does nobody take into account corridor has bean using those nerf guns for years so the spring are worn out but the x-shots are brand new?

I don't think it matters, I have a Rival, a Nerf 'Revolver' (as I call it) and as close to their counter parts in X-shots as I can find. The X-shots hump Nerf in most situations and are cheaper. Not to mention I've yet to have the X-shots jam on me, while my Rival enjoys double-feeding or not feeding at all (across multiple mags).

X shot actually sucks pretty bad, they break so easily. Misfire more often. They shoot similar distances to *outdated* nerf guns, plus they have much less variety compared to nerf. But for their price you get what you pay for, but same with nerf

You're right. I've done some of these tests before and newer nerf wins 90% of the time(not to mention xshot is less durable)

No that raider is a newer one that are like refurbished if u will. Also the raider shoots best out of most nerf elite blasters!
@@detailingnerd6853 the raider is n strike and uses a reverse plunger compared to the rampage(the elite succesor) which uses a larger derict plunger not to mention the inevitable spring wear from a over 10 year old blaster

You’re using a nerf Raider from 2009, a Maverick from 2005, and a Reflex from 2008 that you’ve used for a long time and worn out the springs vs brand new x-shot guns that came out recently and have all the new technology, plus the springs aren’t worn out.

Snake 123 accustrike doesn’t shoot further. Usually it’s worse since rlly long barrels reduce range because of dart bouncing around, the accustrike dart is also heavier so is falls earlier
As someone from the nerf hobby (yes it’s a thing, we even have a subreddit) who ALSO use blasters from both nerf and Xshot, i can easily say that alot of the Xshot blasters (also going by the Adventure Force brand name through Walmart) are superior to the nerf counter parts, BUT this video was also a bit of an unfair comparison as some older, weaker, and out dated blasters were used against the xshot conterparts (such as the raider, which should have been opted out over it’s more modernized predecessor, the rampage, to be a bit more fair). Also, the darts can have a very significant effect on preformence as well. Sorry for the quite long winded comment, but other than the criticism above, this was a rather well conducted test for simple comparison and a great way to spread the word about other wonderful brands!
Yes, I agree. I also think that the darts do make a difference because of the shorter style of the X-shot. The main reason I don't use X-shot is because of how the X-shot darts are terrible in normal Nerf blasters. Maybe someday I'll buy some X-shot, but since I main Nerf, I don't want to mess with different not cross compatible darts.

You’re not making it fair for nerf, each gun you used is older with more compressed springs while most or all of the xshot guns are brand new.
And the old reverse plunger system is honestly trash compared to what Nerf use now

Why would you use old Nstrike Nerf blasters to compare against brand new Xshot blasters? The Maverick and Raider are both ancient, you should have at least used their newer Elite counterparts the Strongarm and the Rampage. I will admit that Xshot is a great budget option and they are competitive with Nerf in performance but the range comparison was not really fair. Just my two cents.

Do they have anything related to the Nerf Rival line though? I personally hate the "normal" Nerf guns that fire the darts, but I really like the Rival line as an alternative to Airsoft that you can play indoors.
The Rival guns are built for adult sized hands, they're extremely sturdy, the ammo is compact, and while they shoot hard enough to feel and call a hit, they don't shoot hard enough to crack windows and monitors like Airsoft guns. They're really good for snowy days when you're having a LAN party with your buds and you don't feel like freezing your balls off outside.

If you want to get serious, use stefan (half length nerf darts). Most serious nerf guns that fire at 130 fps & over are usually stefan. but you have to invest time into it if you want to get in the hobby
That's just the thing, the Rival guns are "plug and play", for lack of a better way to put it. I don't really want to get into Nerf guns as a hobby, I just use them as an alternative to Airsoft while indoors, when Airsoft is otherwise not able to be played.
The Rival guns are perfect for that because of their convenience. No fiddling or modding necessary

I love how they clearly had the Nerf Rival Artemis, Helios, and Zeus but completely avoided them because they knew that they would absolutely destroy the X-Shots in every way.

