Measurements
Melon Mambo Cardstock - 2 pieces card base 5¾” x 11½” (14.6cm x 29.2cm) US 5½” x 11”
Score at 2⅞”, 5¾”, 8⅝”(7.3cm, 14.6cm, 21.9cm) US 2¾”, 5½”, 8¼”. Mark at 2⅞” (7.3cm) US 2¾” on both portrait ends on both pieces & cut diagonally from first score line down to pencil mark. Repeat top and bottom and both ends on both pieces of cardstock. Corner round the four points you have just created.

I made this card. Thank you very much. I followed your instructions and I think it turned out really nice. I had the paper and the stamps. I didn't use stamping right markers. I did a masking technique instead with just ink.

Thank you so much for sharing Amanda's card! (It turns out I have some of her projects bookmarked.) I do like it very much. It really is beautiful and it turns out to be so easy to put together! Thank you for your clear and easy instructions, and thank you to Amanda for the design! The post office here has raised prices on our "butterfly" stamps for non-machinable cards and letters for the second time this year (square and bulky cards are considered non-machinable here). Very expensive, now, and I use them on all my cards domestically, but I think I am going to start sending square cards just so I can really get on USPS when a card is sent through the machines. They've been terrible of late, charging so much more and then ignoring the actual purpose of these special stamps! Yes, there were layering squares. I was so upset I missed out on them (they left at the same time as the ovals). I could only get one set, so I chose the ovals. I found something beautiful to get in squares later, so I'm not as upset now (though still am just a smidge). xx
Many thanks, Kimy. Hopefully, a lesson learned? Buy layering shapes as soon as possible? As I said in the video I keep all my shapes (circles, ovals, squares, hearts, stars, etc), alphabets and word dies when they retire. I think these are such amazing value for money. xx
@@janbcards Heh, lesson learned (mostly). I have the layering circles and the stitched rectangles, and just added the deckle edge dies. I think I'll flip to the dies in catalogs first when they (catalogs) come out from now on.

amazing card! aside from the prep work (a lot of card stock) it looks very simple to put together. you make a really good tutorial video. information for all levels of crafters. even experienced crafters can pick up little tips here and there! thank you so much!

as for the airline kafuffle, the fact that they got back to you to let you know they received your claim shows that they have great customer service. a definite consideration for the next time you fly.
from experience, i did not receive that level of customer service when a problem happened. in fact, i had to keep calling them, making me feel like i was a number in a line and not a valued customer.
and excellent tip about the refund vs. voucher for next flight.

Hi, Marion. On 31.07.22 (in my last video) I said I was taking a four week break because of ongoing health issues. Unfortunately, the break is going to be a bit longer because during tests I've been having, the medics have picked up on another problem!! You can either search by name if you know the name of a demonstrator or you can search by using your address to find someone local. (If you'd like to avoid that hassle and would like me to give you the name of a the name of a demonstrator, let me know!) The stamp set and Designer Series Paper are called Wonderful World.
