I thought you might like a look at this very nice 1950 Pontiac Silver Streak. This 50's hot rod is powered by an Olds Rocket V8, backed by an automatic trans. It's not a show car, but it is a nice quality driver. The body is straight, the interior has been redone, and all the trim is in very good shape. A little painting and detailing under the hood and it would definitely be ready for some local shows. It's starts up and runs well and sounds good through that dual exhaust. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for taking a look!

Love that lemon yellow color. It looks like a dream. Keep Mellow Yellow alive and well. Donavan said it's all right.
Not a vehicle you see every day, thanks for sharing !
Glad you like it. Thanks for watching!
That Olds engine is a deal breaker to an otherwise add a/c and fender skirts to round out a perfect cruiser package.
Beautiful car
Love 🤟 the color of this beautyfull pontiac powerglide v8 sounds awsome what a wonderfull car 🤟 love it thank you jeff Hope it is not so hot and humid here it rains
love those silver streaks! probably had a straight 8 inner originally
Yep, it was definitely a Straight 8 car to start with. Thanks for taking a look!
I love them old Pontiacs
I really like them too. Thanks for having a look at this one!
Dude! That is a nice car! Appreciate you sharing the video!
We appreciate you watching!
You'd be stylin' owning one of these in the 50's. that grille is like monster teeth!
It definitely looks cool. I like all the extra trim they put on the Pontiacs. Thanks for taking a look my friend!
I would definitely prefer it with the original engine. But a very nice car and the yellow stands out. - WIsh you all a Merry X Mas at Classic Cars in St.Louis
That bright yellow certainly makes it stand out :)
Yep, it's certainly an attention grabber. Thanks for watching!
Love the Yellow!
Pretty car
Nice car Jeff !
Thanks for taking a look Jos!
Merry X-mas Jeff to you and your family !
Thanks John, Hope you all have a Merry Christmas too!
My Dad owned a yellow 50 era's Pontiac. He also owned a 57' Ford Fairlane.
The Silver Streaks are Cool!! That's alotta Yellow eh!!☺
It definitely is bright. I think I'd rather have it in black, but the yellow definitely grabs some attention.
Love it, even the color. I had not seen the wire loom brackets on the rockers before, a very nice touch. Too bad they couldn't have gotten a Pontiac motor. $13K even seems reasonable. I tend to appreciate rat rods a bit more since if I had one I'd want to drive it and not just show it.
Wow!
Oh yeahhhh!! Nicccce : )
awesome car I like it😁😁😁😁a lot of it I would buy it but I'm in Foley Alabama
Good job of that vid Jeff...Nice car too.
Thanks Zig...I appreciate you taking a look.
did they replace the original transmission when they installed the Olds engine? I don't remember if the Pontiac and Olds Hydramatic transmissions were identical.
so what size is the Olds engine?
Nice car,the sharpest pontiac I have seen in awhile.RA what do you think about the multi alarm fire you guys had in downtown St louis,I just seen a video for it tonite.I can remember seing that building when I went through that city many years ago.
That was pretty bad. I believe they said a man had been living in the warehouse and his wood stove probably started the fire.
Nice car! What size is the Oldsmobile motor?
That big chrome grill looks similar to a Packard in those years
They were definitely using plenty of chrome back then. Thanks for checking it out!
this car still for sale?
lindo
i didn't know they had color back then, i figured everything was black and white unless you went to oz or something. (just realized it's probably a respray but my comment's still funny so there it is.)
This definitely would have stood out back in 1950, if it was in this color.
GTO was father of muscle cars, this is the grandpa and auburn the old grandpa
trans whine ?
Really nice Pontiac, shockingly unsubtle paint job. A nice burgundy or deep blue would be more suitable, but everyone likes something different.
Nice Pontiac Jeff. The color is a little far out but this is still a nice example.
I don't know if you're taking request now but there's a nice red 65 Impala with a 383 Stroker, crane cam, Headman Headers, etc at Gateway. The rims are ultra ugly but I still believe it deserves a video.
I haven't seen that one....it might be at one of the other locations. I'll take a look around next time I'm over there.
RamblinAround AH DARN IT, it's at the Detroit location. :( There is a pretty nice blue 69 Impala convertible at the St. Louis location though.
canibusnj Detroit is a pretty good drive for me :) I have seen the convertible, but I haven't filmed it yet.
RamblinAround I know it is Jeff. I don't expect you to drive that far. lol Can you do a video of the blue Impala??
canibusnj I'll see what it looks like the next time I'm over there.
These chromed up cars from the fifties are screaming, "WE WON THE WAR BITCH!"
I don't like those 'no touch' signs. I want to feel every part of that one!
Glad you like it. Thanks for watching!
waterfalls on hood and trunk.
That engine is an Oldsmobile engine and it did not come in Pontiacs from the factory. The correct engine should be a side valve straight 8 engine. Pontiac would not get a V8 until 1955. The transmission is correct.
check out Led sled on CZcams Luke has created a rendering of my project 1966 chieftain Scout done .
Silver streak was not a v8 car it was a stright 8

👍❤😂😅.
I can put that car in California for about 30 to big ones
PONTIAC in those days was just a Chevrolet with stripes!
Como cuanto cuesta un coche como este amarillo
DO NOT TOUCH!!
It sounds nasty
