That is why we have the gift of faith. Jesus redeems us and the mercy of God our loving Father is Endless! Stay strong 🙏🏼 faith is a gift to go through the tough times and rejoice in the good ones!
The beauty of Jesus is he never stops believing in us even when we don’t believe in ourselves. Faith is hard we all question it to. But each day is different day and another day to do better than the last day. Jesus knows we stray from our paths every know and again that’s why we must trust and confide in him even when we lose our way. All we have to do is have faith in him and he will lead us back to path ahead.
As a recovering alcoholic and addict who relapsed after being saved,this resonates in every way. The shame, the regret, the feeling of not being good enough…..but God…..He was waiting with open arms when I came back!

I’m no biblical scholar but I have done studies on the lives of the disciples and ALL of them were (wait for it) sinners, flawed, not perfect!! I had a demon twice in my life, first time was redeemed after getting on my knees. Second time I had to learn my lesson and suffer extreme suffering to the point I almost tore my left eye out. However after 4 years, that demon is gone now and I praise the Lord Jesus for always being at my side even when I didn't deserve it. And yes I did drugs.
any time the enemy reminds you of your past, you remind it of it's future. The opposer has no hope, for only destruction awaits him, punishment for all the suffering it has caused all of us. Our future is one filled with hope. Christ has given up his life for all of us.

I could watch this scene a thousand times. I was clean and sober for 17 years, then “gave it all up” as Mary so painfully puts it. It took twelve years before the desire was finally lifted, and it was all God, no strength of my own. That shame is what holds us back- in whatever sin or addictions keep us captive. We can’t lift our heads no matter how badly we want to. The love of God is so palpable, so powerful, and so redemptive, that once we accept the forgiveness- that is what brings the freedom. God is for us and His love puts our sins as far apart as the east is from the west. I pray that anyone reading this in the grip of despair and failure and heartbreak will accept God’s love. Jesus’ beautiful heart breaks for us. His love is immeasurable. He is the God of a thousand chances. Shame is the captor- Jesus longs for our freedom, longs for us, fights for us when we can’t. Let Him love you back into wholeness. I pray for all the sick and suffering addicts, the slaves of their own demons- fear flees in the sound of His beautiful name. Run to Him. He adores and forgives us, all of us. Accept the free gift of His love and mercy, and forgive yourself. God bless everyone here.❤
For want of a better expression you have hit the nail on the head. We must first forgive ourselves and realise that as humans we will sin again and again as we are not perfect. As Jesus said in the clip, give him and God your heart and he will over time heal you and give you the strength to overcome whatever afflicts you.

Same here. Went to church tonight to help with scaffolding. All day I was having intrusive, violent thoughts, and I wanted to help labor so I could sit, read & pray when we were done. A brother brought ladders from his house, so we didn't have to build the scaffolds. Read, prayed, and hung out with some brothers for 4 hrs cause of it. Jesus is all we need. Praying for you

What an incredible woman the mother Mary had to have been. Interesting for her to know she knew she was the mother to the son of God. To live with that humbly and yet to live with the sorrow/grief knowing he would physically die before her, a pain no mother should ever want to go through. Yet the joy knowing her son had risen again, for all of us.
Anyone else saw this as a portrayal of the sacrament of Confession? Mother Mary helps us approach Jesus again despite our shame so we can receive His mercy again. The first thing she does is put Mary Magdalene's veil again, reminding her of her honor. When Magdalene asks if we should wait for Jesus, Mother Mary says, "No, I'll take you to Him." And just like in Confession, Jesus says "It's good to have you back" to you while also having Mother Mary present in the room. Then He says, "Look at Me. I forgive you. It's over."
The message is clear, He loves all of us sooo much, and as often as we repent, He will forgive us! My father taught me a principle when I was a kid that I will never forget. He said, when you drop a lead ball on the sidewalk, it will stop and stay there. But when you drop a steel ball, it will bounce back up. So, when you fall because of sin, be like the steel ball and bounce back up. This principle works so well, because as often as we bounce back up through repentance, Jesus will forgive us and welcome us back with open arms! Every! Single! Time! Eventually, as we keep getting back up, we will become stronger and stronger to a point that we fall less often, and eventually, hardly ever. And eventually, through his compassion, grace and kindness, we will someday never fall again. In the mean time, I plead with everyone, every one of my brothers and sisters on this world, please, please, keep getting back up!

