I have been using the T-Mobile gateway for over a year dedicated to my RV as I travel all over the southwest with excellent speeds. I only pay $30 per month. T-Mobile claims they will be shutting down the RV's and truckers that roam the country with their gateway. So far so good.
@EarlBalentine great price! Yeah satisfied so far. Fingers crossed they don't stop it because it is nice to be able to move around with the internet without being bound to one location.
It's people like that break the terms of service and the rest of us have to flip the bill. I'm glad to see the away plan and the cracking down on Internet Hogs. 160 is ok but should be higher for these guys. @ronb6182 yeah luckily there are plans that are for traveling. Starlink is a good option. I'm pretty stationary right now for work so pulling these speeds for remote work is a game changer. Thanks for the comment Ron, hope prices get better.

But these guys using over 100 gigs get away with paying only 30 a month which is the major cause of tower congestion. Well when I move I will have cable internet which is 30 a month and no throttling. Also free wifi all over the country. 73
I have a friend with an RV who has been using the T-Mobile Home Internet service for ~2 years now. Initially they suffered the same issues as you appear to be having with Verizon but now his service is significantly improved. This is in the Central Florida area so of course the results can vary wildly based on location.
@WilkieBarth not sure in my case since I'm in an rv. But I know with the home internet you get from tmobile there is an upgrade package that comes with like a range booster you put at a farther part in your house and it extends the range. That might be a good alternative/addition.

@hilo2-est3-elev yeah, it's tough to figure out because location plays such a big part. If you're really remote I've heard starlink is a better option, but it's going to cost you a lot more at the start for the equipment. So it's a trade off. Best you can do is check the signal strength for each provider and see what you come up with.
I’ve had Verizon and T-Mobile home internet Verizon is the best by far!! I’m currently using Att internet air and it’s the equivalent to Verizon home internet I’m loving my Att internet air!!!
Good video Thanks. I have T-Mobile & pay $60 month with Auto Pay. My Router stays on 3 bars & some times 2 bars when busy Wifi. I hate the buffering I get from watching CZcams videos. What causes that to happen. I have 100 GB Data, do not have their cell service. Thinking about AT&T fiber for consistency to end Buffering & low wifi competing with others. I did put my own Ethernet cable on the Router which maybe why 3 bars stay somewhat consistent until others jump on wifi. Any thought on Fiber (AT&T)?
@MacCurtisHolisticHealthTalk I am sure any fiber service is going to deliver better speed sor consistency since tmobile is mobile interent and is using the cell network which is subject to busy times. If you go that route please comment back and let me know results!
We have Verizon the small box cube one and boy it very slow and we have to be reset every other week are speed at night is 5 or 6 so im not sure what going on..
@tonibrockman1442 yeah very weird. My Verizon was stable connecting but the speeds just seemed to drop over the months. Maybe test out something like tmobile or at&t. I know many of these have like money back and easy return with X days of getting them. I was thinking about trying out at&t so I could try it out and maybe review it. :)
@@JamesUnveiled yeah that were at the point we're at in change to another provider like tmobile cause Verizon has not been good to use at all and let me tell the streaming is awful good at time but evening times come it buffer a lot and get a pop up when the network is very congestion your video will not play smoothly and times kick us out so it been a pain and we have the 5ghome plus so maybe are area not strong enough to get that speed ..
@MakeupMarketingMaven hey thanks for the comment. With verizon I average around 30-40 mbps download speed these days. When first getting the device it was around 50-60 mbps. As for tmobile I average around 280-305 mbps download throughout the day, with higher numbers in the late evening. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Are these devices dependent on the same towers as cell phones? So, if I have a great signal strength with my Verizon or T-Mobile phone, I should expect the same with these devices?
To my understanding they use the same towers. So if you're getting good speeds on your phone for either tmobile or Verizon you should expect your gateway to get good speeds as well. You can’t port forward with T-Mobile or put the gateway into bridge mode, so you can’t host certain services.
Any comments on the range? Will either be enough for two floor townhouse or something like that?

Home Internet here is ECT get about almost 700 download speed and upload at 52

In india we have jio airfiber and i am getting 100mbps download and 70-80 mbps upload just for 13 dollars (1050rs)

I know the T-Mobile router has carrier aggregation, it uses LTE 4G and 5G bands giving you faster speeds than your phone
