I have been looking for a bike that makes me feel good when I’m riding…something that sounds like a bike. So, I’ve had a ride of the Speedmaster and just bought the Chrome edition. I have watched CZcams videos of the Speedmaster so as to justify my decision was the right one. I did buy a K1600B 2 yrs ago and regretted it. In 2005 I had a Harley Street Glide, which I really liked..and it was a real pleasure to ride. I didn’t get passed 70mph, so I wanted again the Harley vibe, but not at £30 grand a pop. This makes the Speedmaster excellent value for money.
Now sir, to your video. I have just subscribed as I think your review nailed this bike. Great camera work too, I like the bokeh and the colouration and best of all, I can actually hear the bike, the sound of the exhaust, the subtle sounds of the engine and you didn’t ruin it with commentary….you let the bike do the talking and I could really feel I was on this bike riding it. Well done sir on a great video.
Thank you 😊 and welcome to the channel 👍🏼
@@MrDarcy-OlMan that is the bike that needed to be built. I have the same seat on my Thunderbird LT. Best production seat I've ever experienced. Thanks for not covering the sound of the bike with music. It sounds awesome.
I bought the chrome one too at the same time as you. How are you getting on with it? Its a real slow burner for me I must admit.
@@paulyflyer8154 I’ve done 400 miles so far. I am enjoying it, but, hit a pothole and it crashes into it, the suspension can’t cope. That’s the only drawback.
I have this bike. Got mine in 2018. I’ve rode it cross country from Texas to California to Montana. This bike has not only been amazing in reliability but an absolute pleasure to ride. If I get another bike I’ll always keep this one.
I wish I'd kept mine. Great for running to the store: gear up n go.
Greetings from Germany. Thanks for your comment. I ride to southern France every year and I was wondering if it will make the 1.200 km one way. So now I have my answer.
I couldn't sleep one night last week and ended up looking at Harley v Triumph videos, then ended up here.
It's not often I'd say that a CZcams video influences my life much but wow, this one did.
The way your review described the bike seemed to tick all my boxes.
12 hours later I'm at a Dealership putting down a deposit for the next available Speedmaster from the factory.
Just a 3 week wait now until I can return to the B roads of North Wales.
thank you...!
Gosh fabulous!
I must say that the Speedmaster is one of the best bikes I’ve ever ridden. Great choice!
I agree with you that the Speedmaster is the most beautiful Bonneville and I'm tempted to buy one. I bought my first motorcycle in 1969 - a 1969 Bonneville T120. I traveled all over North America for one year on it not knowing where I would be at the end of each day. What an adventure and what a time to have such an adventure. I've always had a thing for Triumph motorcycles. That said, I was surprised by your comment that Triumph should come out with a big cruiser. Have you forgotten about the Rocket III? I'm 72 so I'm not into "street fighters" like the new Rocket III but I've had a Rocket III Touring since 2015 and I absolutely love it. I took a 6,500 mile solo trip on it and it was a dream. I've never had a single problem with it ever. It's an absolute torque monster. I've owned HDs and they don't even come close to the torque of the Rocket III Touring - especially low-end torque. And, as for big, when it's parked next to a full-size HD, the HD appears to shrink. They look tiny next to the Rocket. It's a real beast. The only downside (for me) is that, being such a massive beast, I've never really gotten used to slow speed maneuvers. It's so heavy that any mistake at low speeds and it would go down - at least for me. And I think it's absolutely beautiful! On top of that, my wife is a passenger most of the time and I can pack it up with lots of stuff for long trips. Now, as for the BMW 18 (I hadn't heard of it so I had to look it up) - well, I do like the classic looks but it's just not practical, IMO. And I don't know if I could ever get used to the boxer engine with the cylinders sticking out so far. It also really wouldn't be any good for long road trips and, top it off, it doesn't have anywhere near the torque of the TR3T. And, one more thing, for speed and power freaks, the Rocket engines including both the original 2300cc versions (like mine) and the new 2500cc versions, can be tuned for amazing power. And, if that's not enough, modifications are available to up the horses power (of the 2300 versions anyway - I don't know much about the 2500cc versions) to over 265 HP. Try that with the BMW.
