As a German i can confirm that I know who Steve Jobs is, and know what Star Wars is
Why after he says "I think capnis missing some important history there" I scroll and immediately see a mobile game ad with HitIer 💀
lmao
Yes, Sean Connery Scotland’s finest English legend
He said British not English, Scottish people are not English, but still British at least until Scotland becomes an independent country
@@mzekelosebeni8989 Even if they become independent, they’ll still be British.
Technically, but only in the way that Canadians are American.
@@bobson3014 Except Scottish people are routinely referred to as “British” in English, unless you’re speaking Spanish or in a part of the world that refers to North, South, and Central Americans as a collective, no, we don’t call Canadians Americans. American is exclusively reserved for people from the United States of America, nobody else.
@@muhammadlee- Scottish people are British in every sense of the word currently, so that's my point.
Canada is in America, but when we say American we mean the United States.
When we say British, we mean the UK.
He's freaking American he's Captain America if it doesn't make sense to a different audience then Americans that's perfect for the character
But not very entertaining. Imagine sitting and watching Captain America and nothing makes any sense because the character is American. Hollywood is enjoyed the world over yknow
@@playstationarusu has somebody living in New Zealand and quite aware that Hollywood is enjoyed the world over but one of the list Port Captain America was only British icon add imagine if you're interested enough to look at a list for a movie prop it might make more sense to be seen to the character like I'm not trying to pickle on it it just doesn't make sense it's like people changing the red white and blue to different flags on Captain America's costume because people might want to see their own countries flag it's a little silly
@@playstationarusudude it's one scene where you would have to pause and pay close attention to even notice it. They barely changed anything else about the movie.
@@Monkeylighthouse That is a complete lie considering all current MCU movies have this exact issue. Watered down "Everyman" characters instead of the actual comic book heros/anti-heroes/villains they are supposed to be playing. Disney needs shutdown and split up.
@@defectiveparts8604 I don't know what that has to do with what I said but ok
No way they are cooking this hell 🔥🔥
The fun part is that they absolutely could save on budget by just filming the same scene but with the notebook turned to different pages.
He should have put Knight Rider and David hasselhoff for Germany
....why?
@@azrael7554 Germany a Huge fan of Knight Rider and David Hasselhoff and it's All-American at the same time
@@johnknight2012 first time im hearing that, spend my childhood watching bud spencer and terence hill
That dude is a LEGEND in Germany. They shoulda had him running Hydra now that I think about it. Imagine following K.I.T.T. to the location of the soul stone
Wtf? Really? Interesting!
They didn't think Germans would get references to a highly popular space opera series, and to the man who revolutionized modern cell phones?
Yeah, and the fall of the Berlin wall was purely an American thing, as anybody who went to school in the USA hallucinates it.
Interestingly, in the whole shebang, there was zero Amerivan involvement, when East-Germans insisted on an implementation of Gorbachev's Perestroika in East-Germany in 1988/1989. And then they stormed the wall, ad yet again without any US support.
I.e., in it's purely chauvinistic fashion of condensed ignorance they happily ignored the existence of a Sowjet driven German country, thr Peresrokoa, the free elections in 1990, the referendum for the re-unification, and it's inplementation.
Took this man 60 seconds to give us the answer when he couldve gave it to us in 5 seconds at most.
In France, he noted "France 98" (year we won the Football World Cup), actor "Louis de Funès" and even the "Daft Punk"
I bet the chinese version he wrote "nothing happened in Tiananmen square"
I‘m German and I See Both Version and Never realized 😂❤
In the Italian list there are:
- World Cup Championship - 1982, 2006
- Vasco Rossi
- Roberto Benigni
- Ferrari's victories at F1 Grand Prix
Why is there a big gap from 1939 to 1945 ?
German: EVERYONE WAS ON VACATION
the fact that they put Vysotsky and "Moscow does not believe in tears" is really wholesome
Since the multiverse exists, this is technically canon.
Glad that Cap was making he got caught up on a German festival that started happening before he was born
“Hey America? Yeah it’s me Germany. I think you know why I’m calling. It’d be a huge favor bro”
He was alive when that important history was there
Australia's was a little different too. Ours had AC/DC, space travel, Steve Irwin (Rest in peace to that bloody legend), Skippy the Bush Kangaroo and Tim Tams, but of course it still had the ones that remained the same across all versions (those being Thai, Star Wars/ Trek, Nirvana (yikes), Rocky (and Rocky 2) and Troubleman).
They didnt cover the emu war?
Troubleman?
