The Active info Display is a nice feature, but not a must. The central display for the Ateca is high enough for the driver to see it easily. For other VW models this "cluster-display" is really good, especially if you have the navigation option on the car.

I really like the new digital instrument cluster. I have just ordered a UK spec Ateca for delivery in May 2018 and hoping Seat can find a way to let me add this option to my order.

Will there be an special layout/view for the Cupra model? I think there are special layouts in the VC's for the Audi S models.

Thanks Seat for integrating a digital cockpit that can actually let you choose to still have those analogue dials if you want to.
what are these vents under the drivers seat? additional ac vents? my leon fr doesn't have that. very beautiful car, but FWD is a letdown.
The external trim parts look like cheap after market parts. Alcantara steering wheel and the instrument cluster background is nice!

Thomas, do you if the cng engines will, or can have a higher hp-output, as well as torque-output?Because, if they can, and the cost does not incrementally increase at a steady linear rate, compared to the diesel one's, then I would personally pick them, since it would have greater power and greater economy compared again to diesel one's.
Additionally, if you can, make a video about cng engines, their future-expected future, and I fthey can have a higher power output!!!!Thanks!!!!

The cupra r should have at least 350 hp its pointless it having an extra 10 or so hp. They wont ever give the cupra r more than 310 hp because of the simple fact of the golf r. The cupra r cant have more power than the golf r with seat been a cheaper made version of vw

Hi bzgl. der parallelen Navigation auf beiden Bildschirmen. Benötigt man im Seat Leon ST hierzu das Navi+ oder ist auch das normale Navi ausreichend?
Gute Frage. Ich würde jetzt mal davon ausgehen, dass es funktioniert, wenn man die digitalen Instrumente hat. Möglicherweise sind die digitalen Instrumente aber an das höhere Navi geknüpft?
Die Konfiguration des VC funktioniert zumindest mit beiden Naviarten. Ich werd mal schauen ob ich diesbezüglich vllt. noch was rausbekomme
Ah ok. Ich kann mir schwer vorstellen, dass die digitalen Instrumente von zwei unterschiedlichen Prozessoren angesteuert werden, das müsste dann egtl. derselbe sein

No i havn't got any new informations
Is the "cupra R" always the final version?
It's the final performance version but there could be specification changes for the fr and normal versions to get rid of stock.

I'm in the process of ordering a cupra 300, delivery would be in march 2018, so I'm wondering if i should wait a bit for the digital cockpit. Do they plan to make available for order at the beginning of 2018, or actually start delivering at this date?
The Ateca gets it first, so I guess you would still have to wait a bit

It's not on the UK configurator yet but is now available in the latest brochure dated November 2017. It also states that it is a standard option "Cupra only".
Why is the Cupra R limited? 😱The carbon elements fit perfectly to the progressive exterior of the Leon Cupra. 👌😍
In my opinion Seat´s design of the virtual cockpit is the best one. Finally Seat gets this important feature. 👍
In my opinion the TGI is an interesting alternative for the TDI version! It was definitely a good decision of the VW group to invest much money for this technology in the future, because everyone talks only about the electro engine!

Thomas, I ordered an Ateca two weeks ago and they told me I would have to wait at least 6 months for it to be built, so apparently it will be built in 2018 but no mention of digital dashboard. Do they mean a digital dashboard can be ordered in 2018 or it will get integrated in cars built in 2018? Wondering if I should cancel the order and reorder with digital dashboard. Do you think that would be worth it?

It's going to be equipped on cupras built after the 2nd week of 2018, yours should be in production in February or march so you should be fine. Apparently it's standard in some countries and an extra option in others

As a Cupra R this is dissapointing.... It's a gimmick to get a 799 boost in sales. Where the car actually only had 10hp more via a remap and has no realworld performance advantages and no 4wd option... Not sure if it's worth it?

This is probably because a more powered version would defeat the Golf R, if it doesn't do it already. The Golf GTI clubsport S has also 310 PS, so it seems that they don't currently want to go beyond the 310 limit.

Rs3 cost 55k euro! Seat cost around half of this price
RS3 is 51k EUR on mobile. This one, as far as I've heard is around 48-49k and not 43-44k as the guy from SEAT said. Don't get me wrong, I love SEAT but I think this one is too expensive.
