The best meronpan I have found is at Asakusa Kagetudo, next to the Sensoji temple in Asakusa.

5:32 Mombura? We have something like that in Germany too. It´s called "Granatsplitter" basically translating as Granade splitter, made of cream, cake and a covered in a layer of chocolate. Usually the inside is made of leftover cake and can contain anything from marzipan to glacé cherries.

Just started watching your videos and I really like them. You don't do just overviews, instead when you're talking about places in general you mention a specific spot in that general place you think is really good and in restaurants or department stores, etc. you tell the specific item you're trying, making it more the type of video I prefer to watch. Also, I'm pretty sure someone has already mentioned it, but the eggs benedict quiche is, as you thought, not considered a sweet. However, it could be considered a pastry because of the pastry crust.

We have something called rusks in the UK too, but they are bland baby biscuits you soak in milk lol. Definitely not as extravagant as that one lol!

I envy you guys! I have very limited options here in my town, I haven't even tasted cheesecake or a pie and I'm a foodie so looking at those yummy sweets makes me so jealous that i wanna jump off a cliff
