What I'm more afraid with the keys to delve chests is that it ends up like a gacha energy system. Sure you can get more keys from m+ or something but you can also just buy 5 more keys if you can give up 5 dollars

I used to play GW2 years ago and did want to raid, but was told by our raid leader I wasn't good enough to be included in the team because the raid play was extremely difficult. That was disappointing, but I understood once he explained how difficult mechanics were that if you made one small misstep, the raid would wipe. I remember the personal story dungeon setups and understood how poorly designed the game play was because, unless you were an uber player and had the very best gear, your personal story would fail. When I did my personal stories, at some I was able to group up with other guild mates to help me out but even then it was horribly over tuned and difficult. I no longer play GW2, which is sad because I started with the beta and had fun with it. But as I progressed I was mostly questing and learning the lore. Due to my mobility limitations with my hands, I was unable to do anything else.

I'm glad that you left it edited like this because this felt more like an actual conversation than simply a straightforward question and answer segment. I'm sure other people will whittle this down to simply the questions and answers for brevity but for me part of the joy and entertainment of seeing content like this is the actual conversation itself as you get to see how people accept the information being presented to them in real time along with whatever emotions come along with it.

What might be a solution is if AI tools could be better utilized, we can have personalized rogue dungeons that have some static pieces but can be catered to settings for dungeon length

This is the least exciting expansion ever setting and story wise im gonna play Elden Ring expansion first might this this in winter if we get snowed in.

Vasjir is probably one of the best zones Blizzard ever made. It was full of lore, it explored a part of Azeroth that we never got to see previously, it had a great story, I am really sad they didn't finish the Neptulon raid during the expansion (most likely due to negative backlash, something I don't understand even to this day). As for dungeons, early Cataclysm, precisely because of the difficulty, was the best dungeon experience I ever had in WoW, rivaled only by mythic seasons in Legion and partially in BfA (simply because I found all dungeons there to be amazing). The revamped SFK had such crazy mechanics, which were maybe a bit overtuned and were very unforgiving if you messed something up, but they were still doable, even in relatively crappy gear, as long as people paid attention. Halls of Origination is still one of my favourite dungeons to this day because of its sheer epicness and I'm so god damn sad people are usually skipping 3-4 bosses in that dungeon. Not just because I hate skipping bosses but because I like Egyptian mythology and think Setesh, Ammunae and Isiset have great and interesting mechanics. I also have to mention the two revanmped Zul instances, maybe they aren't on the level of previous raids, but are still very interesting and well done IMHO. I really like the fact you still get an extra mount in Zul'Aman provided that you do the mechanic properly. The last three added dungeons, well, who can hate the Well of Eternity? I was never a HC raiding person, so I kinda welcomed the addition of LFR. It was an interesting time, even with the content drought at the end. But it allowed me to level *all* classes to max level, I really wanted to play and I enjoyed everything I played at the time. It was the first time I tried healers and was maining a resto shammy for a while. Holy priest and holy paladin were similar but different at the same time. DPS was great with survival hunter and frost dk being my favourites. All in all, I cannot hate Cataclysm. It was my first full expansion (as I started in late WotLK, patch 3.3 has just started) and the experience I had was excellent. I had fun. That's all that mattered.

While the top guild race is amazing to watch, I kinda understand and feel as a player what asmongold said is true. The raids are being designed for the 0.001% players on mythic (at the very start at least) and that kinda messes with the experience of everyone else, as seen of players going back to classic eras. Both have pros and cons and I'm not trying to devalue anything here or anyone opinions.

Can't lie, as spot on as the series is as a whole, this first episode is full of entitlement in terms of what new players should expect, a simple press of M or reading the quest will tell you where to go, which I'm sure any new player can figure out whose played most any other PC game, secondly, boosting as a brand new player and complaining about not knowing what's going on is like starting a new show on Season 7 and complaining about not knowing the characters or plot, don't skip ahead

I started Conjurer/White Mage, and I get the GCD thing once I got to a certain point, it makes sense when you aren't playing Thaumaturge/Black Mage, Black Mage is very stuck to the ground, in way no one else is.

The worst part of Cata was that, on top of all the stated mistakes, Blizzard reworked every vanilla zone and then left all the level boosting from late WotLK. Yeah, every zone had updated quests, new stories, and new looks but players running alts would outlevel the stories before getting close to finishing them.

Yeah cata launch was such a shitshow. Funny thing is that the "wow is dead" was actually born during wotlk, like ppl on forum were REALLY saying wotlk "killed wow" but cryed liked babies when heroic dungeons had tactics at launch lmao. Truth is play when you enjoy and have some breaks when you don't have fun anymore but NEVER look at the forums posts to see if the game is curently good or not. Some ppl have been playing this game for the last 20 years crying at EVERY SINGLE PATCH

That Goodrich guy was an ass. My wife has always been better than I am at WoW. When she was struggling to improve as a DPS I suggested she try her Resto Druid. She did and became a Mythic healer. I was happy for her. I enjoyed playing just as much and tried to improve on my own time. No need to be a shit to her because she was better at the game than me.

I've played since 2.0 and skipped almost the entirety of this expansion. Don't feel like I missed much. Only took about 2 weeks to consume the content that felt neccessary to prepare for the next expansion. 1 more like Endwalker and I may decide this isn't the game for me anymore.