So, I'm not sure where you're coming from when you suggest that Triumph should come out with a big cruiser. They already have the biggest and most powerful cruisers ever built. Could it be that they are banned in Great Britain? I can't think of any other reason for your remark.
Thanks for your comments!
Have a look at our Rocket 3 review czcams.com/video/xBo-e7WXlvI/video.html
We never really thought of it as a cruiser and we do cover this point in the video. Have a look and see what you think 👍🏼👍🏼
I’ve been riding this bike for 4 years - it was my first bike - I’m 5’8” - super easy to handle and great fun adding custom parts which has really made it perfect for me - but there literally was no issues with anything stock on this fantastic machine!! Love. It!
Awesome! It’s so good! 💯
I have to say I absolutely love mine!! A very good review… lots of nice advice and delivery… thank you…
I’ve customised mine with the straight bobber black bars and a few farkles. It’s such an easy bike to ride and looks amazing… triumph have nailed it… an absolute keeper.
Thanks again!
Tally Bally Ho!
Just received mine today !!! Exactly like this one. What a nice bike, I think I won't sleep tonight. Continue your great work , cheers from Montréal Canada.
Awesome! Yes it’s a top bike! 👍🏼👍🏼
I have a 2020 speedmaster absolutely love this bike the more I ride it, and have just about 10.000 on the clock. I can honestly say no problems at all totally reliable. I did add a windshield sadel bags and a backrest with luggage rack to make it more comfortable for the long haul and can ride it all day . Dam good looking bike to.
Awesome! Yes I’d agree with your comments 💯
I bought a Speedmaster less than two months ago and I just can't get off it. It just feels so nice to ride I don't want my journies to end. As you so eloquently put in your review, the power is perfect for the bike; enough to have fun but the seating and comfort make you want to simply pootle along and enjoy the day. Great review and I can only reiterate your statement that it's the best Bonneville money can buy. Keep the reviews coming. You are my go-to guy for an honest opinion from people who love bikes. I would also add that I am a short-arse at 5' 6" but the bike fits beautifully
Thanks buddy. Much appreciated. Another Bonneville review coming on in half an hour!
Thanks for including your size. I too am a mammoth 5'6", 160 lbs. Knowing your fit helps a lot.
I've a 2018 Speedmaster 1200 (red) for which I traded in my 2015 Speedmaster 865. Night and day in terms of performance and fit and finish betwixt the two. To make the bike even better, I mailed in the ECU to an outfit called DNK tuneworks and it was $300 well spent. Higher redline, it makes like 99 horsepower now, pulls even harder in every gear, and removes the low end jerky throttle response when slowly putting around town. And yes, I often find myself lurking about in the garage looking at it from different angles, it's so pretty. I think this will be the last bike I ever buy because it scratches all of the itches. And I've only seen one other on the road in the 3 years I've had mine. It's a rare bird here in North Carolina USA. I get a lot of thumbs up from people who probably think I'm riding around on a 50 year old motorbike. I adore this machine.
Well said! A fabulous bike indeed! 💯👍🏼
I have the exact same bike! and yes keep looking at her and taking photos. Have you done any other engine/ exhaust mods? mines bog standard apart from a TEC fuel booster but i still have the jerky throttle. I've been contemplating going the de-cat route and a re-tune
@@michaelmullins3227
I installed a booster plug for the jerky throttle and it does a nice job. $150, plug and play in 10 minutes.
Bought a Black and white speedmaster 4 weeks ago and I have to say your review is spot on... A stunning bike in every way..currently spending a fortune on accessories! 👍
Fabulous! What a worthy bike to lavish gifts upon 💯
The camera shot of the Triumph Speedmaster with your house as a back drop, complement one another very nicely! The grey and brown tones of your farmhouse with that lovely red tank of the Triumph are very pleasing on the eye.
Thank you for uploading.

