Gilmore and Keshaw need to have a moment where they're just drinking in a bar, talking about how the half elves they like don't feel the same way, and see how long it takes for them to realize that their respective half elves fell for eachother.

Laura: "Like the dragon."

He's singing 'Solitaire' by Neil Sedaka, too. 'There was a gnome... a lonely gnome...'
He's playing with himself again
I saw it more sentimental because he just did a scry and saw his daughter playing cards.

It was very crowded.

I love watching Matt play other people's characters. His Kashaw is one of my favorites. He really captures the essence of Kashaw's deadpan humour and it's so spot-on I love it.
Have you heard his Percy voice and acting? It's pretty much indistinguishable from Taliesin.
I've enjoyed and surprised by most of them. I do find his Vax‘Ildan a bit weak. Also his Pike but that stems from how much time work intervenes. Ashley having to constantly play catch up is NOT a character trait.
I find his worse to be Jester.
I love that they asked for the spice exactly once, was told they "hadn't heard of it" and went straight to assuming it was illegal drugs.
Keyleth ruining Percy's haggle by blurting out "that's a healing potion" is the most Keyleth thing ever.
The most Marisha** thing ever
1:31:06 is one of my favorite moments from the entire arch. Matt never says that it's a drug the NPCs have just never heard of the spice. Scanlan just assumes it is something illegal and starts this entire drug deal story line because Matt is a sneaky DM.
I like to think of it as someone out in the midwest being asked where one could find sumac or cardamom.
Well, Gilmore's parents kind of alluded to that. When asked about it, Gilmore's dad said that (roughly) "What is it, I have never heard of that spice." If he didn't know what it was, how did he know it was a spice?
From east coast US here, go to the middle of the country and ask about Pierogies, they are lost. Not even the walmart had them in Nebraska. I was so sad D:

The Curious Approach:
"I look outside." (Percy)
The Looter Approach:

You missed just one. It's from older editions though.
The Paranoid Approach:
"I poke the ceiling with a stick."
And the Babarrian approach:
I stick my head in the pot and start attacking. (Grog)
@@johncameron1935 No, that's an extension of approach one.

Vax walking back to his room from Keyleth's and Vex gagging. Perfection.
I love that he fucked up his stealth roll and got this amazing interaction. Plus the tables enjoying the premise and the double 1s. So fun to watch
That part was funny. The constant forced 5+ minute long repetitive monologues Vax goes into after any of it, not so much.

Justin Hurrelbrink Me too, I like to think myself as a manly man, but I shed tears over Tiberius.
Seriously almost got tears out of me haha
Better by far than the last time I tried to end an (non dnd. just goofing around on a forum) RP that just wasn't working.
Basic story was we were a bunch of misfits that got invited to a 3-day party in a pocket-universe. We arrived wearing assorted tacky outfits, ate snack food that caused the eaters to temporarily transform into humanoid monsters, and chatted with the locals. A few months of Nothing happening and people getting bored and quitting without giving legit in-game reasons or departure, I shrugged and had a storm of meteors shatter the floating-in-the-void castle into splinters, killing everyone.
Hell yea, feelings and stuff!

Sam: "They're both over 70 so who's going to kill them?"
Wonderful throwback, LMFAO!
I love watching Matt's face when characters have really deep, personal moments together like Kiki and Vax, it literally reads "look at my babies, growing up and falling in love."
He likes watching his script being acted out. that's what's behind his expression, I think.
You're all over this script thing, huh? So they're all just reading lines spoon fed by Matt? Interesting. And ridiculous...
Given lines such as "Big men talk big words that only fail on the battlefield" and "life needs things to live", I doubt Matt writes their lines
Wait, somebody thinks they are reading scrips? That's so beyond retarded I dont know where to begin.
Are you even watching, do you have brain cells or -100 to perception?
Do these people not know they are all voice 'actors', cuz they say so in the intro.
Hey would anyone be interested in a pathfinder game over Skype
Rest In Peace the Gilmore Dragon theory. It was great, but it’s hard to recover from meeting his very human parents.
Adopted?
Unless they also are dragons lol
Jonathan Salinas Yes, clearly Gilmore adopted his parents.
There are one type of dragon( silver I think) that spends a lot of time shapeshifted as humans and live out lives as normal until they live out the equivalent of a lifetime and then meditate and seal the memories away or something and then do it again so you could have someone maybe even in your party that is secretly a dragon and you might never find out( would be a a REALLY good idea for a PC if your dm allows it I could see a HUGE reveal endgame for your pc or a close npc)
@@malakai960 Certainly cool. Reminds me of an idea I have where a Warlock is essentially it's own patron because it's trapped in a mortal body. I've got a little bit more detail in mind but that's a good seed for any number of things.

Snapple cap facts. The respect he gets will never be enough imo, no matter how much it is.
Jarrett: It's a bit pricey, I can give you some--
VM, vehemently: NO.
Hahaha, if he has given them the money then perhaps they wouldn’t have overspent
Every time they meet Gilmore I keep praying they give him a bunch of their excess magical weapons and items. Like I get having some key weapons and utility items but I'm almost certain they've got enough gear to equip a dozen adventurers at this point. Gilmore said specifically that if they had any items they didn't need he'd like to take them so he can restock.
I'm still waiting for when they repay him the 25k gold. They went to claim the gold from the dwarves, but actually repaying him either didn't happen, or happened off-stream.
@@silvergreylion they never actually put out the line of credit because they had enough to buy what they needed because Travis was hiding that they had a lot of platinum in the bag of holding
@@griffin74 I distinctly remember that they agreed on a contract, they had a month to get the 25k back to him, or their keep would become Gilmore's property.
It would be a more than a bit odd if they went that far on the details, and then never got the credit.
If I remember correctly, it was only 1400 gold worth of platinum, not that much compared to the 25K they wanted.
@@silvergreylion Sorry, but you're not remembering correctly then; their initial calculation of Platinum value was way off(it was more like 14,000 than 1,400 though I forget the exact amount) so they paid the difference using that Platinum, some gemstones and dragon scales(for which they got Vaxes 3rd dagger, Lifedrain one, a book to boost Percy's Dex, ice resist leathers they've barely used and 1 or 2 other things). They only discussed the line of credit prior to realising they had enough to barter.
They never paid Jordana however(in Whitestone) for the potions she gave them, or found her father for that matter(he's most likely dead but not confirmed afaik). Girl takes them in during a time of tyranny and gives them all her product only to be forgotten by Vox Machina, kind of feels bad...
@@zacdredge3859 They were initially way off, yes, thinking they had way MORE currency, probably because they thought platinum had 100x the value of gold, but later realized it was only 10x that of gold.
You can go check if you want, I know I remember that part right.
You can really see how mature the three of them are about the whole situation in Matt's face alone while the Vaxleth stuff is happening. He's giddy and it's like he's watching his favorite ship on his favorite tv show finally get together
And Liam said he asked for Matt's consent while he was deciding if he should make Vax have these feelings or not. I don't remember if he asked Marisha too but I wouldn't find it weird if he did.

Too bad the spice literally turned out to be a food seasoning as originally suggested. Most everyone (viewers and cast alike) just wanted it to be a euphemism for an illicit drug so badly after Sam started going down that train of thought that they never bothered to insight check the dealers about it. . . kind of throws a wrench in the narrative of my little spiel here but it's just so perfect the way it is.
