    Mental component especially true with trail running. You have to be so locked in that it forces that meditative state

    Running inadvertently got me thru some tough times in my life without me realizing it until I reflected on it... I do it for both now especially at age 45 for preventative health reasons

    This is very relatable. My brother convinced me to go running with him yesterday and I ran like two miles and it realy put me in this meditative state where I was saying to myself "hold on, were almost there". I knew I could stop any moment I want but I didn't because I remembered David Gogginses one second rule. Next time I wont stop at five laps, im going full david gogins mode along with "they dont know me son"

    running consistently keeps fat off in a way that weights can't even compete with.

      any tips on how much needed to start seeing that effect (how many miles per day or wk)?

      @@BollywoodMediaOnline just stay consistent. make your body adapt to running. when your body realizes you're going to move a lot everyday, it starts to shed the excess weight to make it easier for you to travel. try to work up to being able to run 5-6 days a week.

      ​@@tyroneeasy9804 Would you recommend running even if I want to gain weight? I'm also doing bodyweight+weight training, eating more and drinking much more water.

    i might have to start with a brisk walk or a light jog before i run. i remember when running gave me cramps but i know i can break that barrier down if i at least try again.

    Do you just run or do you also gym?
