Iâm coming back to this video because palette is currently on sale. At this point I think the fact that this palette is mostly earth tones is a great thing. Yes itâs dupable but I think this is the most unique in her line currently simply because itâs not pink! The last 2 years of mothership palettes are variations of pink with a bronzey-gold and a darker brown or eggplant colour to deepen.
Blitz Violet looks stunning on you! And I appreciate your analysis. I found that when those glitzy shades chill, they look like mini disco balls in my lids. I almost thought (I could be wrong) Astral Solstice has silver holographic particles in there. The way the light was reflecting was like đ€Ż

I'm really underwhelmed by this. I have and love the bronze seduction, but I hardly ever go anywhere so I hardly ever use it. I'd say try and save your money and really invest in a thoughtful way. The market is so over-saturated right now and most of us have a ridiculous number of palettes. Right now, all I want to see is a purple, dusky palette... like a purple version of mauves if that makes sense. That would be the only thing that could excite me at this point.

I love the look you created! But I was shook when you covered that purple shade because youâre right, it is very warm and earthy without it! After watching this video and your video on the mini pat eye doll palettes, I think Iâm gonna pass on this one and grab one of the minis instead to pair with the shades in my mothership V. I love Pat's palettes. I have 2 of the 10 pan palettes, and 4 of her 6 pan palettes. The collector in me was patiently waiting for a new 10 pan palette, but I feel like I'd be buying this palette only for 2 or 3 shades, and that does not make any sense when this is so expensive. I will save my coins. The holidays are coming and we will have more and more to choose from.

I bet that violet shade would look lovely with the brick-reddish brown matte shade. This palette will round out my collection well. That olive shade is TDF! I used midnight 5 with glitter glue and then ordered midnight 6 today , glitter glue really makes the color pop

PS...my favorite is olive green...but all colors are great..I think lavender is similar to blue in pallet #3 blue shade...
#3 is way more blue. This is lavender. Not close.

Yay! So glad you reviewed this already! I have the entire PMG collection so far (except Decadence boooooo) so I will be picking this up regardless, but I was still very interested in your opinion. I adore your eye look! Can't wait to try it on my own face hehe :)
It's funny you mentioned the pans being lose. I don't know what is up with PML quality control lately. I bought Mothership II a few months ago to complete my collection and the top middle shade was loose. Exchanged it, and the EXACT SAME shade was loose, plus a second shade was also loose. Then I bought Antidote lipstick and the gold encasement thing was not attached so I couldn't roll it up. It back, the replacement was the same way! Very frustrating. I hope my Mothership VI arrives with no issues! At that price I expect perfection!
you are so right! they should be perfect. The palette is so heavy, and it's not snug in pretty cardboard box, and the packing material is that black "grass". Not enough to take the impact. The packaging needs to be tighter and better.

The purple is like the blue in subversive or the green in the red 6 pan palette. I wonder what that purple looks like with special shades from her other 10 pan palettesđ€
it's way more Lavender. I didn't find an exact/close dupe among her other palettes.

That is so awesome you got the palette so quickly. The swatches look so pretty & I love the purple look you did. Iâm not sure if I will purchase. Some shades do look close to other palette. Iâm sorry but for $125 the eyeshadows should not be falling out. I would return & get a new one. đ

I ran to watch this because the Mothership V is my first PMG palette. It turned me into an addict and I was wondering about getting this one. Now I think I might wait to see it in person since the shades do seem pretty similar although the purple is what grabbed me. Maybe I should just get La VIe En Rose........more exciting colors and a lower price point?.........

This palette screams fall vibes! I love her formula I think everyone thinks 125.00 is so much but if you sign up for your first purchase you also get 10% off. Either way even at full price the shadows come out to 12.50 a pop and well worth it, putting together a palette with makeup geek or coulourpop can get quite pricey when creating your own and the pan size and quality is smaller and while still good Pats formula does the work for you. I do think it comes down to preference though, and I do understand how this palette can be underwhelming compared to her others but I feel itâs more suited for every day use where youâd really get your moneyâs worth out of it if decided to splurge. Rant over...lol
I feel like honey gold and violet/purple are going to be *the* colors this fall season.

Oh my... basically you would be buying a $129 palette for two shades if you have Bronze Seduction. I was intrigued by it. I have other palettes with an olive green. I will have to be happy with those palettes. I have a purplish blue shade called Faso in my Juviaâs Place Magic Mini. It is not Pat McGrath, but she will have to do in a pinch. I donât wear that shade very often to justify the PM purchase. Lovely review Morgan.

I so agree, it's dupable and I'm tempted to do it until I can get my hands on it either Friday or wait for Sephora to launch it on the 13th. I'm so disappointed it's not launching on our Canadian Sephora until then. Lol! However, I do agree that although it's dupable it's still the quality that can't be duped and I can attest to it as I've swatched her specialty shadows up against some dupes of Indie brands and they still can't shine the light on her quality of incredible iridescence! It's unreal! If you don't compare them the others look like dupes and you can happily get away with them BUT when swatched side by side, PM is incontestable! Lol! I wish I hadn't missed that mistaken launch. Now to wait! Lol! And thanks so much for describing the different shades in detail even comparing the 2 specialty shades with the similar but not the same purple and orange one's. And I also wish she'd made the dark brown a dark eggplant and maybe even thrown in a blueish/purple transition in too! I find she makes the staple shades a little too generic. Not sure whether she does that to appeal to a larger audience as there's more room to go neutral??? I guess so. Not the way I'd have done it, though. Heehee! đđ

Hi, thank you for interesting video! I do not have any PMG palette (and not going to pay for some in short time), but if I had to buy one I would choose this last one. Because of the color story - when you hided the violet it was exactly what I use to wear (nothing special, but highly wearable). As you said, it might be good or bad thing, and "we older ladies" do not experiment very much ;-). Thanks for the review and swatches.
