- “G’day folks, welcome to my Famous Graves Down under series. However unusual it seems, it’s actually quite relaxing to walk around cemeteries taking in the history of their residents as well as the beautiful landscapes and majestic old graves. So I figured while I’m touring the graveyards and cemeteries throughout Australia, why not document it and bring you all along for the journey. Hopefully it inspires you to get out and explore the countryside, cemetery or no cemetery.

Much historical info.

loved all the historical research you did , alot of research , you did amazing 👏
The music in the background it’s more powerful than your voice… love the cemetery and the church looks amazing…
Yes I had an issue with the mix but not much I can do now. Thanks for watching
Oh I love cemeteries
So do I lol ❤️❤️❤️
What a lovely little cemetery. I too, am a tapophile and an ideal holiday would involve browsing in cemeteries.
There’s so many interesting stories out there…
Hi new subscriber here 👍 , a good video with good content enjoyed my visit hope all is good with you mate ATB Rob 👍👍
Thanks for your sub Rob. All the best with you too mate. 🤙
Subbed back too. I really enjoy your videos. Just binged about 5 lol
Enjoyed your video. This Cemetery was once the Navy's burial ground of choice and there are at least 53 Royal Navy burials/memorials there. Regards - The Naval Graves Project.
Oh that’s interesting 🤔 thanks for watching and thanks for the info 🤙
We have details of 1010 naval burials in Rookwood and 4609 records nationwide. If you were interested in doing more films, Rookwood, Vaucluse, St Thomas's Crows Nest, Macquarie Park etc etc. Happy to share our information with you. Just a acknowledgement of the groups help is all we ask in return.
Another great vid, my friend.
Thanks Dan. Hopefully my audio levels will get better and thanks for your advice. 🤙

Good night FF SOBRENATURAL THANKS
Wow wow wow...this is just an awesome tour of such a beautiful cemetery filled with so much history ❤️❤️❤️
loved the tour of Camperdown , its such a nice cemetery , love the music 🎶 but maybe adjust it a tiny bit lower only a suggestion , but this was great you are very talented and have a great editing style
Thanks. I’ll keep adjusting. It’s very hard to tell in the editing suite how the music compares to the voice over. It actually sounds the opposite to me but I’ll keep adjusting.
@@TJ_Beam I normally watch it before I release , I'm only human and have made plenty of mistakes along the way
Big like just subscribed.
Thanks folks! Subbed back! 🙏☺️
Many thanks guys and merry Christmas 🤶 🎄.
Awesome video bro 😮❤️🐝
Thank you mate 🙏
Thank you. Please be mindful of the level of background music. Too high in this clip compared to your vox.
Informative. Took some research! Well done!
Sorry for that
Do they have petrified body statues or angels in any graves in Australia?
Not sure about petrified body statues. I know of one petrified pet dog that was made into a statue but other than that I’m not aware of any.
If you mean angel statues on graves yes we have plenty. 😊
@@TJ_Beam oh I would love to see them, do you have a video of them ? I will search your channel! Yes the bodies on the graves were actually petrified people according to Chronicaling American
Some bodies were even marbleized depending on the soil condition, I'm thinking if the ones without wings were real people, why not the ones with wings?
Maybe a slight criticism about the music, tad too loud, your commentary much more important,
Yep. Had that criticism. Thanks. 🤙
It's a shame that these historical sites are left to decay.
What a pity that the grounds aren't tended to at least.
Yeah. Some say it adds character. But they are cleaned every now and then. It just happened I filmed before a big clean.
