So after pulling my hair out for the best part of a month, I can start growing my hair back again after finding your video. So happy, this works beautifully, thanks!
Good day. Thanks for the video. I have followed the steps but it is still not working. Only works in the test workflow function. Please advise what I could be doing wrong? Steps applied: 1.Changed all the connections to the service account 2. Made sure the account had access to the sharepoint list 3. Applied the script provided but changed to my service account address. 4. Logged in as my user and made an update. In the version history I can see I have made the update but the workflow does not kick off. 5. Clicked on test work and it works. When I go back to version history I see the service account made the update. 6. When I remove the script then the workflow works from the sharepoint update but then goes into the loop.
is there any other way to avoid these infinite loops without this user creation option? I'm supporting a client where that isn't an option to create a user account just for this.

I'm considering this.. but I have other flows that update objects so I'd need multiple different users or something to solve
Should have but did not work for me at all
Thank you!!
but if we do on developer environments then how we can do? In developer Environments Manage Connections feature is disabled.
Any solution?
Just curious, Can an unlicensed service user run power automate?

I have a similar situation, I am working on a flow with my company account and have no option to even access Admin. Did you find any solution for it?
what happens if the powerautomateuser created the item in my list. it will fire the event or not?
If you have set the trigger condition correctly, then the automate will not fire.
