The poured bars are my favorite. I love the feel of them and the look of them. I have bought some of the coins for special reasons, but the bare bones (hah, see what I did there?) bars are most like what you would find pirate's chest or in a large vault. Raw silver for the keeping. Thank you for such a great display.

They also had free shipping on all orders (lasts till Dec 15). These are my first poured bars and just love them... I am now hooked on hand poured bars. Silver SlackerI have one more order coming from AM which will be the last. 50 pieces of the 2oz skull bars and a few more 5oz skull bars. Its schedule to arrive tomorrow which took them 3 days to send me a tracking number. I'm hardly much of a complainer and I don't know if i'm over reacting but I would think its not that hard to send an email? I been stacking for about 3 months and this is the 4th order from them. I haven't calculated my invoices from yet but I know it about $6K spent. Maybe more. Not sure about others but for me that's a lot of money spent in relative short 2-3 month period from them alone. I would think the customer service would better. Maybe to them that's small change and they have people dropping millions a day on their stuff!! Oh well I got just about everything I wanted from them. And If I want something else I can get it from JM for almost the same price. What do you think?
David Sozzi I have had nothing but good experiences with Atlantis mint. How long did it take for them to fill your order? Because many places like Scottsdale Mint and Provident take about 3 weeks to fill orders. Atlantis seemed pretty quick to me.
Silver Slacker They filled it quickly it seemed. I sent them cashiers checks for 3 orders and PayPal for 1 order. I'd say about 2 weeks, ,maybe 10 days the soonest. They were waiting for the cashiers check to clear they said. Even though a cashiers check is almost like cash they said due to counterfeiting it would take 3 days to clear their bank. It was the communication. Being I need to sign for the package I like to know what day it would arrive so I could be home. So overall the ordered arrived fairly quick its just that asking for a tracking number multiple times with no responses kinda turned me off. I'll shut up about it and look forward!:) JM Bullion ships fast. If I order on a Monday its arrives on Wed. Apmex also. Have not tried Provident yet.
David Sozzi Yeah if you pay with credit cards, it shaves off about a week to two because the companies don't have to worry about the funds clearing.

My Lord Man!!!! Were you never in the scouts....the way you were opening those packages had me squeamish as all hell!!! Always cut away from you please...especially when using a razor knife. Very informative video. I love the Monarch poured bars, but their shipping charges are outrageous. Shipping at Atlantis sounds very reasonable, especially for small pickups. I love the 10 ounce bar and also the wolf & tiger 1 oz. bars! Sweet!! Thanks for sharing and for the information about their web site.

Thanks, yeah Atlantis prices are not that bad for poured silver bars. They are always more pricey then just generic silver. If you use the coupon code it does help with the price, but yeah poured silver bars are not the cheap way to get silver!

I like the blackened look myself. It adds character, and leaves the overall bar looking distinctively silver. (Or maybe aluminium...) Part of the charm is not feeling like you have to put it in a bubble. I mean, it's metal, not a child.

Silver Slacker I got some of the 1 oz skull and bones and wolfs head. Now i'm waiting on some of the 5oz Pirate Bars. If you don't mind me asking what premiums did they charge your over spot? My first order was $2.75 per ounce over spot. Paid with a check.
David Sozzi My first large order was from Atlantis Mint. Spot was $15.95. I ordered 100 pieces of the 1oz skull&bones and 50 pieces of 1oz wolf's head. It was perfect timing because spot price climbed to $17+ just 1 week later. And I believe they charged me $2.75 per ounce over spot.

I have to admit I love watching your videos, you leave nothing out and you know exactly what people are thinking. I started collecting last year and I'm only up to 410 Oz that four hundred and ten ounces. My GOAL is to have 1,000 + Oz by the end of 2016 possibly even more.
But my inside Intel who works deep within the government tipped me off that this is the PERFECT time to purchase silver NOT Gold but Silver. Because it's not a matter of if the price will shoot for the stars its a matter of when and I guesstimate around 2017 one oz silver bar will sell for $85.00 + dollars watch and buy buy buy because when this time does and will arrive your going to kick yourself in the ass and wish you jumped into the game of silver SLACKING lol. From what iv'e seen this week with Bullion companies, as far as Silver goes its a no no if you saw my post yesterday regarding Scottdale 1/10th ounce costing the same as a FULL OUNCE, i think i will cut my losses with silver and go for the yellow stuff, at least there is no VAT on it and you get the going rate without any deductions and minimum premiums.
Its Fair to say you have the market cornered on poured bars. lol

One more thought...the finish definite is more like Monarch (shiny), not like the Prospector's Gold & Gems bars (matte). I have both Monarch and Prospector, and I think I prefer the shiny like Monarch. Did you weigh them yet? I know that Prospector gives you a little bit more vs. Monarch. Just wondering. Thanks again!
Yup I weighed all of them. Everyone was at or slightly over but not as much as the Prospector Bars. Out of the 174 ounces of bars I got, the total weight was 175.1 ounces, so only an extra 1.1 ounces.

They are out of stock on almost everything. I tried to add 20 1/2 oz rounds and they did not have that many, had to go down to 2 to get it to accept the order. Shipping price was nice but how can you trust a "company" that stocks less than 40 oz? Their prices also seem 10% higher than most refiners like MPM
You may want to email them or call them to see if they can fill larger orders. That is what I did and my order was pretty large as you saw. It didn't take them long to fill it either. If you use the coupon code "First" you will save about $.60 per ounce. Also their shipping is far cheaper than MPM, but MPM prices are lower!
Monarch has a deal on the 10oz poured bars. $.79 cents over spot per bar.

Nice video. One question though, if you have this kind of money to spend on PM, why choose silver? Wouldn't it be easier to go with gold and just buy far less?
I think silver has much better future potential than gold right now. The gold to silver ratio is really high at 71 ounces of silver to each ounce of gold. The last 20 year average is around 55 to 1. That mean just to get back to the average of the last 20 years then silver will have to outperform gold by 30%. And normally when it corrects like that, it over corrects so the returns will be even greater. I will be trading in some of my silver for gold at that time.

People stack silver for many different reasons. I do it mainly to diversify my assets and because I like hard assets. I like buying poured silver over other types of silver because I just like it and don't have to worry about condition issues and I can hold it. You can buy these bars many places. SS, one of my half ounce Atlantis Mint hand poured silver bars has started to develop a copper-like colour at the back where the pour lines are located. What could this mean? Please can you get back to me. Thanks.
Tom Samad Tom, that is just regular toning. Toning can be a lot of different colors, but the yellowing is one of the more common ones.

I'm sure they will eventually turn yellow. You can easily get it shiny again with some baking soda hot water and aluminum foil.
