WOW!!! What an unboxing! My youngest son is an eagle lover so i had to pick him up 1 of those poured eagle heads for xmas after seeing yours, just got it today he's gonna love it now I want some for myself. I'm trying to turn my sons onto stacking silver while their still young.

Damn dude, that's some weight right there. I was tallying it up as you went and counted 225ozs. Dang!! Congrats man! I really like the Atlantis mint stuff but not the premiums that came along with them. I think the premiums are lower now though that other dealers are carrying their product like JM Bullion & provident. Can't wait to see the next unboxing! :)

Sweet move 6 to7yrs later those bars r selling for 60-100 per oz RN. Dope play my man. I hope u did well on em. If u still got em I would sell it all but maybe 1 or 2 full sets and turn everything else into Gold. Job well done!

I went to the links for Atlantis Mint and Provident that you showed and I don't understand why Atlantis is charging about $1.50 more per ounce ($19.12) than Provident (17.68) for the 1 oz Eagle you show. Seems like Atlantis would sell for less since they make the product. Weird. I also don't see any discount for volume purchases at Atlantis and they charge for shipping regardless of volume, yikes. With silver at 14.58 at the moment I'm typing this, that's quite a premium per ounce.
+Bullion John Yup, you have a few options. If you are buying just a few pieces go through provident. If you plan to make a sizable purchase of lets say 100 oz's or more, I suggest contacting Atlantis Mint directly and see what you can work out as far as premiums. Provident buys tons, so they get the bars at a significant discount and pass that onto their customers.
Wow they packaged your stuff up very well. One package I got from them was rattling a lot. They squeezed 150+ ounces into a small flat rate box and it was bursting. But I contacted them and told them I wouldn't mind paying a little more for shipping for that not to happen again. And they were very nice about it and never had a problem and the 2 orders after that.

+Mercury Mark Thank you my friend. I actually have a safe room/panic room in my house that have 2 very large gun safes that are bolted to the floor. One is for guns, the other can hold a whole lot of silver :) These bars don't take up much room. I can put about 650-750 ounces in each monster box and they stack great! I would never trust my stuff in a bank.

I started stacking when spot was in the $17 range and the purchase prices really haven't became any less due to the rise of premiums. lol Only time I see good deals are when they have sales. I guess if I started a couple years ago I would think all this time is great time to buy regardless. ;) Thanks for sharing

If silver were to go down to $5 per ozt - I doubt you'd find anyone willing to *sell* it to you for *less* than around $15 per ozt...
I could be completely 100% wrong but, I just don't see people wanting to sell for any less than around $15 per ozt - even if silver were to go to $1. Am I wrong?

Yes I do test my bars. Not all of them, but I take samples and make sure they are good. I use the specific gravity test and show how it is done in this video: czcams.com/video/XoKBqFbGeyU/video.html
Beautiful eye candy selection. I noticed that the smaller poured silver bars are sold out everywhere such as 5oz Silvertowne. We all need to get back to what is real, can see and touch. I'm not a fan of skull heads, but those 5 oz chunky bars are even tempting me! Will check out their website.

Have you ever checked any if these items to make sure they aren't counterfeit? You know, the magnet test, ring, weight and a random acid test? I have to admit these bars are very attractive. A positive reply from you would be helpful. I will check out the site you linked, thanks!
+Rich206L Yes, I do multiple checks on my silver. But the main one I like to do is the magnet test and the Specific Gravity test. Ring test don't work on some pieces because they are to thick, and I don't do acid test since it damages the silver. +ryan ford Yeah it can, but you can clean it if you don't like toning and it does not affect the value. I actually like toned poured silver and it actually can sell for more toned because it looks more aged and authentic.

So I'm thinking of getting into silver stacking, my only confusion is that when the price goes right up and you want to sell, surely no one will buy it while the price is so high? Surely they'll wait until the price drops again to start buying again so won't you end up being stuck with it?

I'm just starting out while prices are low but I'm struggling to find silver anywhere near spot price, even in bulk it's like £3-4 above spot... And no way can i afford to buy in bulk. I can only afford to buy a few coins or bars here and there to get me going but I'm looking at £7 above spot which is probably about $10 or so

+TKD COW It all depends on what I am buying. I try to stay low to spot price, but buy something that I think is really cool and will do well in the future. These were $2-$3 over spot. With larger orders you can get discounts.

Hello Silverslacker. Very nice collection and variety of silver. I have some neat stuff listed on Ebay under the name newmitsmutits. I have a 4.3 ounce Darth Vader mask, some 1 ounce minions and quite a few other things that only I make.

I have been seeing more and more of that stuff and always worried the person could get in trouble for something like that unless they have Disney's permission. Very cool product though! :)
+Silver Slacker I would say its a gray area. For instance, the darth vader ingot came from a mold that Disney sells. The college theme ingots came from molds that jello sells. I don't think it should matter what is made from the mold or what I do with the product weather it be jello shots sold at a bar or cupcakes sold at the flea market.

That's generous of you to plan that you need that amount of property. Have you thought about investing in other metals such as palladium and platinum? iirc iridium was the most expensive metal, I think rhodium is about second place.
