Cameron is so hardworking, all the years of filming and efforts was really worth it, it really paid off and Avatar is one of the biggest movie ever made
Watching behind the scenes vids like these really helps me appreciate how hard and time consuming acting really is. I would hate to screw up in one of James Cameron's takes lol
Avatar was revolutionary. It's still fascinating to watch even now because of visuals especially Photorealistic scenes! It's a movie that changed perception of cinema! This Work is Masterpiece and Extraordinary. Awaiting Avatar 2...
I think the thing I love most about the filming of avatar is that the Director of the film isn’t just standing back, saying action and cut. He’s actually getting in there, getting shots and filming stuff.
I love watching these behind the scenes videos. To me, watching the process behind the camera is almost as enjoyable as watching the finished movie itself.
Really shows how much work and dedication and what large teams of professionals stands behind Hollywood's biggest sci-fi movies. Even if you don't like the movie itself, you have to learn and watch to see what it takes.
You can tell there seems to be a lot of scene that were deleted from the final film. Some of which seems to actually make the film's story line a bit different. I hope to see this on the special edition blu-ray/dvd this holiday.
The scene where the battle force is leaving to attack Hometree Parker is in a state. I guess the scene where Quaritch threatens Selfridge would be immediately before that. It is hard to see why Selfridge would have wanted to rein in Quaritch, unless he somehow realised just what he was like. It would probably appear a little odd, when we know already that Selfridge only cared about the bottom line. I wondered why the attack on the Command Centre was not in the theatre release. It does explain why Hell's Gate doesn't put up any resistance. Where that cut scene would fit I do not know. At a guess i'd say after the attack on Vitraya Ramunon goes FUBAR when the Pandoran wildlife attack the RDA forces & before we see the expulsion. The line is watched by avatar drivers and Na'vi warriors. I assume that armed avatars would have been put into that scene as it was digitally rendered. I don't know what the plot of the sequel is gonna be like. I hope Norm Spellman gets a break: The character of Norm wasn't entirely 100% geek. He punches one of the RDA grunts & takes part in a frickin cavalry charge. I hope that we do see something of Dr Augustine. Her and Tsu'tey would have made a happy couple as both cared passionately about the future of the Omatacaya.
