I made my first pair of jeans (High waisted straight leg jeans) Sewing tutorial with pattern making

Hi everyone,
Welcome or welcome back to my channel. My name is Jess and I love doing DIY, making clothes in a "simply but pretty" way.
In today's video, I'm going to share with you how I made my first pair of jeans. This is a high waisted straight leg jeans. I can't believe that I made it. There are some techniques I didn't use to make this jeans as I didn't want to make it too complicated for my first time. But it turns out so good. So I hope you can get come inspiration out of it.
To make this jeans, please check out some of my basic information below:
- Sewing machine: Brother Auto Tension
- Material: 2m of silk cream denim fabric
- My body measurements: 80-68-92 (bust-waist-hip). I'm 165cm and usually wear Small size.

I love that it wasn't just two pieces joined at the crotch, a bit more work but it was worth it. I also liked the way you added the zipper 👍🏼

I was hoping that you would make this video, as i am loving you high waisted loose pants, so i am happy.
I am however finding it a little difficult to make my own pattern for the jeans, as the writing which is describing the measures are to fast to read. I still really appreciate your work, but a friendly suggestion from me would be to have the writing on the screen a little longer, and then maybe make sure that the voiceover fits with what is shown on the screen 😊 keep up the good work 👍

Yes, I was the same and still. Whenever thinking of sewing jeans, I feel hurt for my sewing machine. So make sure you have the right needle and thread for jeans before trying it out. Some parts of jeans really need a strong needle.

The width of the leg jeans is the circle at the end of the leg pants where it's right at your ankle.

I made this jeans with my normal sewing machine. For the needle and thread, I use the big needle size and thicker thread for jeans.