I was saved 6 years ago, all these years I tried so hard, every.single.day to get out of my addiction, every single time I thought I won, I failed the next day, I stopped praying not because I think God can't save me, but because of the guilt. I thought I was done. Finally submitting to the will of flesh, not because I desired it but because I felt exhausted.Then after a sunday mass I wanted to give one last shot. But then, I started to feel way different than all the times I've tried before. I feel confident in my skin, not ashamed of who I was and I feel clean. I feel refreshed.God loves those who love him. I can feel it, I feel blessed and loved❤ Thank you so much heavenly Father for saving me. And to all those who read, never give up. He loves you. You might tumble and fall, but you are his child, every loving parent knows their kids well to understand that they do make mistakes but still waits patiently. His love is great. I've definitely failed, again, and again, in my life. With some things more than others. But yet, because of his mercy, I'm still here. Even when I wanted so bad to check out of this place, he wouldn't let me. It's SO obvious that he has more for me to experience, and to learn. Thank you Lord.

"I forgive you. It's over." The enemy wants to separate us from God. He does that by making us feel ashamed. He wants us to dwell on our sins and beat ourselves up, because the more time we spend doing that, the less time we spend with God. God wants to free us from our past. God forgives us and casts our sins as far as the east is from the west. Remember, you are not only forgiven completely and entirely, but you can allow yourself to move on because "it's over."

Believing one's self to be perfect is pride, and that line reminds us we are not. Saint Mary Magdalen is really one of my favourites because she was trying her best, and she was also the first to tell of the Resurrection. This version of her is so relatable.

When she said He fixed her and she can't face God . I remember me falling to my old sin again back in 2020 . God help me to resist but i fall back . I thought God wont forgive me anymore . Jesus appeared to me , i gave all my hope in Him , He change me . The desire to do the sin died in that moment . The old me died and became a new creation . John 3 :16
And no matter what Jesus still loves us unconditionally, even when we mest (relapsed) up. Mary is such a beautiful person and good hearted woman. Jesus was probably extremely worried for her but no matter what he still welcomed her back with open arms. That’s Gods ultimate powers. Give time time and struggles will happen but keep moving forward towards the light.
Interesting point Mary was the first one to try and drive out a demon. And then when Jesus tells the disciples they have His authority to do so, they look so confused and scared. Mary of Magdala, despite all her fear and what we'd associate now with trauma, stepped up.

I am so ashamed of my sins. Every day, I ask for forgiveness, but every day, I sin again. Often, I do it deliberately. I am crushed with guilt. Does anybody have any advice? Sometimes, I can't think of anything else 😢

(As is His grace), but we can invite demonic powers back in if we turn back to our old lifestyle....which is why Jesus told the man in the temple, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.” If it weren't possible, Jesus would not have warned the man. This is how I view it anyway. I am always open to hearing others' interpretations. I believe that God must be like this. We come back with so much regret that we think there is no way back, but all we need do is look up and accept the "I forgive you" moment in our own lives.

There is never a point at which God or Christ turns their back on us or gives up on us. Never. There is ALWAYS hope of redemption in the love of God and His love never falters even for a moment.

This is my favourite episode so far. I love every episode but this one reminds me of myself. I was with god but then I fell again and it was so hard for me to go back. I was constantly thinking "that's it. I am not strong enough to go back." But then after some time near Easter, it was like his call was the loudest. And I went back to him and confessed my sins and it's nothing more beautiful than being forgiven again and coming back home.
The feeling I have,when I watch this scene/series, is shame and embarrassment. After my mother was suddenly took from me ,I yelled at him and said very bad(blasphemy)things. Hr or so later I was so in awe that I did that,I had to ask for forgiveness over and over again. I dont think I was heard and i really dont think i deserve to be heard. This series so beautiful, all I do is cry and and feel so unworthy. Mom if u can feel or hear me please help me ask jesus if he will turn to me cause I truly feel he doesn't want to turn around and look me. The fact that iam posting a comment for TV series seems abit silly,I get it. I just feel like I'm trying to land this plane on the Hudson and the front of plane is pointed down and I can't pull it up. Peace
You know, I didn't notice this when I watched this episode last year, but watching this last part about Mary going back to their campsite and up to the end here, I finally understood what I had learned just recently. When we fall and need to go back to Jesus, we need to the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary who will take us to her Son. Then, we must confess our sins, repent and receive forgiveness. 😢❤

