn't a throwaway line.

Vinny has some excellent inflection in his voice and matched the character perfectly 10/10 voice acting
I'm surprised no one talking about the face at 0:26. It perfectly matches the noise Vinny made in this role.

Never heard of this and didn't see the stream so this cught me off guard, Fine Dining Phrog should be a recurring character.
Side note I love the protagonist's "completely done with this" attitude.

I hope he streams the whole game because arzette is extremely funny with some of the wackier people. For example:
There's a old man who says she has succulent flesh and it cuts to her scared with her sword pointing at him before continuing the dialogue.

I love how both of the characters that Vinny plays in this game have quest lines that involve them being hungry.
I am immensely happy that someone was smart enough to see the potential of CDI zelda and harness it for good. It's such a good idea for a game, hope it does well.
I didn't even realize it was him either, which is funny considering he feels like it sounds just like his normal voice. That is a really cool discovery to learn about
I was legit surprised that Vinny got a chance to do VA work, that was impressive! Love that li'l frog guy.

Honestly the fact that the portrayal is more subdued brings emphasis to the absurdity of everything else. I mean for heck's sake, it's a posh frog in a fancy little suit! A frog by rights *should* sound weird and croaky but this one's too damn posh for that!

The fact that even the focus group couldn't tell is a good thing, it show's Vinny's talent in going beyond his typical speaking range to fit a role of someone that would't sound like himself.
Unlike certain youtubers.
as much as I like Vinny's goofy voices I like subtle stuff like this. If i played the game myself I would have had no idea it was him and that's fun to me. Not every Tuber cameo has to be all up in your face.
I couldn't recognize the voice until he pointed it and then I just could not stop hearing it
I swear it's a weird phenomena. Saw it live and Im almost certain I didnt recognize him until he mentioned it. Now I cant imagine thinking that at all

I had this on in the background and I was pretty surprised that I didn't instantly recognize him, even after rewatching he still just sounds like a different guy in the first part to me. Much easier for me to place him in the second line of dialogue.

Saw this last night, nothing more relaxing than playing some cards while having cdi swamp music in the background yes sir.
it was very clearly his voice, but in the way where you can recognize your favorite voice actors when you pay attention rather than like, the way you can recognize weird all or Patrick Warburton bc when they do voices for stuff they are basically just themselves.
"Welcome to my SWAMP!" said in the same way as a Smiling Friends character

I think this is a case of people not noticing the difference audio recording devices can make on how someone's voice sounds. The in game recordings sound way more clear than Vinny's usual stream mic
