Kinda like the chorf approach of starting very wide. I reckon that if they got bull centaurs from the start they would've been nipped apart by the ranged assets. Once the enemy units were properly tied down they were free wreak havoc.
The wolf riders are unsung heros in this matchup. cheap but stick around longer than you'd guess. Whenever you need to swarm a location they're always there.
Infernal Ironsworn, don't sleep on them. More HP than Chosen, 250 mass (Chosen have 160), Ironbreaker bombs, magic attacks, +8MA vs Ironbreakers(42 vs 34), +10 WPN STR vs Ironbreakers (42 vs 32). They can even kill Nurgle Chosen GW if they can get a volley of bombs off first. Their only major weaknesses are magic and artillery, due to their tight formation.
this replay just reminds me how sad we cheap archers are. in terms of archer duels they get out pew pew'd very consistently when it comes to lower costs.
i always find it weird to watch. I sometimes wonder why no one brings the WE archers as the army's centerpiece, but I think you hit the nail on the head.
It's been about 3 months since I have looked at this channel and I know Turin is 99.99% DB, but has he casted any LBs that people remember in these past few months? Thanks.
You can look at some of his faction battle tourneys, he'll sometimes do a land battle with OuterRegion or whomever to pass time between matches, but won't post it as separate content. That said, Turin has explicitly cut back on TW content in general in the past month or so and based on his comments I wouldn't expect that to improve any time soon.
I wonder what degenerate balanced this game? Imperial heavy swordsmen, the most elite infantry of the faction has 35 damage in mc, and rakhit goblins for 3 pennies 34 .
Look, I know you love AOE @Turin but this is total war warhammer. stop making references to games not of total war and or don’t share really comparable mechanics when you’re trying to commentate a match. I should be thinking of the match, not of a separate genre of games. It kills the immersive experience of trying to watch a match of total war. This is just constructive criticism. I only bring it up because I’ve heard references to other games other than total war from the commentary many times over many of your videos.
Me, and probably a lot of viewers, don't really care about him referring to other RTS games. How is this so immersion breaking for you? I think its cool that he brings up these references, not only sharing his knowledge of the genre, but also his love for it. As he also said in the video, people coming over from his AOE4 videoes may enjoy this insight. Get a grip dude, this is HIS narration/commentary style, which many people LOVE. I can't stand watching other people commentate on RTS games, this is the STYLE and PERSONALITY I keep coming back to, even if I'm not playing TW: Warhammer any more (and I've never played AOE4, but still I watch some of them). I usually never comment on CZcams videoes, but had to make an exeption this time. Never change, Turin
Turin's trying to curate a following across a couple of games at once (especially because CA is really struggling at the moment). Part of that process means helping people from other games understand this one when they watch it so that they'll watch more in the future. If it bothers you very much, you could watch on mute.
Wood elves after killing the Chaos Dwarf lord loosing their own: this has been the worst trade deal, maybe ever.

Cool battle. I thought the Chaos Dwarfs had it all wrapped up. But then the Lord on Dragon died to concentrated chaff bow fire. Ouch.

I was a VERY old-school tabletop Chaos Dwarf player back in the day - it's nice to see them claim a win.
Love the hard work Turin!

They're actually decent relative to other factions, but they need to get targets and shoot for a while, this game they didn't really have either
The chorf player forgot he brought a wide build for the first 5mins!
A lot of backfield pressure will do that to you xD
Keep 'em coming Turin!
First time I’ve seen someone many hobgoblin archers
"So who won?"
"Oh, the red army won"
"THEY'RE BOTH RED!"
Great game, really interesting Chaos Dwarf build
Thanks for continuing to mix in TWWH3 content!
Bring out the choooooorfs!
Really nice matchup. Chorfs are not so bad after all. I like them
Good game! Not a fan of chaos dwarfs but fun to see them in this matchup with my fav wood elves

@viclange3826 Oh okay! Thanks for letting me know! I appreciate it! I'll have to check out his AOE stuff I've missed
Is that an evil grudgin'?
How can you tell what the capture weight of any unit is?
Watching, liked and connected
Top content!
Gosh darnit when am I getting my Empire rework CA, 2023 is almost over
Does this TTMap pack work with campaign? 🤔
A great game that coulda gone either way
I always say hobgolblins with bows are op
Hey Turin been subscribed for 7years, I'd love to see more Warhammer content, it just seems to be dune and aoe on repeat
Has Turin stopped playing warhammer 3?

Hello
Woohoo, first comment!

Is this supposed to be a joke?