I have found that Mary is a big source of comfort for me. I say the rosary a lot now and it helps my life and brings me closer to Jesus. If we need Jesus to get to the father, and Jesus is also the father, then why don’t we need Mary to intercede for us to Jesus since He is also the father. It makes sense to me. But more than logic- it works. ❤

This happened to me. Similar but not the same thing. I had a vision of Lucifer in front of God.. I was way back from a distance but I could see them although not their faces. I knew he was complaining about my sins. I knew in my spirit I couldn’t face God and I felt ashamed. I said in my spirit yes it’s true. So I turned around and gave my back to God and wept in my heart and after that someone was behind me and it was Jesus. I could only see his shadow reflection. And I felt in that moment that he forgave me and died for all of our sins 😢❤
This show is soo beautiful. I wish I could give Jesus a hug and be forgiven for all the sin in my life, all of the darkness and fear. I hope to be able to look to him one day and say “thank you for always being by my side even though I failed time and time again.” Because I know he’s always there

The beauty of Jesus is he never stops believing in us even when we don’t believe in ourselves. Faith is hard we all question it to. But each day is different day and another day to do better than the last day. Jesus knows we stray from our paths every know and again that’s why we must trust and confide in him even when we lose our way. All we have to do is have faith in him and he will lead us back to path ahead.

I had a demon twice in my life, first time was redeemed after getting on my knees. Second time I had to learn my lesson and suffer extreme suffering to the point I almost tore my left eye out. However after 4 years, that demon is gone now and I praise the Lord Jesus for always being at my side even when I didn't deserve it. And yes I did drugs.
Stay away from drugs or alcohol if moves your further away from god, and causes misery in your mind. 🤍🤍🤍🤍 keep praying every day

You will never be snatched from my Father's hand.
I could watch this scene a thousand times. I was clean and sober for 17 years, then “gave it all up” as Mary so painfully puts it. It took twelve years before the desire was finally lifted, and it was all God, no strength of my own. That shame is what holds us back- in whatever sin or addictions keep us captive. We can’t lift our heads no matter how badly we want to. The love of God is so palpable, so powerful, and so redemptive, that once we accept the forgiveness- that is what brings the freedom. God is for us and His love puts our sins as far apart as the east is from the west. I pray that anyone reading this in the grip of despair and failure and heartbreak will accept God’s love. Jesus’ beautiful heart breaks for us. His love is immeasurable. He is the God of a thousand chances. Shame is the captor- Jesus longs for our freedom, longs for us, fights for us when we can’t. Let Him love you back into wholeness. I pray for all the sick and suffering addicts, the slaves of their own demons- fear flees in the sound of His beautiful name. Run to Him. He adores and forgives us, all of us. Accept the free gift of His love and mercy, and forgive yourself. God bless everyone here.❤
For want of a better expression you have hit the nail on the head. We must first forgive ourselves and realise that as humans we will sin again and again as we are not perfect. As Jesus said in the clip, give him and God your heart and he will over time heal you and give you the strength to overcome whatever afflicts you.

Same here. Went to church tonight to help with scaffolding. All day I was having intrusive, violent thoughts, and I wanted to help labor so I could sit, read & pray when we were done. A brother brought ladders from his house, so we didn't have to build the scaffolds. Read, prayed, and hung out with some brothers for 4 hrs cause of it. Jesus is all we need. Praying for you

What an incredible woman the mother Mary had to have been. Interesting for her to know she knew she was the mother to the son of God. To live with that humbly and yet to live with the sorrow/grief knowing he would physically die before her, a pain no mother should ever want to go through. Yet the joy knowing her son had risen again, for all of us.
That is why as a Catholic we venerate Our Lady, not worship but venerate.

