- I did so much research before purchasing this high chair. I wanted to make sure we were buying something stylish, comfortable and portable. I really feel that this Peg Perego high chair checks all the boxes I wanted with a few pain points. If you are in the market for a high chair, hopefully this video helps you narrow down your decision.
A high chair is a staple in your home for a good long while once your baby begins eating solids, so it is super important to choose one that is not only stylish but one that work with your family. I will let you know if this high chair is worth its luxury price tag.

Excellent review. I'm a bit puzzled why there are so few likes. We got this chair as a present from a friend, and it helped us to save a lot of time, instead of reading an instruction manual!

Your baby is adorable
We are generally satisfied with the Siesta - but the wheels are NOT suitable for carpets. So expect some heavy lifting... otherwise great product, very versatile and durable. The chair itself is very comfy and easy to clean. Extremely compact when not in use.... Dear Peg Perego, change the wheels and add in vertical adjustment for the tray, and this product will have no rival.
Hi, thank you so much for this review! I'm wondering how easy is it to clean the chair? Do the cushions come off? Do you even need to remove them or food doesn't get between the seat and the cushion?

I got this from offer up for $30, the only missing is the seat belt, but i found it for $10. I recommend this, just maybe check other places for a better deal.

Hi, please allow us to answer your doubt. The main difference is that the Tatamia high chair is also a rocking chair; it is a 3 in 1 product: rocking chair, reclining, high chair. You can use both Siesta and Tatamia high chair from birth :)
Ahh all my items are from peg perego (stroller, carseat and this high chair) but unfortunately I do not like this chair at all. Let me preface it by saying that if you plan on feeding your baby mashed foods yourself then this chair is totally fine. However, it's not good for babies who are under 1 year old, or for parents who are into baby lead weaning because babies in this chair end up being far from the actual tray. The width of the seat is big so if your baby is 5 months old, s/he will slouch to the side, or they cant reach the food on the tray because their arms get tucked on their sides because of so much space. The tray somehow tilts forward and if you put food on it, the food slides down. The leather also wears down from wiping all the food that gets stuck in the little nooks and crannies of the seat. The leather will rip and lose its appeal. I am now using this chair for my second baby and still get frustrated with the fact that she cant reach her food as the tray does not come as close to her tummy as it should. I had the same problem with my son who is now 4. It looks beautiful, but not very ergonomic. Its perfect as a chair for tiny 2 months olds if you want to have them lie down next to you (i even have the play bar for that reason which is lovely ) but we only started enjoying this chair after my kid turned 2 years old and was big enough for it. Last but not least a HUGE plus for this chair is that it slides to your counter and can be used as a counter height chair if you eat at your kitchen island. Not a lot of chairs offer this and peg perego does so. keep that in mind. I wanted that factor which is why i bought it, but i wish it was more ergonomic and BLW friendly.

Hi, I'm looking into buying this chair but am worried the middle plastic part might be uncomfortable for my baby boy. Can it be removed?

@@actuallyalyssa1293 Thanks. I found one second hand in excellent condition for only $60USD! My almost 6 month old seems very comfy in it. It's in the color Cacao which wouldn't have been my first choice but for the deal I got I can't complain. I might buy a black replacement cover but the dark brown is not bad at all.🙂
I found the orange chair part falls to bits. Does anybody know if a new cover or chair part is available.

How old was baby when you started using it ?
We used the high chair starting from newborn! Since it reclines flat, baby sleeps pretty comfortably in it. 🙂
I have twins and I would be buying two therefore I would like to think carefully before I make a purchase
Hi Susan, Wow, that’s a busy household you have! I looks a lot into the Tatamia high chair as well and settled on the Siesta. The Tatamia takes up more space than the Siesta and is heavier overall. Also, I’m a fan of the overall look of the Siesta over the Tatamia with the big plastic piece on the bottom. Since you will be buying two of them (ouch) and they are the exact same price my recommendation would be the Siesta. Especially if you plan to tuck one or more of those high chairs away at any point. Hope that helps!
Product doesn't roll well on carpet. If you have carpet don't get it.... and, we called peg perrego and they will not help.
This is not made in china. We make it in Italy and i can also tell you are very demanding about safety certifications. Bye

Why would you randomly try to expose them for saying made in Italy but 'probably' manufactured in China and sayin China with some sass haha so weird. It's not like this was live and someone asked you... you had time to research...
