I mean come on..... This is the final round of a big tourney and a virtual unknown is taking it down. Very little commentary on that or even what the guys chasing him need to do to catch him. There has got to be more than a vanilla description of each hole and shot.

Connor Rock! This guy has one of the smoothest most efficient putting strokes I’ve ever seen just landing feathers in the basket. How come I’ve never heard of this guy he should be winning everything! Did I hear he doesn’t have a disc sponsor? Somebody needs to jump on this guy? He’s a rockstar.
The lack of enthusiasm for some of these crazy scramble putts, and massive drives is just criminal!!

That is what you dream about... shooting a 14 down to win against some of the best in the business. When you talk about perfect pace on your putt Mr Rock is solid in that department. Right over the rim lands in the basket making it hard to ever chain out. Id like to see how he adjust in windy conditions.

Small piece of advice. While it didn't matter much, but don't mention someone getting the only eagle on the day before someone on the card attempts their eagle putt. Ruined the suspense on if Connor was going to make his putt or not.

Every tournament the winner gets a couple good breaks or non rollaways. Those can be a 2 or 3 shot difference. Great coverage thanks

@@youtubeifinessedurvc-1747 Stating facts isn't hating. Golf is about managing misses and there's always some good fortune that plays into it. There's many things that you can't control after the disc has left your hand and the guy that has the tightest game and right amount of luck usually wins

14 down, could have gone for 15, but played safe. So many bulls-eye shots from Connor. Well deserved win. Sad that Gannon had so many chain=outs this tournament, but he will get another chance. It's not always about how you start, but how you finish. And Connor proved that today. Might just be me but when there are still players on the hole who can get an eagle and the commentators say, "so and so was the only eagle on the day" it totally takes me out of the coverage and spoils what could be a sick shot.

I think this production could benefit from bringing in a pro that has played in these tournaments to help with commentary. I like how the Jomez guys provide insight about what the players are going through emotionally, different strategies on holes, etc. This coverage felt like it was missing something like that

Now hear me out. Inexperienced athletes can make good commentators. But high caliber athletes that are currently touring pros know so much more about the game. Jomez is it! It also helps that they don’t put me to sleep like GKM
Completely agreed it's great that they put out coverage, but the commentating is a snooze fest. There's so much dead air, lack of enthusiasm and they commentate on all the low hanging fruit. They don't really add anything to the coverage. It seems a reason why they did unplugged stuff for awhile too
I completely agree with this. I haven't watched anything past the first round as it was so damn boring... Make some jokes, add some personality to it. Love seeing more options but could use some work.

Need way more colorful commentary. Talk about the scores and position, who's chasing who etc. This was an exciting round but you'd never know it based on the commentary.

More like they're doing the best they can given the financial circumstances and a skeleton crew. While I would like to see some willing and experienced pros do the commentary here, it doesn't appear Gatekeeper could get them. And even if they did, people would complain about them anyways.

The editing on the green is so boring. I think you should skip to when the player is actually putting.

If the basket was the issue, ALL of the players would have had the trouble Gannon had (like Prodigy baskets for example). Gannon just needs to adjust his putt with respect to his distance from the basket. Same goes for his roll-always. If you putt hard, the round disc will tend to roll when it hits the ground, physics. Love the coverage and professional commentary. Wish all commentators would ditch the drivel.

When you’re as good as Gannon is, not executing a shot like you want is frustrating. Don’t be quick to judge what he is frustrated with…clearly he knows the difference between a miss and a spit out.

He's one of the few players who consistently cheats via the foot fault. I think it's a big deal.

there's a reason this course isn't an elite series anymore. One of the worst courses on tour for sure. Commentary was fine but could be better.