Vro said Nirvana yikes like acdc is any better stuff it goof
That's really dumb.
Tim Tams are awesome, but still you know how stupid that was. right?
Marvel wasn't forced they just changed a detail
The Soviet union, yuir graganin, Berlin wall, and the moon landing is bringing so many memories when I learned about it
Neat little detail
Cap became Mister Worldwide
I like to imagine that all of those were on Cap's full list, they were just on other pages.
to be fair, he was there for that important part
“The serum makes it so then I don’t get drunk” “huh what’s Octoberfest I bet that’ll be fun” *gets completely sloshed while Germans order 2 more beers each*
He did not miss Germany's history 😂 he was there.
(I made a stupid joke, for those who're too stupid to recognise, why did I make the joke? WE'RE ON THE FUCKING INTERNET)
You do know that things happened in germany _after_ WWII as well, right?

All he needs to know is that the painter is dead, and that he no longer needs to think about Germany anymore
I mean come on...Steve knew what Germany was doing back in the day. He lived it.
Captain America: Aww shucks, I missed Oktoberfest.
It happens every year, just wait a few mon-
Captain America: Nope, its never happening again. I missed it forever!
germany: good thing no one painter came in the marvel movie
ww1 germany: i will come next time
austrian painter: did you forgot about me
What the fuck are you saying
AND WHY WOULD THAT BE? ITS BECAUSE THESE MOVIES ARE MADE TO BRAINWASH EVERYONE.
It’s just made so an audience from X country can better relate to his experience.
This blokes the king of waffling on
He's Captain "America" no changes needed.
Me watching this: “Yeah, they definitely had to change the ‘wipe him and start over’ scene, that was a little much- the fuck you mean they changed the notebook scene?!”
I like how Thai Food is a constant through pretty much all of them 😍
This scene was in Winter Soldier. You made it seem at the beginning like you were talking about the first Captain America movie.
So glad he went back in time and didn't have to live in man-hating America-hating present; that dance with his girl so wholesome and beautiful
I’m in the uk, and never knew we had a different version. I always thought we had the American version
“OKTOBERFESTT” i screamt, my tf2 obbsesion cannot stop 😭
America thinking the rest of the world doesn't know about history in the world. 🤣🤣
America really thinks everyone outside of them is a caveman init 😂
My favorite TV line:
-It says nothing about the Germans before 1942.
- we were not here, we were invited to have a party in Austria!
For the German version: As far as Hilter and the nazis, he already knew the outcome. He litterally fought in WWII and by the time he crashed the plane Red Skull and Hitler were being stomped out. If you remember back to the map of all of factories Red Skull had, they were all over Europe. If the history was the same, after the D day landings Capt would have had almost a year to take out the facrories and he was prob well aware what the allied forces were doing vs Hilter. I would guess Marvel figured that history was obvious (also everyone wasn't speaking german when he woke) and prob wanted to show that Germany has a rich culture that is worth looking into.
Didn’t know, bro was actually captain of the fucking world now bro I thought he was just the United States
On American list they miss: "We Nuke two cities with just civilian, we are the bad guys"
Better think that this is not the different versions of missing things, but the different pages of the same note
Cap knows the war is over I think bro doesn’t want to look at Germany as bad people anymore
Captain America wanting to go to Oktoberfest
Currywurst is not fried sausage. It is sliced Bratwurst with a tomato sauce with a seasoned curry-paprika powder on it. It was created in Berlin in 1949 and it is delicious and served with a side of fries (Pommes).
The German List was as followed:
- Currywurst
- Moon Landing
- Berlin Wall (Up + Down)
- Oktoberfest
- Disco
- Thai Food
- Star Wars/Trek
- Nirvana (band)
- Rocky (Rocky II?)
- Troubleman (soundtrack)
so much effort for a scene that only last 2 seconds that nobody even notice
I wonder if he watched Fantastic Four and saw himself as the Human Torch 😂
For you non-wrestling fans, this reminds me of a hilarious bit wwe had to change for their German audience.
There is a PPV named after a match type where 6 wrestlers fought in a structure where they would eliminate each other one by one via pinfall or submission until there was one left.
In Germany, they named the PPV "No Escape" simply because the original name was "Elimination Chamber"
He should added visit Nasa and He would have been shocked to find out which engineers helped them with that.
The real reason is that the original list was full of product placements, which are illegal in a lot of countries.
I love how Star Wars is the only thing crossed out on his list. Man really said fuck history, I’m gonna watch Revenge of the Sith
The long gone old times when Marvel used to care about the details to ensure a high-quality movie 😢