Thanks buddy. Yes it’s very much at home in this environment 👍🏼👍🏼
I test rode the cafe racer Triumph because it was the same engine. I got back before I left on the cafe racer. The bloke said to me remember your not young anymore. I did a rear skiddy and slipped up the side of a bus I nearly ran into I had fun. The speedmaster is a different beast. I am not dissapointed with the speedmaster. I have a 2009 865cc fuel injected one with the double front disc. It is not like the cafe racer but I can enjoy the torque it gives and they more relaxed ride. The cafe racer is cammed different from what I can understand. The speedmaster is more like a truck. I am still happy with it and still goes harder than I am willing to go.
That hat screams street food chef. Lovely.
Always love your aesthetics tbh, it looks so clean, polished.
Lol always up for some grub 👍🏼
I live in Snowdonia and ride a Triumph Bonneville T120 and it works for me a great bike on the best roads and scenery in the UK, get where you're coming from with the speedmaster and the classic Triumph's tick all the boxes for me!
Awesome! I was heading in that direction! T120 is awesome too 👍🏼👍🏼
Those Triumph twins make a great sound. Nice burble but more mechanical than most other brands, it's like you can hear the engine working away. I think Triumph could stick a third cylinder on this engine. It'd be a triple which screams Triumph, it'd be 1800cc which is perfect for a big curser and it'd be an inline meaning they could still have short and snappy bikes. It'd be a bike that fits the segment but has enough character to set it apart from the competition.
Yes absolutely 👍🏼👍🏼
They already have the Rocket 3 for that.
@@aapddd but it’s not a cruiser 👍🏼
I don't know why people always need such big engines? I wish they had a 900cc or less cruiser version. Also a three cylinder is not ideal for a relaxed cruiser. A twin gives way better characteristics for such a bike.
@@thebusinessbuddha1278 good point! 💯
Yes sir this is the best boneville and I personally love the looks and it's more practical as I don't like to travel alone.
Thanks bud yes indeed 👍🏼
Own the speedmaster for 6 months and LOVE THIS BIKE!! Comfortable, quick, maneuverable, good looking and worth every penny I spent. Added hard bags along with the deluxe chrome.
Awesome 👍🏼

I own this bike in this same colour so my cards are on the table when I say I'm in agreement with your review. I run mine in a stripped bobber trim, because I love the style, but I like the fact that in minutes I can convert it back to two up and luggage. The engine tune is well suited to this chassis and our UK B roads; just the right amount of meat to the bone. To add to your comments for anyone interested, I'm only 5'7" (170cm) and it fits me fine too. The handlebars were too much like pushing a wheelbarrow, I finally settled on swapping for those from a T100. The only other negative is that the foot pegs ground out sooner than I expected, but this is true of all the bobber chassis bikes and a testament to how well they will lean through bends.
As to the Wales question, I live in the UK Midlands and North Wales is one of my favourite places. The landscape never fails to take my breath away.
Thanks buddy and great to hear your comments! 💯👍🏼
My favorite Triumph and I agree, the best looking Triumph ever. Amazing how far they've come from the "retro" bonnie of 25 or so years ago til now. The most well rounded lineup of their history and who would have guessed.
Those country lanes of the land of my ancestors are very inviting. I must get there.
Absolutely my friend!
An American Cousin subscriber here. I can't say enough positive things about your channel, and have recommended it to others. In my opinion, it is one of the best MC Review channels on CZcams. Beautiful bikes in a beautiful country setting, with your high quality straight to the point educational reviews. A winning combination. Love the Speedmaster, and I am seriously considering purchasing one. My first bike was a 1967 Triumph Daytona Tiger 500, which I still have after all these years. Followed by a 1972 Triumph TR7RV 650. Still have that one too. Been riding Harley's for many years, and I am considering a new Road King or Heritage. However, I am also considering the 111 Indian Chief Vintage 1811cc, by Polaris. Any chance that you might be reviewing that bike in the near future? I would really like to hear your opinion of that machine. Any way, many thanks for your great channel, and best regards from the USA.
