What was going on?

Could a Vulcan machine gun or guns clear paths through minefields. They have limited ammo...but from above or an angle they could give a spread pattern. maybe. Minefields are a tough nut to crack. Some are deep. But most are laid shallow and in haste....miles of them. Depends on the fuses. And Time. Like Rocks..some eventually get pushed to the surface.. expansion and contracting. They go off in winter sometimes. 30x30 Vulcans could throw alot of lead from 10,000 feet. Imagine.

Even a mock up. A dozen tubes...with bright red muzzles. Sitting in an airfield in Taiwan...mounted on a large plane ...sure to catch someone's eye. WHAT THE HELL is That. Just a Test.

Another good story concerning a bunker in Africa i believe. The bunker was thick.. However the suggestion by the weapons officer was to bounce the 105mm off the concrete entrance.. hitting the door Crack Shots. They had to line it up. AND....Boom,....KA BOOM! Secondary explosions. BINGO! Returning to Base. There was something nasty in that Bunker. Very Nasty!

The title of the video is confusing. Maybe it should be 'British soldiers of the Irish Guards regiment.........' Yes they're the same soldiers you see outside Buckingham Palace. Plus many of those soldiers are actually Irish. The British army still recruit from both parts of Ireland.

I took my family to this. Water jump many times in the 90’s. We watched them jump every month at Stringer Drop Zone close to our home in Northeast Georgia, Hall County! Our Hero’s Blessings for Them🙏🏻

Addressing the elephant in the room, we need to see in-depth training on how to utilize and counter drone warfare. All those pretty little O-groups clustered in formations in woods around maps are meaningless if the enemy force can drop a couple drones on it. I really hope doctrine is being developed on the lessons being learned in the Ukraine war. We need to learn. We need to adopt and adapt EW atxthe small unit level to the changing battlefield.... or were just waiting our time.

The Army needs to find a replacement for OCP, and FAST! It's a horrible choice of camouflage for the coming war operations in Europe! It's too brown, and NOT in a dark brown/green color scheme.

I served with the 101st during early GWOT as an infantryman. One of the most bad ass infantry companies I seen was the 2 companies the 101st aviation regiment had. 4-101 Pathfinders Airborne Rangers. They're not apart of Ranger regiment, they're genesis was really during Vietnam War. When they formed LRRPS, now they're called LRSD. Long Range Surveillance Detachment. Those were some of the baddest dudes I served with in the conventional Army.

How they become warriors is the greatest! I don't know what happened to me being a O and I lived with it for 83 years.
