I'm 60 years old and remember when microfiche was introduced in libraries and was used side-by-side with the card catalogue. Later to be replaced by a PC catalogue which was a job I had in the 1990's and introduced barcode scanning for borrowing. We even had librarians who actually were helpful!
The campus is coming along very nicely. I love the freedom you have when it comes to building and not being limited to inside the building . The more of your videos I watch the more I want to play it

The machine uses optics and a screen to zoom the images to a larger size so you can read them. There are knobs to scroll around to find the image(s)/page(s) of interest. Note that microfiche is a flat sheet of images, a planar medium, so you can scroll all four directions of the compass. Being flat also makes it really easy to store in filing cabinets. There is also microfilm, which is almost the same thing but is a linear medium, so you can only scroll forward or backward through a long roll of film. And being a roll of film kept in a canister when not in use, long term storage of it is a bit different.
A great example is in the newest series of stranger things, Nancy & Robin use this in the library. It was fairly common for libraries to still have them into the 00's, a great way store the library index and book locations.

Yeah. I would like to see diminishing returns. But ultimately leaving it allows people to play how they want. I take the option to not spam items, but it's an option for peeps who wish to spam, I guess. Best of both worlds that way. TPS can't lose if everyone gets to play how they wish.
Agreed! But as Blarla pointed out, it's kinda a funny and silly gaffe to just "game the system"! I do enjoy those types of gamers too and in certain situations, especially in TPH I just wanted to be DONE and have my 3 star GP act like a 5 star one! Hopefully with all the complexities I see here, it's not just one thing to look out for and I am DOWN for it!

Hey, extremely excited for Two Point Campus, loving the videos! I wanted to ask, could I, theoretically have 1 bed for each student? I personally don't like the idea of having 5 students per bed. I don't know why but I'd really like to have 1 student per tiny personal room or maybe 2-person rooms. Would that be feasible? Would the students actually get all assigned to different beds if I had enough beds for that? Would it be too impractical space-wise?

Filtering staff by skills is a great idea. Would probably be overkill for Hospital, but here it seems like a useful feature. I love the design of the kiosks. Maybe I just really like oversized food items and beverages...

so... i have a question... do you still need to complete the entirety of the campaign to unlock all the items/rooms for sandbox? because i HATED that in 2 point hospital... i just wanted to make my own hospital and i couldn't without having to complete the entire campaign first.... and then i kinda got stuck on the one campaign level where you didn't get paid from patients(the one where you only earned grant money and no patient income) and gave up...

I'm a little confused about the 8 student capacity... if it's only eight students per class, does this mean the other students won't be taught? or how does that work? sorry if you already answered!
You would need to build more classrooms and employ more staff to teach them is what would happen. So if you took on 10 students, they would be split into two groups that needed teaching. This is why I keep it at 8, at least for the first run through of the years a course lasts. I find it easier to manage, to slowly build money, to be careful of the space. After that, I may expand to more student per year, but I would most likely go up in increments of 8, just to keep everything even. But you really don't need to, the game tells you what you need each summer, to make sure every student has their classes the following year. I hope that makes sense. XD

You get course points for levelling the campus, I would presume that if I have more course points, then I must have been levelling the campus too, is that number higher? I don't recall cutting much (if anything) out of the videos that early on, so anything I earned should have been seen.