3:05, The swarm seeker is actually clip fed not mag fed. Mag fed means the mag does all the work to propel the darts and fire them.
The clip holds the bullets but the gun does all the work to propel the darts. True fact from coop772

You can check Coop772's reviews since they all have chrono measures. My guess is that Nerf's muzzle speed standards are lower (70fps). You know, they are different brands and of course you can expect construction differences.
I'd like to say something.. the first spring blaster vs was NOT an efficient one. You're comparing a Raider, which is a very old Nerf blaster with probably a weakened spring over time with a modern X-Shot blaster which has a newer, more tight spring.. Same for your Maverick vs Swarm Seeker. Should've taken a Nerf Disruptor for the comparison.. Also, what the heck are you doing comparing the Reflex (a reverse plunger mechanism which is old) with a powerful direct plunger X-Shot blaster.. Should've compared something like the Firestrike for that.. This seems biased.. Just putting my views out. thanks

Oh and I would like to add the darts they are using are unfair to the nerf brand. They should be using the same dart so that it is fair to both brands. The nerf darts is far less accurate than the x shot darts.

That looks like an original Raider, meaning it has a reverse plunger tube. Those have less power than direct plunger(by as much as 3kg). Comparing it to an X-Shot with a direct plunger isn’t a fair comparison

I had a nerf micron years ago, I had no idea it was called that and it came with weird nerf darts that were garbage. I have no idea how they managed to get it to shoot past 10 feet.

You are biased because you are using a nerf gun from 2009 to 2011 but an x shot gun from 2018 or 17
well... the methods in this "test" might need some upgrade... Just that you can actually compare the results against each other, and stop measuring which one of you can shoot more accurate. Just mount the blasters onto a tripod or something. Step up your science game! Create reproducible setups and gather unbiased data. Anyway, very fun to watch.
Testing accuracy with stock darts and without a scar barrel is completely pointless, it's not on behalf of the blaster it's the darts, there very Un-aerodynamic
Well the first test was bias. You used a nerf pre elite blaster. If you used the rampage you would've had different results

I know Nerf has been using air regulators to limit the "power" for safety reasons. I wonder if Xshot is as regulated or if they allow more air behind the dart.

I've used a bunch of various dart-throwers in LARPs over the years. The Maverick is prone to jam if you use it for an extended length of time. There's a joke that you're better off throwing the thing at someone, than getting to to sling foam.
A SciFi LARP i staffed for had dart and Rival, but toward the end of the run it was 90% Rival; those suckers have great range, and still pack a bit of a sting (so you can feel it through clothing or armor and tell you've been hit).
Will have to check out the X-Shot line.
There are tons of 3D printed X shot Micro reshells that i would love to see you guys build. Could do a whole nerf war with just reshelled Micros

Y'know, for being a lawyer, Jake has the worst calls in competitions.

I've seen every crew video, and for the past few months I've been rewatching them all in chronological order again. I think this is my favourite one. When CMike and Nick and chatting to each other and it kinda breaks the 4th wall in a super unique way, it's just the best moment ever. I love the vfx artists react videos but I hope this genuine, creative style of video continues to get the time and effort it rightfully earns for years to come. You guys have always been and always will be the best youtube creators!
I get yall are getting money off this and have to make the products look good but like it was pretty blatantly obvious you stacked everything in Xshot's favor like from which guns you chose to compare to the way you spoke about and used them. But I understand the artist grind and yall gotta make that bread so it doesn't really bother me tbh
In my perception it was more on lack of full understanding, which isn't a jab on the slightest just me giving them the benefit, in all honesty x-shots products are very comparable and in some cases better, there are comparisons and reviews around that support this and give more objective results, using numbers and general data, I'd suggest watching coop772's reviews if you're genuinely interested in the topics.

Most of the Nerf guns used are almost 5 to 10 years old nowadays, X-Shot wasn't a viable company untill a couple years ago. This is an unfair comparison
Dart design plays a HUGE role in accuracy. A good example is Gen 3 little Valentines. They work with any standard Nerf blaster, however they increase accuracy by ALOT. Range is mostly the power of the blaster, but has a little to do with the dart as well, nippleheads (think standard Nerf darts) have more range then Waffleheads (Think accustrike darts or the aforementioned Little Valentines).

i have some x-shots also i once reassembled one and found out they are air powered kinda cause they push the dart with air and nerf's or do it by the motors (and 2 wheels on those) which basically dont push the dart through the whole barrel but only at one point