Thanks buddy! That’s really nice of you 🙏
We were talking to Indian and they promised all their bikes to us; then they have gone silent on us (again! They did the same last year).
Don't forget that the U K gallon is larger than the U S one Ignore the M P G figures
The bike is gorgeous and comfortable for a tall guy. I got to sit on one recently at a dealership. Congrats on the new farmhouse by the way. It is so beautiful.
Thanks buddy. Yes it’s a spacious feeling bike. 👍🏼👍🏼
Been 6'8" I can see the handlebars hitting my knee
@@deeweeuavp possibly. Easy to change them though 👍🏼
Incredibly right bike. The world is not completely lost! (not) Good alternative to Harley. When you want something calm. It's just a good bike. Even after 10-20-30 years this bike will be a good bike. Not a bad investment.
Yes well put! 💯👍🏼
I've loved Triumph motorcycles ever since I snuck my step-father's '68 Bonneville out for a ride when I was 15...👋😬👍
Haha great 👍🏼👍🏼
Never had a Triumph. But they do hold a special place in my heart. If harley never existed this whould have been my brand. They look so good With that nostalgic look.
Well said. That’s about where we stand 👍🏼
I'm currently awaiting mine to arrive next week. Gotta say that I didn't know your videos before but they are super relaxing. The presentation, the quality, also the beauty of you setting (house?). Keep going.
Phew! I couldn't get to a dealer due to Covid so I ordered a red one without testing because I wanted it for the summer. Pick it up tomorrow, weather permitting.... Your assessment makes me feel a lot more comfortable about my impetuosity!
Brilliant! We’ve come in useful at last! lol. Well done! Great decision 💯
This video helped cement my purchase of this bike for me. I am a brand new rider, and just bought a new 2020 Speedmaster in blue.
I get my license this weekend after some lessons, and can't wait to take my bike for a ride.
Great! Glad to hear that.
Good luck with the new bike 👍🏼👍🏼
I’m about to get a Speedmaster as a first bike. How did you find it?
@@MrDaveIreland
Well, I wasn't sure until after the first service.
Now that I have put some miles on her, I love it.
Hi - my first visit to your channel. I was looking for a no-nonsense, thorough review of this bike. That’s exactly what you’ve provided - in addition to really nice cut-aways of rides.
Thank you - job done.
Thanks very much 👍🏼
I own a 2020 model with the lovely blue tank. The best bike ever for me.
Excellent! 👌🏼
I ride a 1999 Triumph Adventurer… which is a triple cylinder 900 cc… I freaking love this bike… it absolutely rips these California canyons in the Santa Barbara area…
Freaking Triumphs Rock..!!
Awesome! Thanks buddy 💯
Awesome review, information, scenery and sound. Your review is sure helping me in making a decision on my next bike. Cannot wait to take it out on some South African roads.
Thanks buddy ! The Speedmaster is a brilliant bike 👍🏼👍🏼
What an exciting ride around the 8 minute mark! It fits you so well! Thanks for reviews that are scenic and exciting!
Thanks buddy. Yes it was a lovely bit of road 💯👍🏼
Awesome classic bike that matches such a great looking character home & countryside, great review, thank you
Definitely! Thanks bro 👍🏼
I've been waiting for your Speedmaster review for a while now - lovely to see we agree on every point...!
I have a 2020 Speedy in the blue finish and she's a beaut. Couldn't agree more with your take on this motorcycle!
Enjoy the channel, thanks for uploading! Til the next one.
Thanks buddy 👍🏼👍🏼
Awesome review and honest and Wales is a fantastic place to ride out, I could just sit there all day admiring the bike, I’m having a demo on Monday can’t wait. Cheers from Birmingham 👌👍 love the sound of those twin pipes
Thanks bud! Yes it’s a really lovely bike 💯
Excellent Channel. I have a 2021 Speedmaster and love it... super reliable, cool looking, and with bags and tall windshield I took it touring. Handles great and the engine is flawless. Cruise control and riding modes and traction control add the right amount of modern touches to a vintage style bike. Triumph did it right. Thanks Darcy for a great review. By the way, I'm 6'-2" and with a Corbin aftermarket seat that lets you sit a little further back--along with Motone 1" handlebar risers--the bike fit me perfectly.
