The circumcision convo was so frustrating. Itâs an unnecessary surgery that causes sensation to be significantly decreased. It should only be done on consenting adults or in medical emergencies. That guy calling the natural body dirty was so uninformed.

@bryansmith915 to the best of my knowledge (and horror) they don't use sedation on babies. At all. But you'd think for a child of 7.... there'd be some sedation there.

I kinda wish circumcision/genital mutilation was taken more seriously. If we know all genitals are the same structures that developed differently, then cutting body parts off of any non-consenting newborn is extremely messed up regardless of the assigned gender at birth.

the way a lot of these people talked about mental health and therapy as if it is something that only affects a select few of us was strange to me. Everyone has experience trauma on some sort of level and everyone regardless of the level of trauma theyâve experienced can benefit from therapy. Normalize mental health and therapy as something that relates to all of us!
