I invited FecalThunder once, but the screenshot allegedly showed some serious spamming.
They couldn't (read:didn't want to) provide the screenshot to me and kinda berated us without any clear evidence.

I'd suggest one of the Tirnenn, perhaps Groonoomcrooek or Cemnwyleeafee. Apparantly they have a meaning in Welsh or something, could be a fun puzzle for him to work out in his teenage years

Naming a child Arthas sounds cool, until you realize you're naming your child after a guy who famously murdered his father...
"Raid support" is essentially dedicated benchwarmers. You aren't actually on the team and only get bought for when the main raiders need time off for some reason or can't come. It's the only spot people actively recruit tanks for so i'm very familiar with it. If you are a tank and someone is trying to recruit you to such a position run very far very fast. Because it means that they only have 0-1 dps/healers in the raid that can fill in as tank if one of their tanks is out.
I love it when people say "english isnt my first language" then proceed to use perfect english with sarcasm, idioms etc.
If their English is bad I'd imagine Bex would fix it anyway

Wiping poop is definitely not magical. Sometimes you’ll just have to go straight to the tub because it seeps out of their diaper and gets all over their clothes and hair. Then sometimes they’ll grab the poopy diaper and smear the wall or throw it on the floor. Pretty good stuff
Haha, I like the contract between the stories. At first you've got the US guild with its weird setup and people being kind of dumb and people are like "is this what NA raiding is like?" followed scant few minutes later by someone giving their WoW account info to someone they only know online so that that person can fly down to the UK from Germany and try to steal her away from her husband. Good to know no matter where you play WoW, there will be a healthy supply of idiots and creeps!
In "The Big Uh Oh" the Author forgot to mention that he was benched for a PUG Healer since a main and OS healer were missing that week

I think what happened was the result of a closely-knit clique deteriorating the decision-making and behaviour in a guild to the point all of this happened. I saw a screen of some PMs between "Hyde" and the GL and I was gobsmacked - I couldn't believe it was the same person. It's a shame. People take the game way too seriously.

Blackpool is one of the most deprived towns in the UK and parts of it are overflowing with drugs/booze/crime and general scum - but some of the nicest people I know are from there!
I don’t have time to full time raid. I would love to be raid support for a solid guild. I am also a decent gold farmer. In return..I would be fine with raiding when we have a raid on farm.
If you don't have time to full time raid, how do you figure you'd have the time to sit and wait every raid night in case they need you..?

as someone who played on private servers for ages, the easier the expansion the more pretentious wannabe professionals who take themselves too serious you will find
that generally means vanilla and wrath
the content is so easy that they dont have to focus on creating a competent raidteam that is able to clear content, literally every idiot can come and live in their bubble of being the best player ever and get an unearned ego

I'll immediately say that I agree with Hyde that you shouldn't have to gear through M+ if you raid, but that's how Blizzard is shaping the game. The guild isn't wrong for expecting it, it just means that Hyde and WoW are fundamentally at odds with each other, and I get it.

Sad to say, i completely agree with the guy and its one of the main reasons I quit retail. Wtf do i have to spend all day in M+ when I am in a raid guild. Raids should provide the best gear.
But.....if u haven’t raided yet, where are u supposed to get the gear to raid? This logic makes no sense to me. If a raid needs u to be a certain Ilvl to succeed, y should u not be required to properly gear ur self to be in a raiding guild?
I’m not saying I disagree that best gear should be in raids, but the situation was a player who would not gear up for the raid to start with.

@@Tankbot85 I mean, there's nothing stopping you from finding like-minded people. Guild I raided with had a 170ilvl requirement for normal.
Thats how wow works, if you cant dedicate one week to run dungeons, so you can peacefully raid after, thats a personal problems, and other people should not boost you. Get same mindset players and skip dungeons completely

"You missed out the entirety of Legion to play Wrath of the Lich King"? Every WotLK dungeon and raid (including Violet Hold, Occulus and Naxx 25) was more fun than the dungeons and raids in Legion. The Nighthold was really good, but the rest of the Legion raids and dungeons were average at best in my regards. And I'm looking forward to playing WotLK again, because it was just that fun.

Hi there, Im the rogue from uh oh hotdog (real guild name) whos talked about at 13:00. I paid to xfer, they treated me like absolute crap, and it was so heartening to see preach call them out for being the toxic people they are. my name is knockemstiff, no idea why they called me hyde. I couldn't have said it better myself.. why wouldn't I be annoyed or angry? im a 45 year old dude, not somebody who wants to go to guilds, create drama and offend people. I was treated with utmost dis respect however and this was an experience I likely wont forget easily. Preach was also correct in calling me a moron for agreeing to something like being told i might be sat and me saying I thought it wont really happen anyway. I can call myself out on that surely, dont know what i was thinking. I NEVER used racial slurs but they asked me to get fucked by a cow since im indian.. (i have Gm's screenshot). why would they slander me like that? weak as f.. The fight talked about is Council btw. He made me GM and boy was it poetic justice if there was ever one. Also I SOLD the guild to pexxy (darian) for 200k, i didnt pass it by being a dumbass (again have screenshots). Im not a toxic pos.. just a player who wanted to raid on US servers. Hope this sets the story straight.. Gm's name is Ozziez and the guild is on stormrage.
edit: gbank had 1.1 mil gold in it, and i got 200k for selling the guild. guess GM missed mentioning that part? I
