We are a father & son team, and are passionate about motorcycling! We look at motorcycles from an every day riders perspective. We love style, character and the cool factor, but are not power freaks, so we tend to look more at Modern Classics, Real Classics, Cruisers and anything that we think is interesting, as well as a few that we aren't 'into.' We tell you how it is, so we will point out failings (like short mudguards or fenders) and design trends that should end (like the over use of gold anodised forks).
We film using professional equipment, and with great audio, so you can HEAR the motorbikes like you were there! Our videos are cinematic, entertaining and beautifully produced. We present to camera and show the motorcycles in great detail. We also make occasional lifestyle motorcycle videos covering interesting topics.

They look 🌟 Me wanty one. Also, love the sound. Got A Xmax 300 now, and I like that pace of going around
Cool review Darcy, diversity is good in bikes as well as humans. There’s room for all types. Ending shots and audio are amazing.
Picking up a new Rebel Black Hunter this week, here in Vancouver, BC. Had a deposit on a Triumph Speed 400, but chose this as I'm returning riding after nearly 30 years, and figure this will be good for now. Love the sound!
I wish they had a date for a USA release. I have a INT650 and am in lobe with it. Want to do some adventure riding with my mates. This is what i want to buy.
Everyone is so obsessed with acceleration and speed no one has the capacity to enjoy riding around and taking in the sights , faster and faster but they never think of the danger.
The LCD display kind of ruins the classic look, I'd much rather see an analogue fuel gauge for example. If it's classic then it's classic so no digital screens or lcd screens thanks.
The review that made me buy the RE Int. Thank you! ❤
Great bike. Superbeauty... Old typschein..for Mafia...musthave...russenbock
You make that bike look tiny, dude. xD
I just bought a Suzuki T 500 from 71, my first Mc in 72 love the old two-stroke 😍
Nice video. Depressing the plunger on the carb in order to flood the float chamber is known as "tickling" the carb.
😎 Now if they did a scrambler option...
Don't look at the bike. Look at the man. He's the type of person you have to be to enjoy this bike. Calm, down-to-earth, enjoying design features, enjoying nature. If you're the opposite personality, you probably don't enjoy the bike as well.
Ps all british bikes, you had to slow down gently, OR HOPE, AND if not working try look for a farmers field, or haystack, JUMP AND PRAY, I LOVED AND STILL LOVE THEM, and people still think i am strange, a woman riding a true proper british bike x
I used to have a Jawa 350 40 years ago and bolted it to a home made side car initially before getting a Watsonian chasis. Did struggle with someone in the sidecar but a 17 it was a total laugh. Paid £80 for it
The brakes would have been better in those days because they were designed for asbestos based brake linings which of course are no longer available.
Hi its me the horse whisperer, no force equines FOREVER LET THEM CHOOSE. X I USED TO RIDE RED HUNTER, I LOVE THE RIGHT HAND GEARS, NEVER COULD GET USED TO Left hand on xl,,, but loved trials, british were hard to buy trials, and costly so got xl, still prefer 1 up 3 down etc, if about come to Count Draculars country, tons bikes x
Love your channel but please drop the handy chin thumbnails as they’re getting ridiculous
fantastic review and wonderful scenes
Thank you!
You need to grab a ride on a pre-unit Royal Enfield Bullet, either 350 or 500. 1935 design, built in the UK until 1955 or so, then in Chennai India until 2008. Their DLS front brake works well enough , the 4 speed is much like the Ariel, it won't be hurried. An affordable antique!
Good to see you on an actual classic… would be great to see you put a BSA A7 against an Interceptor or a BSA B40 against a RE Hunter 350 perhaps… the modern bikes will win on brakes 😳🤣 but charm, character and looks I suspect would be an easy win for the actual classics.. good video 👍🏻
My 1982 Honda had (/ has) Drum Brakes, twin Leading up front and single rear, setting them up is (or seems to be becoming) a lost art, you gotta start out dressing the shoes with a file and they still need to bed in, though yes, looking / thinking ahead is how you spend your time, rather than gawping at a screen. I'll wager you're not aiming for Ton Up Club membership Mr. Darcy. Your Brother's right though, tickle the carb before starting (but I advise you don't suggest you may "get Chigee" with this one - jus' sayin').
Even as I was writing the above, I was thinking I should include cleaning the glaze off the inside of the brake drums with Emery Cloth when fitting new shoes.. ..roughing up the linings doesn't hurt either.
2005 650 vstar looked like a 1200 Paid 6500 and 300 extra for a good sounding exhaust that was not crazy loud. I wish for those prices again😂 well this bike isn't far off
What a ridiculous monstrosety. The opposing twin just doesnt fit on a motorcycle. Give me a yamaha or harley please.
Hi thanks for amazing video you did. I considering to by a breakout 114 as my first bike but some friends are telling that it not confortable and I will be desapoited with ride position and pain it causes on pilots back. Is it true? Is there customization we can do to avoid this situation?
Love your reviews! It would be interesting to see a head to head with the RE classic 350! They are basically (almost) the same on paper.
What is the top speed on smooth level ground? Thanks.