Mother Mary helps us approach Jesus again despite our shame so we can receive His mercy again. The first thing she does is put Mary Magdalene's veil again, reminding her of her honor. When Magdalene asks if we should wait for Jesus, Mother Mary says, "No, I'll take you to Him." And just like in Confession, Jesus says "It's good to have you back" to you while also having Mother Mary present in the room. Then He says, "Look at Me. I forgive you. It's over."
The message is clear, He loves all of us sooo much, and as often as we repent, He will forgive us! My father taught me a principle when I was a kid that I will never forget. He said, when you drop a lead ball on the sidewalk, it will stop and stay there. But when you drop a steel ball, it will bounce back up. So, when you fall because of sin, be like the steel ball and bounce back up. This principle works so well, because as often as we bounce back up through repentance, Jesus will forgive us and welcome us back with open arms! Every! Single! Time! Eventually, as we keep getting back up, we will become stronger and stronger to a point that we fall less often, and eventually, hardly ever. And eventually, through his compassion, grace and kindness, we will someday never fall again. In the mean time, I plead with everyone, every one of my brothers and sisters on this world, please, please, keep getting back up!

I was saved 6 years ago, all these years I tried so hard, every.single.day to get out of my addiction, every single time I thought I won, I failed the next day, I stopped praying not because I think God can't save me, but because of the guilt. I thought I was done. Finally submitting to the will of flesh, not because I desired it but because I felt exhausted.Then after a sunday mass I wanted to give one last shot. But then, I started to feel way different than all the times I've tried before. I feel confident in my skin, not ashamed of who I was and I feel clean. I feel refreshed.God loves those who love him. I can feel it, I feel blessed and loved❤ Thank you so much heavenly Father for saving me. And to all those who read, never give up. He loves you. You might tumble and fall, but you are his child, every loving parent knows their kids well to understand that they do make mistakes but still waits patiently. His love is great. As a child I was told I had to be perfect! Or else I’d burn in hell! To hear those words did you really think you would never struggle or sin again hit home with me so hard, some day yes but not here, we all fall short of the glory of God. All parents measure your words to your children

I've definitely failed, again, and again, in my life. With some things more than others. But yet, because of his mercy, I'm still here. Even when I wanted so bad to check out of this place, he wouldn't let me. It's SO obvious that he has more for me to experience, and to learn. Thank you Lord.

I hate that I occasionally continue to sin, but afterward I go to Jesus. I talk to him, I ask forgiveness and pray for his mercy and patience. I want nothing in life than to be forgiven
I felt that way once. Having faith in Him, but not in myself. He saved me from that. Saved me from myself. 💝 Praise Jesus 🙏💗

I love Simon's slowly growing appreciation for Matthew, how he notices Matthew doesn't bother with using is handkerchief for keeping his own hands clean when Mary needs him, his contriteness, and the like.

"I forgive you. It's over."
The enemy wants to separate us from God. He does that by making us feel ashamed. He wants us to dwell on our sins and beat ourselves up, because the more time we spend doing that, the less time we spend with God.
God wants to free us from our past. God forgives us and casts our sins as far as the east is from the west. Remember, you are not only forgiven completely and entirely, but you can allow yourself to move on because "it's over."
"Did you really think that you'd never struggle, or sin again?"
We are always at risk of falling down on our journey, and He is always there as we try to continue. Believing one's self to be perfect is pride, and that line reminds us we are not. Saint Mary Magdalen is really one of my favourites because she was trying her best, and she was also the first to tell of the Resurrection. This version of her is so relatable.
God is rich in mercy!
Most gracious, most loving, most powerful. Creator of all there is. Master of the universe. Commander of the stars.

