So many fans are hating on these "mainstream songs". Well I don't care what type of song they sing. I love each and everyone of The Fray's songs and Love Don't Die and Hurricane are no exceptions. I'm forever a The Fray fan :) Keep up the great work guys!
I wouldn't class them people as fans personally. Like you said us real fans shouldn't care. As long as The Fray make new songs I'll always be happy. A band of people i can actually respect. Who clearly spend time making each song and put a lot of thought into it. It's great being able to listen to their music without it all being overly sexual and about drugs like 95% of the current chart toppers. I've pre-ordered their album. And it can be placed in rotation on my stereo with all their other albums :)

MonteBSparto i'm not blindly liking their music. I listen to their songs and grow to love them. I love the sound that the fray has though. Please i'm a big music person and everyone has a right to not like some songs by artists they like but none of this hipster bs. I personally am glad the fray is experimenting
I hope the Fray come back to Australia soon. When they came back in 2008 I couldn't go to the concert coz my mum was sick. Please come back guys your music got me through a very rough time back then and still hold me together to this very day xxxx
I feel like in every single song, everything is perfectly fitting together... Like the lyrics just go accordingly to the music. They just give you the perfect feeling in every song.

I love The Fray, but hope they don't take the mainstream pathway like Coldplay did with Mylo Xyloto. Having said that, Coldplay showed a bit of their past with their latest Atlas tune.
Coldplay didn't take the "mainstream pathway." I mean, why wouldn't they change it up a bit with Mylo Xyloto? Just because they created an album with upbeat songs doesn't mean that they tried to take the mainstream approach.

Mylo Xyloto is not Coldplay being mainstream, just being themselves like they did since Viva La Vida. Guy Berryman said in an interview "With X&Y we did the album the people expect from us. We learn of that mistake and in this album (VLVADAAHF) we did what we feel we want to do". The same happened with MX, they did what they wanted to do.

I am so excited about The Fray's new album release! It's been way too long! The Fray has been one of my favorite bands since I heard How to Save A Life on Grey's Anatomy.back in 2006.
I'll love The Fray unconditionally, but I must confess their sound has changed so much in this upcoming album and the last, but I still don't know how to feel about it :/ However, "Wherever This Goes" is a great one from there new album though! I can't wait until the 25th too discover all that remains :)
For people who say its to mainstream and different. Bands like he fray and one republic. Change musical style because they want to. People evolve so music should too. :)
