    This is really cool! Although as a native English speaker some of these phrases are more reserved for writing/essays as they can seem a bit weird/formal if spoken. I mean you can still say them and people will understand you, but it wouldn't be as natural sounding. Native speakers say I think all the time! Maybe these would be good in a business lecture but not so much casually with your friends/family :)

    Yes, you have provided us with a great variety of phrases that we can use in our daily conversation with foreigners, but many of those are actually used in written English, not in spoken English. When you speak English, you seldom say "From my point of view" to replace "I think" because the former phrase sounds too formal and unnatural. Foreigners do say "I think" all the time. It's only second language learners who are so concerned about the VARIETY of sentence structures and are afraid that one day they'll be laughed at not using a variety of phrases. Foreigners tend not to give a damn care about what phrases / if there's any variety of sentence structures they use. They only care about whether the words speak their mind. That's it.

      @jjbuzz9230 Před rokem

      For English as a second language speakers, not being able to construct a VARIETY of sentence structures is commonplace and impediment to express FREELY and PRECISELY. The problem is, native speakers do not know this struggle of ESL speakers, whereas beginner ESL speakers think having a variety to their commonly used sentences will increase their fluency. In my opinion, the HALLMARK of fluency is to be able to express anything easily, exactly (in the way they want), and be able to show personality. Obviously this type of video only helps really beginner ESL speakers, I don't know if there's any method to quickly advance someone to a native level, other than just absorbing a lot of variety of English speaking through Reading and listening. 🥲

    這樣說吧,I thought 是「我以為」,他是針對已經發生的事的「認知」,而不是一種看法,I think 則是 I thought 的現在式,他不是用來讓你表示意見,而是用來表達認知的,這並不是可以隨意取代的用法,例如 I think he is a ladyboy,(我認為他是個人妖)這已經是最正確的用法,而且不能用 In my opinion 或是 The way I see it 之類的用法來替代,做替代用法的教學,竊以為也必須要連「不能替代」的情況講出來會更好。

    I feel like it is weird to say "starting right now". Instead of starting right now, what I will say is "Let's get started". "In my opinion" is seldom used I think? And I seldom hear people say "my impression is that...". Well, "I think" and "I feel" are fine in daily conversations, but if you write academic essays, I would suggest you to eliminate the subjects. Instead of saying "I think", "I suggest that", what I will say is "It shows", or the "the given data depicts that", etc.

    If you ask me, my favorite subject is English. From my point of view, learning English is a good way to kill time. As far as I'm concerned, learning Spanish is more useful than learning German. In my view, astrology can help you start a conversation. I am of the opinion that Jamaica dumpling is the best dish in the world. A lot of people are good at math in Taiwan, but I would say it's not that easy. I suppose everyone likes to take a vacation, but I am not sure. It seems to me that people like the holiday because they want to watch three seasons of their favorite tv program on one sitting. In my impression is that people in a western culture like to go on a picnic. The way I see it, we should enjoy our life rather than work overtime.