Thanks buddy. That’s awesome
Brilliant review mate. The one I’ve been waiting for. Thanks for the detailed answers to the questions I had regarding the speedmaster. 👍👍
Thanks buddy! No problem 👍🏼👍🏼
Excellent review, as usual! Thanks for the views of the Wales countryside.
Thanks very much indeed 👍🏼
Roads and countryside like you have there...perfect for motorcycle riding. If only we had that here, so jealous.
Great review! The views were spectacular and as I am looking at this bike for my next purchase it just confirms a number of things I already knew and has likely just sealed the deal! Best wishes for your continued success!
Great review and beautiful scenery as well. The Speedmaster was on my short list as I think it’s a great looking bike with very high quality components and as comfortable as it gets. Triumph really nailed it with this one. As fate would have it I ended up with an Indian scout which I love to ride at speed. After watching you review I still have some regrets about not getting the Speedmaster. Looks best in red!
Keep them coming because you guys are the best the most enjoyable to watch your channel.
Thanks very much! Yes we love the Speedmaster. We had hoped to review all the Indians and they had promised, however, they have gone quiet on us for the second year running.
Fantastic! Thrilled that you liked it. As always, great review. Thank you from Texas.
Thanks buddy 💯👍🏼
An excellent straight forward review! Thanks
Thanks buddy 💯😉
Beautiful! Wales and the Speedmaster. Thanks for the review! Might be my next bike!
Very well produced, informative, and entertaining review.
Thanks buddy 💯👍🏼
Perfekt bike...i'm loveing it...greetings from the Highlands ol'man...yours Arnold 💚
In response to your comment about a Triumph Cruiser,I would love Triumph to start production of the Thunderbird again(the larger engine versions). One of the most fun bikes I’ve owned, and the most comfortable.
The Triumph 900 Thunderbird Sport was hard to beat as well, handled like it was on rails and was a great combination of Retro 30's, 70's and modern ( six gears and mono shock). Imagine a re-release with the Speed triple engine...Va..Va...Vroom!!
Yes hopefully they’re listening 😉
Yes 👍🏼👍🏼
I'd agree wholeheartedly with your comments, drop-dead gorgeous, especially in that shade of red.
It’s absolutely awesome 💯
Hi Dennis from New Zealand ,just found your channel, will watching forever
Welcome aboard 👍🏼👍🏼
It probably is the best of the bunch. Also, several years ago, I want to Wales, and this brings back a lot of memories! Thank you.
Thanks! Yes certainly 👍🏼
Awesome bike. Wish I could afford it!
It’s a great ride I have one in this red better than the bobber I can Tell you you can get them 0n the used cheaper than rand new I did 🏴👍🏻🙋♂️🗳
Since Triumph added water cooling Harley Davidson is now less of a bike in my opinion. Triumph has always been a beloved brand in America and has now surpassed HD. I would say that Indian and Triumph are the top brands now. Americans won't buy a BMW cruiser.
OK, interesting points! 👍🏼👍🏼
We’d buy BMW’s but there aren’t that many dealers around in comparison. The BMW R18 looks like an amazing bike.
I've had MANY Triumph, Harley and BMW. The worst being BMW. I was impressed with my 900cc triple 1st offering engine but it was horrible in a strong crosswind. Most of my Harley were mechanical junk but stable. The R100RS was just junk, period.
My new black and white Speedmaster arrived yesterday. Can't wait for the new season.
Wow awesome 💯👍🏼
Very good review. All a rider needs to know is well explained. Thanks for the review
Thanks! Glad it was helpful
Hopefully i will be getting a Speedmaster sometime soon! I am 5.5 (1.68 cms) and this bike fits me like a glove. I would be putting mid controls on it and a different handle bar. It s the perfect cruiser for a guy my height and for the distances in my country, Panama🇵🇦. I was torn between this and the bobber, but the practicality of the Speedy won at the end. We have a dealership here in Panama, so that s always good. Thanks for the review Ol' man! Greetings from Central America.
