i've read every bit of philosophy i can get my hands on and listened carefully to every success series that has been put out by great speakers.
i'm not sure why. but the only philosophy that keeps ringing in my head is this line...
some people are just not in line with the world and they stand against many. it's THE MOST DIFFICULT PATH to walk. there is something more to this than meets the eye. Conan is right... this is what God (/the higher order of the universe) might pay attention to and regard highly... look at Christ.
i feel like every truly great individual (not just worldly successes, but unknown great souls) has had truly overwhelming adversity. something has to forge them into gleaming, shining steel souls.