Every scene from the chosen is touching my heart and its making me realise how amazing is the lord's love for his children. i realize he's with open arms ready to accept me back....
This is just how I have felt and I’m thankful for God’s grace, mercy, and unconditional love. I have failed and sinned greatly as a Christian never thinking I would be forgiven. This chosen episode ministered to my heart greatly.
Coming back from a relapse. At 12 minutes I couldn’t hold the tears. Jesus is so good. By his grace I’m still here. All he wants is my heart.
Everyone please pray for the devil to be removed from me forever and to never come back. I don’t want him here. It would mean the world to me if the devil is removed from me forever. I want to have Gods presence and Holy Spirit to be with me fully at all times

I remember me falling to my old sin again back in 2020 . God help me to resist but i fall back . I thought God wont forgive me anymore . Jesus appeared to me , i gave all my hope in Him , He change me . The desire to do the sin died in that moment . The old me died and became a new creation .

And no matter what Jesus still loves us unconditionally, even when we mest (relapsed) up. Mary is such a beautiful person and good hearted woman. Jesus was probably extremely worried for her but no matter what he still welcomed her back with open arms. That’s Gods ultimate powers. Give time time and struggles will happen but keep moving forward towards the light.
Interesting point Mary was the first one to try and drive out a demon. And then when Jesus tells the disciples they have His authority to do so, they look so confused and scared.
Mary of Magdala, despite all her fear and what we'd associate now with trauma, stepped up.

(As is His grace), but we can invite demonic powers back in if we turn back to our old lifestyle....which is why Jesus told the man in the temple, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.”

I had a recent bout with anxiety. It should have CRIPPLED me. It didn't because Jesus was with me. I have had the issue before and he saved me then and he saved me again. He ALWAYS saves no matter how many times❤

This is my favourite episode so far. I love every episode but this one reminds me of myself. I was with god but then I fell again and it was so hard for me to go back. I was constantly thinking "that's it. I am not strong enough to go back." But then after some time near Easter, it was like his call was the loudest. And I went back to him and confessed my sins and it's nothing more beautiful than being forgiven again and coming back home.

The feeling I have,when I watch this scene/series, is shame and embarrassment. After my mother was suddenly took from me ,I yelled at him and said very bad(blasphemy)things. Hr or so later I was so in awe that I did that,I had to ask for forgiveness over and over again.
I dont think I was heard and i really dont think i deserve to be heard. This series so beautiful, all I do is cry and and feel so unworthy. Mom if u can feel or hear me please help me ask jesus if he will turn to me cause I truly feel he doesn't want to turn around and look me. The fact that iam posting a comment for TV series seems abit silly,I get it. I just feel like I'm trying to land this plane on the Hudson and the front of plane is pointed down and I can't pull it up. Peace
You know, I didn't notice this when I watched this episode last year, but watching this last part about Mary going back to their campsite and up to the end here, I finally understood what I had learned just recently. When we fall and need to go back to Jesus, we need to the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary who will take us to her Son. Then, we must confess our sins, repent and receive forgiveness. 😢❤

@@user-dz6ng9rn1oDoesn’t mean we can’t accept a helping hand getting to Jesus. Just like Mary here; the Blessed Mother, the saints and martyrs, they can help us on our way to Jesus when we are too weak or scared to make the journey ourselves.
I have found that Mary is a big source of comfort for me. I say the rosary a lot now and it helps my life and brings me closer to Jesus. If we need Jesus to get to the father, and Jesus is also the father, then why don’t we need Mary to intercede for us to Jesus since He is also the father. It makes sense to me. But more than logic- it works. ❤
@@MonaLisaFaceyou don't bring yourself closer to Jesus, you bring yourself closer to God. Mary was an ordinary person, that was used by God to birth his son Jesus. The only being we pray to and praise is God. Even Jesus and angels said the same.

No matter how many times we turn the wrong way, Jesus is always willing to redirect us.
This happened to me. Similar but not the same thing. I had a vision of Lucifer in front of God.. I was way back from a distance but I could see them although not their faces. I knew he was complaining about my sins. I knew in my spirit I couldn’t face God and I felt ashamed. I said in my spirit yes it’s true. So I turned around and gave my back to God and wept in my heart and after that someone was behind me and it was Jesus. I could only see his shadow reflection. And I felt in that moment that he forgave me and died for all of our sins 😢❤
This show is soo beautiful. I wish I could give Jesus a hug and be forgiven for all the sin in my life, all of the darkness and fear. I hope to be able to look to him one day and say “thank you for always being by my side even though I failed time and time again.” Because I know he’s always there
