Great video! In her case, regardless of any procedures, Avril has excellent genetics and probably a good skincare routine. She improved what was necessary and still looks basically the same - I find it to be a great example to follow.

I think she hadn't got veneers, because for me the shape of her teeth is the same, but I think she had some orthodontal treatment with brackets or retainer and whitened her teeth.

What you say is filler in the cheeks, I see it potentially as her face just filling in from weight gain. Like you said, she has less definition in her mandible area, and that's because there's more fat there now.

Especially the picture he showed for it, I knew he was gonna say botox before he said it. The botox areas look unnaturally smooth.
40 is not young. It is considered young compared to a 60 yo but in general 40 is by no means young. It's middle aged.

40 is actually close to the average longevity in humans in early periods of our history and no, we haven't evolved much biologically since then. We just now have better living conditions and advanced medicine.
40 is also pretty much the end of reproductive age for most women.

On several celebrity videos it’s mentioned that the lateral portion of the eyebrow descends as they get older. As someone in their 30s I have started to notice this, but I also noticed my brow as a whole sits higher than when I was in my 20s. I had hooded eyes that were full and covered most of my eyelid, but I have lost much of the volume there now. More of my eyelids are visible with just a small flap of excess skin at the crease. It’s funny because I actually like my eyes more now since there’s more room for eyeshadow. I’m wondering if with the volume there held the brows in a lower position and with the lose of volume they sit higher or if something else is going on? I haven’t been able to find a video of someone explaining the phenomenon so I thought a full video on eyebrow/eyelid aging would be cool. Great video as always!
i like my skull literally grew and my eyebrows moved up as well.. i just had smaller eye sockets when i was young or something and my eyes looked more hooded then

I hope for a world where we are allowed to age peacefully. It's a privilege not everyone has.
If only women could see the beauty of looking like she's in her mid-thirties. These little changes don't look bad and "looking older" isn't the only litmus "looking worse" - In fact, those exact changes are quite lovely. There's something chic & regal about it. Young girls envy this sleek, smart look, yet by the time they're there they forgot all the about that in a panic to look like a late teen again. A damn shame. A fully grown woman looks radiant, powerful, and sadly I find filler reduces this effect while not really de-aging anyway, just kind of inflating - but I'm sure I wouldn't know good filler when I see it because that's it doing its proper job. I'm just saying, the look of a woman in her thirties is nothing to be ashamed of no matter what, but it's extra tragic to not see its beauty. There's a swanness to it and so much room to celebrate, decorate and show off those lovely, fashionable changes. I would even argue many women don't hit their peak until then and there are centuries of art & photography that agree. Sorry this wasn't really about Avril haha just wanted to get that off my chest

She looks great and yes, she has likely had stuff done, but it’s very tastefully done in the most part. At least until just this past year, it looked very, very natural. She may be looking a little tiny bit done now, but who knows, maybe just be the examples used. She looks great, and hopefully doesn’t overdo it in the years to come, and I personally think it’s nice to let some signs of ageing show, 40-50-60+ yr olds aren’t gonna be looking like they are 20 or 30 anymore. I am 39 this year, and look pretty youthful (in my own opinion) I would like to see people of my era, age gracefully, show those ageing after us, that it’s ok to get older.
She has always mentioned that she usually takes great care of her personal care routines, skin care, her diet, not exposing herself to the sun too much so as not to damage her skin, and that after suffering from Lyme she had to increase the care she gave to her her general health, etc etc etc all this has always helped her maintain a healthy body/skin for all to see. It is great to see how a professional can confirm and/or clarify details of the possible minimal surgical processes in her, and at the same time to also be able to have that professional perspective of how the personal care that she has in her life can be seen and how that has been reflected in his almost 40 years.

I think Avril looks amazing. Been a huge fan of hers since her first single. same age as her. She looks very natural for what she might have had done. Just a fan fact. When Avril had lymes disease and was it her worst she was be ridden. When it got too much she finally wrote music to help her through it. That where the song Head above Water comes from. She wrote that in her bed when she was at her worst. Beautiful song. Thanks Dr Gary. Love your videos.