To be honest, I think 400cc & 40bhp is the best of both worlds, enough to hold its own on a motorway and nimble enough for back lanes... hence my Scrambler.. love it, I think 17-20 bhp is just too low, but I love the looks of the the Enfield classic. Maybe Triumph (Bajaj) should make a 40hp Classic. I bet that'd fly outta the showrooms... Ride safe👍😎
If I trade my KTM enduro bike, I’m gonna buy one of those.♥️
You spent most of the time whining about your mistake😂..
Yes I did, this channel is as much about us as it is about bikes 👍🏻
Hi guys. So just a throw out there. I'm nigh ready to purchase. And I wanted to know if you would choose. Would you get a sportster 1200 or a softail standard? Thanks guys
(If I may be so bold.. 😉) 'Horses for courses and two very different Steeds, the Sportster S airs more toward nutter territory (in answer to all the ignoramuses who ever asked "Why do they call it a Sportster?) and residing in Big Twin country (and I understand that M8 is awesome, 'hearing no nay saying poor reports from anyone).. It's what you're after, mixing it with the sport bike brigade, or what I consider, the more traditional Harley (which not only performs outstandingly, but may be your life long companion). Hope this helps, 'feel free to scrutinize and challenge..
Still got my 97 Fat Boy. Never sell it.
Nature and houses❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Remember this , with out past engineering history ,we would not be so advanced as we are today, people who take the piss out of classic bikes don't really under stand any form of engineering at all. I ride my classic with pride and understanding it's limitations.
I would only have a classic bike with a 8” twin leading shoe Front brake, hence I have a 69 Triumph Daytona 500 and boy does it stop, you have to be careful not to lock it up in the wet though, no ABS 😱 if you get the chance to ride a bike with that brake you’ll be pleasantly surprised. ❤️ the video 👍
Jesus cannot beleive what am hearing complicated starting proceedure ???? Alll Amal carbs until the Amal Mk11 Concentric model as found on the Triumph T140E of 1978/79 had the little plunger the proceedure was known as "tickling" the carb . and it's no more complicated that the proceedure for starting my 2002 Ducati Monster 620 . As for the brakes well they seriously need looking at and the dealer should be ashamed of letting a bike out onto the road with such poor brakes they obviously are relying upon the fact that they no longer need an MOT. Also if properly set up the engine should only require a couple of kicks to start and often will fire up first kick. You can thanks the Yanks for the left hand gear shift as they decided that only left hand shift would be allowed to be inported in USA of course the Japs were already left hand shift. Nice bit of Anti British legislation there and they claim to be our allies? Now I am not expert but as far as I recall Ariel used a Burman gearbox and it should not be clunky like that and 5 speeds did not really come in until the 1970's back to Triumphs and Bonnies they proudly displayed a sticker just about the rear light that said 5 Speed. and did so until about 1977 from my observations at that time my 79 T140E did not have one. Now again from memory compression on the HUntmaster is about 9:1 and there was decent petrol available back then not like the crap we have to pu up with now. BTW my first proper bike was a 66 Norton Jubilee 250cc on L plates in 83 was riding a BSA Bitza with M20 Plunger frame and Burman gear box mated to a 58 B31 (350) alternator type engine. It ran a dry clutch in a modified chain case to fit the alternator which was rewired to give 12v using an Aeriel Oil tank (oddly enough) and a Norton Jubilee petrol tank and BSA forks rear wheel had a QD hub form an unknown model laced to a 16" rim and braking was not an issue you could lock up the rear even with teh fat 5;10 rear tyre the front did have a BSA twin Leading shoe wheel as I said it was built out of parts. You need someone who knows what they are doing to go over that Huntmaste and set it correctlyand safely.
I have the previous iteration - a '23 plate CB500X.....a much better looking machine IMHO. I even turn around and sneak a look when it's parked up!
Price, removable, touch screen with gloves, legitimate to use whilst riding? Yeah, great review!!?
This is a legendary bike. I don't know much about about the legacy but BSA and Jawa where bigshots during World war II. This was dying company ,now an Indian brand(Under Classic legends )and on its path to revival. Beautiful machine.
What was the bike though lol enjoyable 😁👍
That front brake should work better than that....
First , Respect you and your opinion and integrity . But why couldn't you ride through a puddle ! New shoes ? 63 , and very experienced rider, Moved to Cuenca Ecuador. Riding a Honda Navi . Love it. But need a bike nimble enough to navigate and park . But also enjoy the mountains and get me to the coast . 3 and a half hours away. City riding is 95 % of what I do. All year long . Love your video . Muchas gracias !!!
Thank you! Yes exactly that new boots and they weren’t waterproof haha
The bike is governed because of your age??
Yes!
Brother.. what kind of western boots are those?
you may have just sold me on an interceptor if i didn’t just see that RE is releasing a 650 scrambler based on this bike. ill be all over it when it comes out in the states! Great review!! really appreciate you stating your height too, as i am also 6’2 and tend to look awkward on some bikes
Can it boil water to make a cup of tea ?
Depends on your bodily dimensions
And all I want and I need is a good pub feed
These devices have been sold under various brand names for a while now. Couple of brands - for example - are Maxca and Binize. Many appear to be the same hardware - just sold under different brand names. Some sold on Ali Express are fairly cheap/inexpensive. I bought one off Ali Express for ~$125, IIRC. I've had no problems with it. It's worked as expected.
Does the 475 cam void the warranty on a new bike?
