For everyone wanting to know I just bought mine and had it received today the audio that comes through it isn’t terrible but does not transmit very well the range isn’t all that good it’s farther than 200 feet which is more power than what the FCC legally allows you to have without a license and I have a base station antenna that I’m using it with it still is kind of fun though
There’s a lot of pirate radio stations in London and Manchester, it’s mostly the ravers and the black, Turkish and Asian communities these days. You can take a leaf from their books if you want to test it. This video is very informative and well written.
Hey, just to make sure nobody breaks is radio, you must plug the antenna before plugin the power, cause if you try it without antenna you'll grill the emitter. Look for the "ohm" the number of ohms of you antenna have to match the one of you emitter. And if you have to ad an adaptor it will make the total length of your antenna bigger so it will change the tunning of it so the ohms, be aware of it.
Alot of things to consider for airing or broadcasting. Understand swr and other things for radio bad swr will destroy the transmitter. Learn wave length and antenna measurements so the transmitter will be prolonged its life

Could you please tell me ....with this telescope antena how long i would able to run transmitter continuously? Someone told me if I use more than 30 minutes with telescoping antenna, the transmitter would burn. Please tell me about it. Is your transmitter still working or not?
In open space signals travels good but in crowded streets buildings have absorbed signals ,specially all metallic things weakened the signals so the quality and range is reduced.

I have a degree in radio and television and do have an FCC license and have worked in both real-world radio and internet radio. Make sure what you're doing is legal. It's not worth the penalty.
I bought one of these transmitters a couple of years ago. Maybe it was the luck of the draw, but absolute garbage does not begin to describe the output. Staticy and almost no range at all. Get something much better if you can afford it.

Yes it can go upto 3km easily just get a good antenna and a cooler to keep that radio station cool
