You, Sam Calcott, Helen Griffin, Helen Parker, and Olga Direktorenko, are my absolute favorite video demonstrators. I like each of you for different reasons. With you, I love your specificity and your exacting approach to crafting. Your instructions are excellent. I also respect your product reviews. I actually bought the new trimmer from my Stampin' Up Demonstrator here in the United States because of your in-depth review. So Thank You for your direct commentary. People need to know the good and the not so good about things so they can make an informed decision before they make a purchase. It's important. When you begin your meetings again, please continue to show your swaps. I love those. Keep crafting Jan Brown. From Jan Mc in the United States.

Jan you have the patience of a saint ! That is so time consuming but as usual you have produced another beautiful card. I cannot understand why anyone would give it a thumbs down. This past week I’ve been using up scraps trying to do patchwork designs. I will try your method now. Thanks for sharing your wonderful work. Take care, be safe. Sending you a virtual hug 🤗. Cheers.

GREAT tutorial, Jan!! Years ago, we did something similar called the Bargello Technique. I really like your technique better because of the tiny gap between each strip of paper instead of butting them right up against each other. Takes a little bit more time, but oh so worth the beautiful results!! Thank you so much for sharing and teaching this beautiful design!! :-)

Many thanks, Judy. The "doors" are the plates you adhere the stamps to when using the Stamparatus. They are like doors because you can open and close them and lift them off (to turn them round and adhere more stamps on the other side). The correct name is plates! Sorry for causing confusion! xx
