He's so smooth and relax 🇯🇲. YAH 🙏🏽, bless and keep him healthy.
He’s not smooth. He runs tight and jerky. He’s not so fast out of his own country 🤣😂
@andrewmotowski2976 man yall are some haters, just a little research would show you that he al ready ran 9.8's outside of Jamaica
@@Eastsidecrime gotta love casuals
@@andrewmotowski2976 He literally ran 9.8 last season in Europe 😂 and he hasn’t ran that many 100m in his career
@andrewmotowski2976 as a yard man this humbre is fast as light but far from smooth. Look at asafa then watch back Thomson then compare
This guy is something NEW. Mark my words
That is raw power! He has even more room to improve with his technique and upper body movement. He is going to be lethal!!! 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Very impressive on my perspective for only his 4th race of the season. Jamaica has found another one 🇯🇲 .
Another 3 potentially.
All 3 who qualified from Jamaica, ran sub 9.8, sub 9.9 and sub 10 in the finals and all are 23 or younger.
Which means that barring injury, Jamaica has once again refreshed its pool of male sprinters. It took a minute, but there is lot of upcoming potential (male and female) from the sprint capital
@@demarbrown439difference is Blake has peaked. Oblique and Thompson can improve
@@neikomccalla2623 How you know he has peaked? He may get faster and ran a pb at the Olympics. He is also the reigning indoors bronze medallist this year behind Coleman and Lyles and Coleman didnt make the US team
legend on the way
I am Kenyan and I can tell you that no other athlete is sprinting 100m better than Kishane Thompson. I root for him to win gold at the Olympics in Paris. He deserves it. He was just jogging towards the end of this race. He is in 9.7 shape if not better. Hopefully he can better Yohan Blake's and Tyson Gay's 9.69.
Why does it matter if you’re Kenyan
We Jamaicans receive that support my Kenyan brother. Kishane has no competition.
@@adrianbento3298 If you don't like Kenyans, and their admiration for a Jamaican, that's your problem.

Shoutout to our cousins in Kenya, yall never switched up on us, it's always been love from the start 💯
Kishane is capable and has great potential to even 9.60 sec. Paris will be very exciting to watch...anything is possible.
Hurricane 🌀 Kishane 🎉🎉🔥🔥🔥
Bro was straight up jogging
🙄
Again jogging 😂😂😂 imagine that he can keep increasing speed till 150m and grab 200m wr 😂
Yeah right. 🙄
@@ashleymusihiwa thats exactly what im saying like bro literally has the world record in his reach forsure
@@tlhydraboss3996smh yall reaching hard
The fact that second in this race got silver in the world Championships just shows how amazing Kishane is.
Tebogo wasn't going all out. If he's going full speed it's at least a guaranteed 9.8
@@Eastsidecrime you sir, are incredibly DELUSIONAL.
@@Eastsidecrime 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤫🤫 will ya?

@Eastsidecrime Kishane didn't go all out either so....
Kishane Thompson is HIM!!!
Bro name is being known in these streets 🎉 Go Kishane!!!!
Kishane is who he says he Is ❤❤❤
The Asafa comparisons are so crazy cause this guy runs nothing like Powell. Asafa ran very vertical with high knee liftscandcKishane runs with a forward lean and hands horizontal ( I dont mean arms) instead of vertical and straight. Whatever the form though Thompson is the real deal.
I don't think it's the running style. It's the form, the two have a big build.
Plus Asafa had no idea what top end was...henwasted his career on diamond leagues and never improved his speed endurance
@@Pretty19991no comparison except for speed
@@Pretty19991asafa was not as muscular as this guy
@@Pretty19991 a runner's form or style of running mean the same thing though. These two don't have the same form or style. Someone else said Thompson's form reminds him of Walter Dix from the US in the early 2000s and I can see the similarities.
Love you kishane thompson 🙏♥️🇯🇲
I don't think any of us have any idea how low this man can go. It's going to be very exciting to see him run his fastest at his peak form.
Exactly right. I think he 's a genuine threat to Bolt's 100m record. He'll do it next year after a good season under his belt.

