Hi Jessie, I am confused about the hip measurement of 64 cms: what is the logis behind this number? My hips are 105, my upper leg circumference is 63/64 and seeing how my figure is a size 12 (40 in european) no way that those numbers would be the correct ones. Please advise 😉👍🏻
The shoe has dropped: so I measure the broadest part around my butt/hip, then add the 5+5+8+8 (which is substracted at the side of the pattern + my ideal seam allowance on the 4 sides (minimum of 4 cms). That is how you get the width of the upper side of the pants .

Yes of course! If you want to do it, better to have a cut at each side. So it'll be 4 pieces of the pants.

Sorry I'm a little confused. If you use your waist measurement for the entire pant, then wouldn't it be hard to slide over the hips?
Just check and make sure the width of the front and the back pants have to be bigger than your hip size
