Of all the nerf guns my brother and I own, our jolt has the longest range. Especially because you can really put your arm into it when shooting

Technically they did balance it fairly well. Nerf had Rivals which are superior, but X-Shot had the advantage of capacity.

reminds me of a airsoft game i used to play at my old field (since then I've moved). its called chaos it starts as either free for all or two man teams and every time you get shot you take a knee. you join the team of the first person who tags you(can even be your old teammates as a sort of pseudo healing system). We always played it towards the end of the day so me with my electric dmr usually wouldn't have any batteries left so id run around taking a "medic" role with my pistol making for some fun times and conversations with the enemy teams. I think it would make for a great thing to maybe play on node.

From the moment the video started and I heard the music from "Art of the Instakill", I knew this was gonna be good. It's my favorite piece of music out of all of your videos. Legitimately made me so happy to hear it unexpectedly.
This looks awesome. We played a similar gametype in Airsoft for my bachelor party, but everyone started on their own team. If you got shot you took a knee and to convert someone to your team you had to tag them while they are down. It was a lot of chaos and a ton of fun!
You guys should make a WWI short film on Corridor
Corridor is what inspired me to start taking courses to learn how to make short films and animate! Love the channel!
Way back when I played airsoft, we came up with a similar game mode. Our game started off as a free for all. When you got hit, you'd wait to get tagged by whoever to join up with their team. The goal was the same though; have everyone end up on the same team by the end. Loved that game mode, and I loved watching this play out. Great video, fellas
7:30 to 7:45 is probably my favorite Corridor Crew moment to date. It's so real. C-Mike and Nick just chopping it up in the lull of the blaster chaos.

UMBC's HvZ club has been doing something like this for a bit already, except that we use bandannas to keep track of teams (headband vs armbands) and tagged players take a knee and raise their hand, the team of whomever tags that hand is the one that the tagged player joins.

Josh Walker X shot apparently had them take down the video yesterday and they had to edit the part/parts they didn't want in. They wouldn't let Nerf win on a sponsored video.

Probably a release schedule for CZcams algorithm reasons. I watched it all with constant refreshes in the YT app yesterday.
I'd say that X-Shot wanted them to change something in the video that they were not happy with. I doubt it was the algorithm as this is just an ad after all where corridor need to meet with the clients brief and X-Shot might have just gotten a little picky when it came to the video.

My friends and I played a really similar game called infection, where TONS of kids would all run from one person, who was infected. If you get tagged by him, you join their team until one person is left, and it's super fun, especially with a ton of people

Yes you may want it to more fair by both having spring. But where’s the alpha trooper, or many other amazing spring nerf guns.
Yes I enjoyed the video, but it was obviously scripted to make nerf look bad, and x-shot look good. From exclaiming jams from the nerf guns (which shouldn’t happen much if you actually use the good nerf guns), to saying how accurate the x-shot blasters were, even though rival nerf guns (the ones you used) are much more powerful/accurate than any other foam blaster. I don’t blame you for doing this though, your a filming studio and you got a sponsorship. Of course you’d find a way to make them look worth while.

first of all, what this shows me is that "it's over Anakin... I have the highground", while it may not apply so well to jedi who have telekinesis and instakill laser swords, it most certainly DOES apply to slow-moving foam projectiles

My paintball team does something similar to this for practice.
Everyone is on their own team. If you get shot you respawn where you started and join the person who shot you. The game can start at all v all, change to all v 1, then quickly change to a different balance. It can last anywhere from a few minutes to an hour depending on how good everyone is.

I’ve played a similar game to this before with friends using archery tag. We call it “Pac-Man”. But instead of it being 2 teams, it begins as a free-for-all. Whoever you kill you have to get to them and count to 10 to claim them as part of your team. Game ends when there’s only one team left

1:42 from someone who NERFS and plays airsoft WAY TOO MUCH, this is a good idea. Issue is some people do it but never pay attention to the colours so it becomes useless and more of a signal to opponent teams or players.
You should do this but with safety glasses and yellow vests. Like construction workers for one team, easily throw em on or off and keep it on you, also I'd love to see a video about how to mod guns I know they come almost restrained from the factory
