This was one of the best EPP design videos I’ve ever seen! Showing both your fabric choosing process and the potential for dividing the paper further was mind blowing in the best way. I have just started EPP, have a bunch of 1” hexies basted, and I’m ready to start sewing. Now I really have some visions dancing in my head! Thank you!

I'm so jealous of your fabric! I live in a community that doesn't have many fabric store and they are very limited. Congratulations on your very first EPP project! I am happy you are finding ways to audition fabrics. Sometimes I arrange the colors I want to use in a block or area the night before and see if I still like them the next day!

I love your video and how excited you are about the fabric. But I don’t know $73 for a pattern and paper pieces.
Anyone can do paper piecing by cutting their own cut papers and spend next to nothing. This is a convenience for those that do not want to spend the time to cut their papers by having them already cut for them and have the plastic templates for viewing and cutting their selected motifs.
How is your Tula Bloomers coming along?
She has made some more blocks and she is waiting to make enough to make it video worthy! She is working on a plan for the layout! Thank you so much for asking!
I don't get the issue of using thread by a specific direction. I've heard that process a couple of times, but my brain just can't understand the "why"...what happens if you use thread from the other end? Is it the same with cross stitch floss? Your project is beautiful & your quilt is going to be amazing but it's WAY beyond my brain capacity.
The thread has an up and a down. The twist goes in one direction and when you repeatedly pull the thread through the fabric against the twist the thread gets more worn. If your thread isn’t breaking easily, then you might not need to be concerned. I can tell the difference, but if you don’t see it, don’t fret over it. Just have fun stitching!!!

Are the pink acrylic templates the same between Tula nova and Tula bloomers? Or do i need to get a new set?
The shapes are different so you will need a new set!
