Decent shooters should be able to benifit from that (and Giannis had substantially higher assist in the Miami series). I would further add, that the best teams today don't have particular good defences anyways. I am sure the Nets, Hawks and Suns would have loved to defend better against Giannis, but they couldn't or it was not worth it because changing your offensive weapons for good defenders would harm more than it would help. So in total I would argue that the value proposition is pretty good for Giannis.

That series wasn't guaranteed either way. Trae stepped on the ref but that was later equalized by Giannis's hyperextended knee. The Suns had no major injuries for the Finals.