Great looking bike, enjoyed your review and the sights around your new digs.
Thanks buddy 💯👍🏼
Great video, your camera shots with the back drop are very artistic. I test drove the Speedmaster last week for 2 hrs having never ridden a forward control motorbike. It is a gorgeous machine, but being 6ft although not as broad as yourself I felt I was hanging off of it, my sizes 10s felt like they would slip off the forward pegs and I had to grip the beach bars at 60mph as I felt I was sliding off, I also grounded the pegs on a couple roundabouts and i was not going that fast, maybe 30mph.I tried sitting on a Bobber to see what mid controls would feel like and my legs felt squeezed. Shame really as I was starting to do the money sums! I am surprised as such a well built guy you seemed to be more comfortable than myself. Maybe I need another demo, keep up the videos, they are top job
Thanks buddy. Yes I found it fine. Love it!
About to purchase a 2022 Speedmaster LE, but was torn between it and the T-120 matt black. At 63, the lumbar cushion, forward controls and just overall comfort tipped the needle to the Speedmaster. And then I saw this excellent review, and I realized I made the right choice. At first, I did miss the twin gauges of the T-120, but you do make a good point about it being simple yet having all you need right there in one spot. And at 5'7", although I could flat foot the T-120, the Speedmaster was even more so, which at stops, made life a bit easier. I also looked at the HD Sportsters, but for me, the Bonneville is the better bike for the buck, hands down.
Excellent! You have made the right choice. It’s a motorcycle you’ll never tire of and a beauty to look at
@@MrDarcy-OlMan How does it compare in your expert eyes to the T120 and the Bobber? I looked at those as well...
@@rabukan5842 The T120 is taller but your knees are pretty bent. It’s also a bit sharper handling (not always a good thing depending on your needs).
The Bobber is more similar to the Speedmaster but the rear end will have you covered in muck if the roads are wet.
Speedmaster is most comfortable and most enjoyable to ride. The best Bonneville in our opinion 👍🏼
@@MrDarcy-OlMan Thank you sir. You said it the first time - I made the right choice :) I am in Okinawa, where roads are either wide open, or very tight, and often wet. I believe I will love my Speedmaster. If you get out this way, take it for a spin around the island :)
I bought the 2020 just over a year ago. Cobalt blue. Love it. Added the Motone Customs bar risers. Riding position (arms and back) was good before, better now. I’m 6’ 1” but ancient of days, so I appreciate the comfort. Stunning countryside you’ve got there. Thanks for an excellent review. Of course, your opinion exactly coincides with my own. 😉
Thanks buddy! Great to hear about your experience with the bike! 💯👍🏼
Great looking bike, feels like it is superb on touring around. Cool review, as usual...keep it up!
I like the seat. Like the tires. Love the headlight. The tank is cool. Fix the sound. I think I need to hear it in person. Thanks for the review!
Yes it’s superb!
The scenery in your shots in beautiful. Great looking and sounding bike. Awesome review.
Thanks buddy 💯👍🏼
Came back to this review and really now tempted to make this my next daily/tourer and add my bags, some heated grips and a small touring screen, I loved the Rocket but missed the burble and nice to have something low and less than 300kgs again 😎 nice review sir!
Awesome. Thanks buddy
Ordered my Speedmaster in September, in same colour as the review, but got to wait until December for delivery. Can’t wait to get riding again.
Awesome! Great choice 👍🏼👍🏼
Great review and beautiful countryside!

Me too . This is an amazing bike !
I have seen most of the speedmaster review vdos but this one is the best.. bike looks fresh n new.. beautiful✌☄🌟
Thanks very much 👌🏼
Great video! Might have to visit my dealer just based on the chrome rims and spokes.
It’s a stunning bike! Take your wallet 😏
I bought mine back in April 2021, I absolutely love it. It is a way better built bike then my 2006 H-D Duce was, and so much nicer to ride. Almost a year old, and I have damn near 5000 miles on it already which is more then that Duce every got on it before I sold it.