Hurricane 🌀 Kishane 🇯🇲🔥for the Gold 🥇 in Paris 👏🏾
Right desso 😂😂💪👍✅️👏
Sorry to say this, I foresee Jamaica picking both gold and silver at the Olympics in Paris with Kishane and Seville
So what about Ackeem wid di broom 😊
@JayDublow I don't see a sweep, maybe 1st and 3rd. Hopefully no one pick, or buckle under pressure 😂
why have you not copnsidered lyles....are you that biased....
@@Angela-pg2tq45 hopeful too
@@Chrisjohnson19_72Lyle's will come 4th. But on a good note, he will definitely win the gold I'm the 200m 😊 congratulations! Lol
Very impressive from Thompson, yet again. Also something to note, at 20m or so - when the video starts - Tebogo is right there with him, however Thompson pulls away from him with his Asafa-esque drive phase. After around 70-75m, I don't think Tebogo was going all out either, so he will definitely be more of a threat in Paris than what this race shows.
Exactly Tebogo and Kishane from how i saw this race they were working on their different phases of the race i hope Tebogo has the right mentality after the death of his mother earlier on he looks smooth as well
@@tondetanditonny802 Yep, I hope all is well for him and his family. Still, he ran under 10 seconds here and probably could've gone a bit faster if he hadn't slowed before the finish line because he knew he'd lost.
Exactly they eased up with about 30m to go
I had Tebogo being the next superstar of track cause of his youth..but Kishane is only a yr older and is already in His own league..he's the next Superstar
@@SpannaBanna-e4e Could very much be! Looking forward to what both can do throughout the rest of their careers!
His glutes are Maximus
😂😂 WTF
Damn! 😂
LoL 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ah 😂😂😂
That's where his power comes from tho 😂
Gold dis enuh mi ppl.
When him get furious !!!! That will be something else
That doesn't benefit sprinters
He has the highest calf insertions I’ve ever seen his tendon length likely helps his speed a lot
An absolute killer
They scared of him , bro on fire.
Elaine thompson cousin fast as hell😱
More like Brother
The name of the movie is Rise of the Machine. Him a no human.
My goodness, and the man reduced his pace at 90m. He's a force to reckon.
He's the big deal, so all the haters can suck it..
He will be the second fastest man in 100m history by the end of the Olympics
Facts
@alexreid2365 he really looks good. Hope he can deliver something special.
not unless he can get a +1.5m/s wind in the final. hes more likely to run sub 9.69 on the circuit with a decent tail wind. the Paris stadium will be shielded so that any winds are dampened so as to prevent excessive head or tail winds.
Go Kishane, show the world what's up. 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
He was relaxed and beat Tebogo who is an outstanding sprinter (silver in the world's). Thompson is looking pretty good
Did u analyse the race? Tebogo slowed, wait and see in few weeks time.

Good to see he's not one of those athletes who run well at trials and aren't able to run sub10 for the rest of the season
My prediction for the Olympics 100: 1) Kishane, 2) Seville, 3) Whichever 200m runner has the best day (Lyles, Tebogo, Bednarek).
Good one ❤
Love your prediction. Hope it comes through 😊
KT, Kerley, Lyles or Seville, Bednarek, Tebogo.
Oh Sh*t!
Was that Simbine's first lose of the year?

Finally tebogo is here
Seems he is still holding his good performance form. Another sub 10 clocking by Kishane. Let's hope he hasn't peaked a bit early. I want to see him bringing this current form to the Olympic Games in Paris.
He hasn't peaked early. His coach Stephen Francis has him right on schedule.

@@jayr6839 this the same thing that TeBogO did with oblique Seville at the world champions in the semi finals and in the finals he washed Seville
,he did the same with bednarek on the 200m and let bednarek win the semi final only for him to wash bednarek in the finals
TeBogO plays a lot of mind games
His statement after the race was that
*people are dropping massive times out there but in Paris I'll be in the mix as well*
What sort of highlights start mid race
i personally think the only one that can possibly beat him is Fred Kerley in Paris. Fred has ran a 9.79 with pretty much no wind (+0.1) before, and he's been improving race by race, with a converted (zero wind) 9.90, 7 weeks before the races in Paris. if he can find his 2022 form, and a couple more hundredths, then hes capable of a zero wind 9.75.
and that will push KT.
No chance.. hes 29 & if you dont know age plays a huge factor.. show me anywhere in history a male sprinter at the age of 29 or older running pb's or close to their pb.. and he aint touching lyles
😢new world record..kishane Thompson
This guy runs exactly like Asafa Powell... I just hope he can perform well at the grandest stage. Coz Asafa fluffed at grandest level and I wouldn't want that for Keshaine
That's the difference with him. He seems to be m3ntally strong and a big occasion sprinter
He tooken drags
As long as he stays healthy, this should be the gold medal winner in Paris. Followed by Lyles and Omanyala.
If not these 3, see Seville maybe on the podium instead.

Why can‘t ya‘ll just post the full race
A 22-year-old with a body of an NFL football player! 🤔🤔🤔
What's your point exactly?
From 9.77 to 9.91...hes peaking too soon and will get slower towards olympic?
Did you watch both races
9.77 was with 0.9 and 9.91 was against 0.6. so roughly the same time somewhere in the low to mid 9.8s.
Tebogo also slowed
He looks very strong, given that he was slowing down and turning his head to check his lead. It does beg the question as to why not just run the entire race with his foot on the pedal? After all, it's a finals and it would just be another way of training for Paris.
runners use races leading up to championships to work on different parts of the race. once executed they may be instructed o use momentum [or run at a certain percentage]. the aim is to peak right at the championship without getting injured
He's never run rounds in a major championship before. That's what his coach is trying to mentally and physically condition him to do with these races. The idea is to run hard just long enough to make sure you're in good position to win, and advance to the next round... and take your foot off the gas the last 20 meters or so, to conserve your energy. The only time he needs to run 100% is in the 100m final in Paris. When he does that, I think we'll see 9.70 or less.
Hey Noah Lyles!!.. this is Kishane Thompson.
