I managed to get a flag from a bomb that the jet I launched dropped on the range in Greece. It will probably be my favorite memory as a PC, seeing my jet come back without any bombs left on it.

A lot has changed since I was in 71 to 75 on the Oriskany CVA-34. Makes me miss those war time cruises, but not that much. Wish they would show more enlisted as they are the ones that kept the pilots in the air.

And thr funny thing is, that movie did nothing to really help the Navy in recruitment. The Air Force was who got most of the recruits from it.
