Not only can it lubricate the engine, supply oil to the turbo and run the variable valve system (Vanos) that controls Intake and exhaust cam retard and valve lift under various conditions and throttle response. It also makes one hell of oil sprayer. Lol

@Carol lol we all live in a globe which has something call import and export of goods you think we couldn't get olive oil in India or Pakistan? It's available in every other store, People here prefer other oils . India is also a big exporter of coconut oil and such, bet that it's a valuable product there whereas every household has coconut oil here. It's how the world works. Asians have their differences from the western world. So if you're gonna make an asian dish and think adding olive oil is gonna make it healthy its not gonna taste anything like different culture food. Lets say its like trying to make croissant with olive oil instead of butter because u think butter is unhealthy for you 😛. Wake up to how the world works.

Actually, if you use oil to cook it.. becomes more of a Paratha not Naan.. you need to coof by sticking it with water on side on like a pan which is not non-stick and then flip over the pan and cook the naan in direct flame of the fire and my you'll get the tandoor flavour

Nice naan..I tried a similar recipe past weekend with just only one pinch of yeast + luke warm water + 1 tsp sugar; let it rise for couple hours or so....the dough was super soft, puffy and fragrant with no empowering yeast smell; I know some of my friends do not cherish too much of the yeast smell.
I would also spray a lot less oil on the seasoned cast iron pan you cooked on...as you already added a considerable amount of olive oil in the dough while mixing it.

I find that what he said is the same as telling someone well you’re in America so speak English!!! America was built on the belief that everyone is welcome. America is a melting pot of all these beautiful cultures coming together and making America amazing!! I found it so disheartening that a person just telling an Asian woman that her culture was vulgar and that because she’s in America that it was no longer acceptable to be who she is that she needs to do what everyone else does!!! It also made me sad that so many people agreed with him. How many people have felt the pressure of coming to America and having to throw away who they are and their culture to be accepted and I just don’t think that that’s OK. And people are thinking well it’s just a little thing like slurping but it really isn’t.