Awesome! 💯👍🏼

First of all congratulations with the beautiful new living environment and the beautiful house.
It's a little weird without Darcy's interruptions, but he'll do well.
I will continue to look forward seeing you both and look forward to your next trip together @ Wales.
I'm looking forward to the road king test drive.

Thanks buddy. Yes it’s nicer to do it with Darcy but he’s coming down soon and we have a bike to review together 👍🏼👍🏼
I saw one yesterday. Absolutely a gorgeous motorcycle.
It is indeed 👍🏼
I’m inspired! The goatee, is on point! The Triumph is about less is more. Nice work here mate.
Thanks buddy. Much appreciated 👍🏼👍🏼
great job!!!! love your reviews. I have a 2020 Bobber TFC, but I was looking for something to ride everyday. I am torn between the Speedmaster and the Bonneville T120. After your review it definitely tipped the scales!
Thanks again,
D
Brilliant! Thanks buddy! Really glad our review helped 💯👍🏼
Had my 1200 Speedmaster for 2 years now. Lovely engine and great looks. The negatives are tank too small for touring in Australia, suspension bottoms out on Aussie B roads jolting my 63 year old back, forward controls scrape on tight corners (fixed with mid controls), and the worst is lack of tubeless tyres. Great bike for a doddle close to home but can’t be considered for touring. Love it every time I get on it, and keep admiring my reflection in shop windows as I ride past, but keep it as a second bike to my Versys 1000 for serious rides. Keep up the good work.
Great to hear your story bro! Thanks buddy 👍🏼
I have the America andlive in Brisbane , so far I have had 360 klm from one tank, love my bike will upgrade the rear suspension
Looks stunning, I have been looking at a new bike lately and I’ll defo be giving this a test ride! It looks and sounds like what I have been after.
It is a brilliant motorcycle!
This bike is gorgeous!
If only I could ride again.

Awesome review smiled all the way through 👍
Thanks bro 👍🏼👍🏼
Truly beautiful bikes. I had a Bonny 750 in the late 70s and it was gorgeous but it also contributed massively to the development of my leg muscles by having to push the bloody thing so often when it broke down. Now I see that as part of its charm but then I just saw it as a pain and I couldn’t wait to swap it for a Japanese bike. The foolishness of youth eh?
Lol yes it’s character!
The Speedmaster is deluxe. I have a 'just the facts ma'am' 650 Interceptor.. everything you need and nothing you don't.. comfy ergos and touch wood, reliable. takes me back to the '70s when I had legs and a back. My MC pushing/bench pressing days are over. lol
The old bonnies were the simplest engines to keep running. You can set the points by eye. Swap the twin carbs for the tiger single if you can't sinc 'em.
Great review…thanks! I have a 2020 model, off white tank with the hand painted lines. Agree, excellent bike and easy ride with lots of torque. Two up is also effortless. Negative is definitely the small tank. In NZ and get maybe 220km on a tank with smooth riding. I am 5’6 and handle it very easily. Suspension preload settings work great. Play around with it for a smoother ride. Keep the reviews coming 😎
Great to hear! Thanks buddy 💯👍🏼
Love it. But I adore my single owner (ME!) 2016 Street Twin still. Maybe I can convince the missus that she would enjoy the pillion on this more than the ST. Then I can have best of all worlds
Haha yes totally 👍🏼👍🏼
All these videos are helping me a lot. I am planning to get my first motorcycle and as a tall man I need to decide which would be the most suitable one. Thank you!
No problem buddy 👍🏼👍🏼
I test drove the Bobber and loved it!! I am really considering a speed master for a light touring bike! The opinions from Triumph are impressive.
The Speedmaster is awesome 👌🏼
Great review. Love the Speedmaster. Beautiful scenery at your new place. Enjoy
Thanks buddy! Yes isn’t it 👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you for the wonderfull review🤙
Thanks buddy 💯👍🏼
I agree with you that motorbike is beautiful as is your Welsh countryside side, similar to my Cumbrian lake district . A good review, I could watch that all day.
Thanks very much indeed 💯👍🏼
I own a 2010 Triumph Thunderbird 1600. It’s a great bike. After replacing the 2X4 that came on it with a Mustang seat, it’s comfortable, stops and handles well with plenty of power. Triumph stopped production a few years ago. I’m guessing because it didn’t meet their sales goals. If they were to update it, get rid of the leather bags and use hard lockable panniers I would buy one. To this day I get compliments on it, even from Harley riders.
Awesome! Great to hear. 👍🏼👍🏼
Great review! Stunning views! Stunning motorcycle...
I did ride a Speedmaster about 5 years ago but I preferred my Softail Deluxe. However, I suspect Triumph have improved it a lot since then. One of the things I didn't like was you appear to sit on top of the bike, whereas on the Harley, you sit more in the bike. I must try and ride one again as the price is very good, its a lot lighter than the Harley, plus the bike looks amazing...
Thanks buddy. Yes it’s really good. The Softail Deluxe is too! 👍🏼
I just purchased a Speedmaster and I absolutely love it! Your review was spot on and part of the reason I bought this bike vs an Indian Scout. (Not to mention the scout is probably more suited for shorter riders than the Speedmaster.)
Awesome! Thanks bud. Enjoy that beautiful bike 👍🏼👍🏼
Awesome bike, I totally agree. I have had one since 2019 and it has been both beautiful to ride and faultless. Great review.
Excellent! Thanks buddy 👍🏼
I collected mine last week and am finding it great fun. Fantastic bike which offers a lot in a very tidy package ie.traction control, two riding modes and twin discs upfront. Sounds great. As someone who has a disability it is easy to maneuver, and coming from a Harley I find it light and well put together. A quality ride!
Excellent! Yes agreed 💯👍🏼
Great Review Thank You ! You’re right ! I tested one today, traded my T-100 in without hesitation. I am having the foot controls moved back to center. I am not a Big tall guy like yourself, Im 5-10 and 160 lbs and this bike fits beautifully , It feels better to me with the foot controls back. Excellent Channel Sir, thanks for spot on reviews ! 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ And beautiful Countryside indeed 😎
Thanks buddy! That’s interesting to hear. Fabulous bike! 💯
Absolutely love the reviews you do. I really like how you don't dwell on specs too much and talk more about useful things. Bike looks amazing. Only question is it seems it puts your wrists at a bit of an outward angle which looks uncomfortable, especially if you have to turn a lot. Any comments on wrist comfort?
Thanks buddy! Much appreciated.
It’s not too bad tbh, but if I was buying it, id put on wide bars with little pullback. Being taller, the standard bars work ok.
Great review, keep them up!
Thanks buddy 💯
Liked and subscribed. I've watched both this and the Gold Line reviews. Well done, excellent information and insights. I'm looking at the Speedmaster to replace my 2016 T120. I love my Bonnie more than any other bike I've had in 42 years of riding but my degenerative back issue is degenerating faster than expected and I figure I need the lower seat and more forward controls to keep on riding. I figure a sidecar will also be necessary soon and I believe the Speedmaster will be good for that.I don't really want a Harley or anything too big or heavy, though I'm 6'2" with a 30" inseam, 290#. Beautiful countryside there, I live in the rurals of Ontario Canada.
Welcome aboard! Thanks very much 👍🏼👍🏼
I've always thought this bike would be a cool ride but never had a chance to get on one. Nice review, and it is a good thing you think so highly of it. You were speaking about the BMW cruiser so well...and I happen to have a dealer close by that has several in stock and has a demo. Now I have to go and check it out.
Thanks buddy. Take your wallet 😉👍🏼
What a beautiful looking bike,it’s looks so very comfortable in its riding position, great video as always.👍🏻
Yes absolutely! Thanks buddy 💯
Speedmasters are delightful and delicious bikes. I prefer my Thruxton TFC a bit more , but the Speedys are just comfortable fun .
Yes indeed 💯
Great video. Thank you. Gorgeous bikes
Thank you! More triumphs coming soon!
